I had coins from my last visit which was about a year ago. I came back to use them and they had changed the system to not accept coins. I asked the guy in front and he said "since we changed, I don't think I can do anything." The way it was handled was poor service. I can see that this hasn't happened to him but there was no effort to resolve this. I was told about this place, so I decided to try it out, and my kids had so much fun! It's filled with toy claw machines, and I especially loved their back wall decorated with a bunch of plushies. We spent about $30 and ended up winning two plush toys. I've seen some people win more, but you're also paying for the fun and experience the kids are having. Some of the machines can be a little tricky, but once you get the hang of them, your chances of winning definitely improve. I've gone to this location of Kawaii Klaws a number of times in the past year with family and friends. It's awesome place to bring kids or hang out with family for some fun and games. It's located just outside of the Haven City West Covina. If you have time or need a break to try to win some prizes definitely stop in. The location has plenty of claw machines all over the space. The selections of plushies varies each time I've gone there. They have Marvel, Pokemon, Sanrio, and Labubu plushies in the machines currently. You purchase your game card with the staff whom are helpful and accessible when you want them to adjust the machines. They also refill the machines periodically. Each game is about 7 credits which I think ends up being $2-3 per attempt. Also, they have some Labubu Boxes in select machines which are 21-35 credits. The more prizes you win you can trade up at the desk for bigger plushies. You can spend a bit of time and $ but it's all in good fun and the feeling of winning at the machine is worth it! I hooked the same prize at least 8 times straight and it dropped right before it moved clearly they have the win rate set very very low. Kawaii Klaws has got some cool new updates! I miss playing the claws with baskets of tokens, but the rechargeable cards are cute and efficient. Something cool about Kawaii Klaws is that you can play to win authentic labubus or smiskis. If you're not feeling very lucky then you can also purchase them instead. They also have some clothes for Labubu too. The service here is great! The staff is super nice and always available to open up the machines for trades or offer a bag when you have a collection of prizes in hand. You can switch from different machines (up to three times) or switch from the same machine. I really wanted to maintain my 5 star rating for this place because it really is a great place to visit. However, I feel like the trade up prizes aren't really worth getting. They're larger, but that's all there is to it. I could be mistaken, but the quality of them doesn't seem any better than the small prizes from the machine. Nonetheless, the prize selection that they offer in the machines are very cute. Im sad. We bought the $40s for $29 on Groupon. We were there spending that $29 and my 8 year old son and I didnt get one thing. :( Toys are too large for the claws or too round to grip. Every single time we got it ..it dropped due to the weight. We got 4 plushies at the end and we were allowed to trade 3 since we wanted cross machine. The quality of the plushies were very good. Now it changed and the machines are barely half full and it's super hard to win anything. It detours me to wanting to come back anymore. After 20+ tries I won nothing. The workers are really nice and they're always pretty helpful so overall I gave an extra star for service. Most claw machine places have bootleg prizes, but KK has a solid selection. The space is clean. The two young ladies working were very attentive. They allowed us to swap prizes and assisted us every time we needed help. Each token is equivalent to $1. It is one token per play for a majority of the claw machines. They do have a few claw machines that cost more, but it's for a really good prize, such as a Labubu. The coins go by fairly quickly as each machine is a hit or miss and before you know it, your 5 tokens in and still trying to claw a cute stuffie! I purchased 50 tokens per child and it took us 30 minutes to finish the tokens. We left with branded plastic backpacks stuffed with stuffies. It shares a shopping center with Haven city market, which is very convenient. There is plenty of parking, and when you're done at KK you can grab some yummy food. read more

My son and I have been coming here since they opened. It used to be great. We would spend $50 every time we went and he would leave with about 6-8 small stuffed animals. We went yesterday (Sunday). They changed to a card system instead of tokens. The cashier said it's still equivalent to about $1 per play. The stuffed animals they had were terrible and miscellaneous characters. The claw machines no longer grasp as good either. They must've fixed the grasp on the claws so the customers lose more. We spent $20 and could not get one stuffed animal. I was having dinner next door when I saw Kawaii Klaws! I walked over after dinner. The staff is friendly and helpful. You are greeted as you walk in. They have music playing. They have about 30 or so machines that you can use. They take cash and tap payments to convert them into coins. Each coin is $1. There's different machine options to choose from gadgets to plushies. I thought the Dumbo one was cute, so I tried that machine. They have a cute area for you to take pictures. They also have a prize wall for the other machines that I believe give tickets. I used to love this place earlier this year, but recently the machines have definitely changed. The claws just aren't the same anymore.
