I'm always early but I've never had to wait more than a minute. The salon is always festive with fresh flowers and plants and always neat and clean. There are tons of nail salons in and around this area with terrible reviews, and Tina Nails had the only salon with positive reviews and an updated interior with proper and chic furniture and chairs. Jimmy is the best! I came in with some entirely too long acrylic nails and a few that were broken and needed to be replaced due to poor workmanship (not from here). He nailed the shape, and when I wanted to do a glitter he had a solid recommendation about base color to ensure it popped. 100% entirely happy with my visit. read more

I have been going to Tina Nails for maybe 5-6 years. It is the best nail salon in the area. I drive there from Carmel. They are professional, friendly and the quality of their mani/pedis is tops. I especially appreciate that they don't remove gel polish with a sander like so many salons do these days Yesterday, I was there, when a very entitled woman came in with her pooch. Staff right away told her dogs aren't permitted and she said her dog was a service dog and she was allowed to take it anywhere. Nonsense. The woman made it up because she was from out of town and had nowhere to leave the dog when she went to get her nails done. Tina and staff handled her politely but she had a hissy fit anyway. read more

I really wanted to like this place because it's within walking distance to my home and I love supporting small businesses. After my recent experience, I will not be returning. I had an appointment to get an acrylic set. So I get there and I get told to wait. So when they finally called me to sit at their station, I had to wait another five minutes. While I'm still waiting, I get asked what color I want. Usually when you go to a nail salon, they'll give you a binder of colors to choose from right away, and I didn't get one as soon as I sat down. So I politely tell the lady that if I can please look at the binder with all the colors so I can choose one. The lady handed me the binder with such attitude. Then a guy ends up doing my nails (can't remember his name) I ended up getting a couple of cuts on my cuticles and he didn't apologize or asked if I was OK. Basically the whole time I was there I felt very unwelcomed. I received a couple of unfriendly stares. The workers were very kind and welcoming to the other clientele that was in the salon except me. I don't know if it's because I'm Latina and everyone else in there was white but who knows what their deal was. I definitely regret tipping 22% they did not deserve my money and kindness. It's a bummer that I have to leave a negative review. Don't waste your time/money at this place and go to oasis nails in Carmel by the sea instead! They are so sweet/hospitable and they do an amazing job with all the services they provide! read more

And when I showed them my inspo photo they told me it would look like a "little kids" nails and that I should only do one singular nail... I really only come here for pedicures and they do a fabulous job! Very thorough getting all the dead skin off and they do a great foot massage. Anh did my pedi and she was very sweet and friendly. Clean establishment and very upscale vibe. The massage chairs are sooooo comfy. They do close Wednesdays so just be mindful of that! read more

This was my first manicure since before my daughter was born almost eight months ago, and I was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, it was also my last visit to this salon. The gentleman doing my nails repeatedly touched his mouth and nose, and he coughed into his hand while working on my nails, which was concerning. Additionally, I felt uncomfortable when the staff hounded another customer about where she had her nails done previously. Despite her attempts to be vague and simply say "just another place in town," they pressed her until she eventually revealed the name of the business. After that, several nail technicians began to speak negatively about the owner and main technician of that salon, very unprofessional. I decided to leave without getting my nails painted, even though I paid for a full manicure. It was an incredibly uncomfortable experience that left me feeling uneasy the entire day. I hesitated before writing this review, as I've been to Tina Nails on four prior occasions and enjoyed those experiences. But I had a terrible experience yesterday, and I hope this helps others avoid a similar issue. Last holiday season (Dec. 2024), I went to Tina Nails with my 3 closest girlfriends- we made a reservation in advance to have side-by-side pedicures, and it was lovely! So much so, we decided to make it our holiday tradition, and added my mother-in-law to our group. Since there were 4 of us this year, and we wanted to come in on Saturday, Dec. 20th (the weekend before Christmas), I called over a month in advance to make the reservation for 4pm so we could head to dinner in PG afterwards. Upon arriving yesterday, I was told there was no record of our reservation. I explained I'd called well in advance (in November) and the lady I'd spoken to confirmed the 4 of us could come in at the same time, etc. I'd provided all the details of what we'd like to have done, had provided my phone number, etc. I was told that was absolutely impossible. I was told I'd made a mistake, had surely called the wrong salon, etc. When I responded that I'd visited this salon on multiple prior occasions, and had the correct # in my phone, I was met with a demand to show my cell phone and find/show the call in my call log, to prove I had called. I was asked to show the duration of the call, and prove I had the correct phone # attributed to 'Tina Nails' in my phone. I was able to do all that. I had called on at 9:47 am on Saturday, November 8th; the call lasted for 1 minute. I had the correct number in my phone. Still, I was told there was no way I'd made the reservation. I was again accused of calling the wrong salon- was again firmly told this was all my mistake. It wasn't until I pulled a gift certificate out of my purse (I had $30 remaining on it from a prior visit in March), printed with all of Tina Nails' business details, and could thus prove I'd been to the salon before and had not mistakenly called some other random salon, that she started to look concerned. Ultimately, they fit us in. But it was not the start to our special best friends' evening we'd hoped for. I will not go back. My recommendation: If you make a reservation, no matter how certain you feel it was properly documented, call back and confirm. read more

This is by far the best service I've ever experienced! From the second you walk in, you're greeted with a warm, welcome smile. Not only is this place gorgeous, but the services are amazing. I got the spa pedicure and I loved it. It's hard for me to relax, and that's exactly what I'm doing right now as I sit here enjoying my paraffin treatment. She turned my nails from fragile to fabulous! I always find myself picking the same colors so I let Tina change it up for me.
