We were just casually strolling around Hong Kong Plaza on our way to Haven City Market, mentally preparing our appetites for battle, when my daughter hit the brakes like she'd spotted treasure. The treasure? Kawaii Klaws, a neon-lit claw machine paradise. Now, as a self-proclaimed foodie, I came for dumplings. But suddenly I'm evaluating joystick technique and plushie-grabbing strategy like it's a Michelin sport. It's actually a super fun arcade spot... bright, cute, and dangerously addictive. Honestly, if the twins had been there, we'd need an extra suitcase just for the prizes. Great vibes, solid hangout energy, and only mildly distracting when you're supposed to be on a serious food mission.

I've gone to this location of Kawaii Klaws a number of times in the past year with family and friends. It's awesome place to bring kids or hang out with family for some fun and games. It's located just outside of the Haven City West Covina. If you have time or need a break to try to win some prizes definitely stop in. The location has plenty of claw machines all over the space. The selections of plushies varies each time I've gone there. They have Marvel, Pokemon, Sanrio, and Labubu plushies in the machines currently. You purchase your game card with the staff whom are helpful and accessible when you want them to adjust the machines. They also refill the machines periodically. Each game is about 7 credits which I think ends up being $2-3 per attempt. Also, they have some Labubu Boxes in select machines which are 21-35 credits. The more prizes you win you can trade up at the desk for bigger plushies. You can spend a bit of time and $ but it's all in good fun and the feeling of winning at the machine is worth it! It's a family friendly place and they have a really cool wall of plushies to take pictures. Come here and try your luck! Thanks, Kawaii Klaws!

Kawaii Klaws is such a fun spot for kids! They had a great time playing the claw machines and were excited to win lots of cute plushies. We especially loved that they could trade in their smaller prizes for bigger ones--it made the experience even more rewarding. The workers are incredibly friendly and patient with the kids, which made the visit even better. Highly recommend for a family outing!

Stopped by here after dinning at Haven City. We have a Kawaii Klaws in Alhambra but they provide you with physical tokens rather than a play card. Its $2 to activate the play card which to me is absurd. Anyway, my wife had lots of fun but we felt like the prizes here aren't as good as the Alhambra location.

We revisited Kawaii Klaws and they have better quality plushes. The store have upgraded to using cards instead of coin. It costs $2 to open a card and each play costs $1. The store also collabs with other restaurants, so you can win coupon (from claw machines) for food items such as boba, pizza, etc.

Kawaii Klaws has got some cool new updates! I miss playing the claws with baskets of tokens, but the rechargeable cards are cute and efficient. Something cool about Kawaii Klaws is that you can play to win authentic labubus or smiskis. If you're not feeling very lucky then you can also purchase them instead. They also have some clothes for Labubu too. The service here is great! The staff is super nice and always available to open up the machines for trades or offer a bag when you have a collection of prizes in hand. You can switch from different machines (up to three times) or switch from the same machine. I really wanted to maintain my 5 star rating for this place because it really is a great place to visit. However, I feel like the trade up prizes aren't really worth getting. They're larger, but that's all there is to it. I could be mistaken, but the quality of them doesn't seem any better than the small prizes from the machine. Nonetheless, the prize selection that they offer in the machines are very cute. I was very happy to go home with a couple Zanmang Loopy beavers. Meanwhile, my siblings were so excited to win chikawa characters.

We love claw machines! We got 22 tokens for $20 . The girl was nice to explain how the rules work with the trading . We got 4 plushies at the end and we were allowed to trade 3 since we wanted cross machine. The quality of the plushies were very good. We enjoyed coming here and recommends it if you're looking for something fun to do in the area!

So I didn't even really know what this place was but I saw it right next to Haven City Market and decided to check it out. They have a bunch of claw machines inside with dolls that you can win as prizes? Place seemed clean and nice inside and the employee was very friendly! Check it out if you like claw machines!

I came here on my self care day off from work and it was super fun! It was towards the end of the month so the LaBuBus were running out but they have a lot of cute machines. Most machines are $1 token per play. LaBuBus are $5 token per play. Great location next to haven city where you can walk and grab a snack after.

My son and I have been coming here since they opened. It used to be great. We would spend $50 every time we went and he would leave with about 6-8 small stuffed animals. We went yesterday (Sunday). They changed to a card system instead of tokens. The cashier said it's still equivalent to about $1 per play. The stuffed animals they had were terrible and miscellaneous characters. The claw machines no longer grasp as good either. They must've fixed the grasp on the claws so the customers lose more. We spent $20 and could not get one stuffed animal. We will no longer come here.

There's bowling available, karaoke, and a food area in between. Entrance is accessible through the mall or through the parking lot. Parking is free, plentiful in a sizeable lot for the Puentes Hill Mall. I've had my R1 card for over a decade and I've seen them have many collaborations over the years, most offer different collab plushies, and when you refill your credits, you usually get a extra reward from it. (etc: keychains, various merch, tumblers, and sometimes even a different R1 physical card) If you're a big fan of arcades, this is the spot to go. My partner and I always come out with 5+ plushies every time and it's to the point where people be staring at us for having so many plushies. Some of the claw machines though are a bit tough, to the point where it does feel a bit rigged as it's coded differently. My favorite are the triple claws rather than the dual claws, they're definitely better in terms of catching plushies out. Besides the claw machine, there's a variety of games machines in the back. They consist of racing, dancing, sports, RNG games, etc, all in the fun of the games. Some games give you tickets where you can redeem points from your card to get extra rewards, take it like a points shop. Overall, a very fun, spacious, and considerably expensive spot. You have so much fun in here that the time passes quite quickly. R1 is pretty clean and they have a great amount of staff that are able to assist you accordingly. Great spot overall.

However, I'm giving this place a four star rating because I don't think I'd find myself coming back. It's probably a five star experience for a younger crowd, but my knees could only handle so much. We decided on the 90 minute play time and it was more than enough time to enjoy the facility. At this location, we took turns on the mechanic bull, braved the ninja obstacle course, tried roller skating/roller blading, jumped on the trampolines, and raced each other in the arcade. There was a lot more to play, but these were the activities that we were most interested in. We arrived closer to the opening time so it wasn't very busy when we were here. This was nice because it made a lot of the activities more accessible. I think that Spo Cha is a great place to try something new! I like that they emphasize safety and provide the appropriate gear for specific activities at no additional cost. It's an excellent value for your money compared to other adventure parks.

This place is every germaphobe's nightmare. I remember when Spo-Cha first opened and thought it was…read morea decent little spot to do some activities. Coming back years later with somewhat optimistic expectations, it sadly now looks like a shell of what it could have been. On Sunday afternoon, we decided to check out Spo-Cha since we had nothing else to do while hanging out with friends. While I was already anticipating having to use shared equipment, it was honestly really gross seeing communal sports equipment just being hung up after use or thrown in the same bin for the next person to use... and not to mention, everything was VERY sweaty too. There were no attendants actively cleaning equipment (maybe one at the roller rink) and no form of paper towels or sprays to at least allow you to clean between use. Not sure if I was more afraid of potentially getting lice or ringworm, but I tried to avoid touching anything with cloth while I was there. If you're a parent, consider bringing extra disinfectant wipes or hand sanitizer. The bathrooms were not the cleanest but were fine if you're just washing your hands frequently. Not to mention, there were kids running amok throughout the establishment. Again, while it is to be expected, I was still a little concerned seeing there be a lack of parental supervision for a LOT of young kids (toddlers included). Not only is it dangerous for them, who likely don't know any better, but also for older teens and adults trying to avoid knocking them over when they disrupt games or recklessly run into people around the roller rink. While at the very least, most of the sports were fine to play (e.g. billiards, table tennis, volleyball, pickleball, etc.), when it came to the arcade... half the machines were broken. And even if they worked, then a third of those would have something wrong with it. At that point, you'd rather spend your money at Round 1 next door for arcade games and somewhat of a nicer experience. Moving on to the dining area... We did get thirsty after a while and, after noticing a pitcher of water at an empty table, we asked if we could order one as well. The staff (hiding behind the self-order kiosks, since you do not have the option to order at the register) let us know that a pitcher of water costs $8. Needless to say, consider eating and drinking before/after you come here (or just fork up a few extra dollars for a soda instead). Sure, you can say that you get what you pay for, but this place seems to have been going downhill for a while. The only person really working was the employee in a black button up checking us in and out at the counter. He was very courteous and efficient, but seemed pretty overworked. Not sure what things look like behind the scenes, but it doesn't seem like anyone else other than him really cared about the quality or reputation of this place. Overall, if you're looking for a place to kill 3 hours with a $30 budget, you've found it. If you keep your expectations low enough, it's honestly not that terrible of a spot to try different sports or get a little exercise in while having some semblance of fun. But, if you have the chance to avoid it, avoid it. Or instead, consider catching a movie at AMC or heading to Round 1 before it meets the same fate as Spo-Cha.
