Funko Pop was doing a special event for KPOP Demon Hunters and we decided to check it out! If you are looking for something fun to do and you already paid for the hotel, parking, and/or accommodations, then head on over to Funko Pop! It's literally Disney Land without the price of admission! Tons of photo opportunities and figurines. Totally age appropriate and they have a lot of branded installations that blew me away. My personal favorite was game of thrones and the Villains Throne :)

A must stop if walking on Hollywood Blvd. Its a great place to walk around with plenty of photo opportunities. The best thing is its FREE. If you have kids this place is for them. They can check out all the displays and have a lot of fun. Each area is by theme. Disney, Starwars, etc. They sell every Funko you can imagine. But thats pretty much all they sell besides clothing, backpacks, etc.

This was an incredible awesome store/experience. There are plenty of things to buy ranging from the Funko Pops themselves to Loungefly bags as well as shirts and other small things. We stopped in to look around when we walked the Hollywood walk of fame. It was more than we expected! There were life size props to take photos with and there was a space for everyone to look at something they enjoy. The employees were very friendly and this was free to enter.

I honestly feel sorry for this place. The inside is Disney/Universal-level themed -- huge immersive rooms, perfect lighting, endless photo ops -- but it's almost always empty. You'll see the occasional line of collectors camping for a new POP drop they can flip, but outside of that? Crickets. And with Funko basically going bankrupt, it makes even less sense how this giant space is still operating. There are so many employees walking around with not much to do because there just aren't any customers. It's almost awkward -- you feel like you're intruding on their break. They've even been running "End of Year Sales" with 50% off tons of merch, which tells you exactly how things are going. The funny part is the POPs are the least interesting thing here. The clothing, bags, pins, and vinyl section of rare Mondo albums (which I've bought from) are way better than the figures. They even have Loungefly bags. But you'd never know, because they only advertise the same goofy POPs. If you're a tourist, definitely stop in. The place is a photo-op playground and genuinely one of the most impressive setups on Hollywood Blvd. I once heard a rumor there's a bar inside the TARDIS, but that would require this place making money, so... yeah. Don't sleep on it though -- it's lasted this long, but with the crowds this thin, who knows how much longer it'll be around.

Unreal!! Can't believe my bf and I haven't been here before till the other day. Our favorite game had some of the Voice Actors on 10/1/25 for signing so we headed on over, very early, to try to get in and what a success! Arrived around 8am, was stuck in traffic for an hour due to the lovely LA morning rush hour on a Wednesday. Parking was easy, the initial lot was closed probably because they don't open till 11am so we went around to find another connecting structure and they also validate which is great! So hard finding good parking around LA that isn't overpriced. This place is located across The Fonda Theater if you are familiar with the area. We walked over and were very happy and surprised to see that the line wasn't very long yet! Got there at a good time, still waited for about 4 hrs but all worth it. It seemed like it was still available to the public and they had the event line barred off separately so it wasn't too in the way of regular customers. If you guys know me, I've been heavily invested and obsessed with Baldur's Gate 3 so this was a must for me. Super happy with meeting my favorites and having some of my things signed and especially photo ops!! Even got lucky with the Chase Funko which was completely randomly distributed. All of the Funko staff and security were organized and very friendly as well. We got to shop around after the signing and it was incredible being there with barely any people! It was basically empty other than the event. Super cool to see all the themed areas, loved the horror section and Harry Potter section of course! Looking forward to coming back and taking more time to actually shop as well. My wallet was done after the event lol!! Overall a really cool spot and must visit if you are in Hollywood. They have a Funko for literally everything! IG: @ammysalamii

Funko Hollywood: A Two-Hour Fever Dream of Fandom, Photos, and "Wait, I Didn't Know They Made THAT!" If you're anywhere near Hollywood Boulevard and you spot a burger place with a line that looks like a theme park ride... look to the right. Because that is where the real magic lives: the Funko Hollywood Store. Now, if you don't already know, Funko Pop! figures are those adorable little vinyl characters with the big round eyes that somehow manage to capture the soul of every pop-culture icon ever. Movies, TV, music, superheroes, villains, nostalgia -- if it exists, Funko has probably turned it into a collectible. And this store? This is the mothership. The moment you walk in, it's like stepping inside a colorful vortex of fandoms. They had a themed area for literally everything: * Stranger Things -- complete with set pieces that made me feel like I was a background extra in Hawkins. * Rick and Morty -- chaotic, neon, and somehow exactly what I expected. * Disney -- vibrant, magical, and guaranteed to poke your inner child. * Nostalgia & Toys -- 80s, 90s, early 2000s... basically a museum for your childhood, but in fun-size. We spent a full two hours in there taking pictures, posing with giant sculptures, going "OMG LOOK AT THIS ONE!" every seven seconds, and basically acting like kids who found out the candy store now has free Wi-Fi. The place is massive, interactive, and honestly just fun to explore. And yes -- it's completely free to walk in. Bless them. But fair warning: free to enter does not mean free to leave. They sell way more than just Funko Pops. We're talking backpacks, accessories, apparel, collectibles, and enough cute merch to convince you that you "totally need" another bag. (You don't, but you will buy one anyway.) And the best part? They have a "Build Your Own Funko Pop" station where you can create a Pop figure that actually looks like you. Hair, outfit, accessories -- the whole deal. It's like Build-A-Bear for nerdy adults and enthusiastic kids. Dangerous. Wonderful. Addictive. After two hours of excitement, photos, and sensory overload in the best way, we left with an appetite and a ton of new memories -- and maybe a bag or two. 10/10 would recommend for burning energy, embracing your inner fan, taking amazing photos, distracting the kids, and letting your wallet nervously sweat while pretending everything is fine.

    The exorcist.

Okay if you're into Funko pops and cute bags then this is definitely a place for you! The entrance is FREE and they have cool photo op stations. It's a great place to brings kids and see their reaction to Funko pops that are way bigger than them :)

We love visiting the Funko store. I'm not a collector but my brother is. When we saw that they are dog friendly, we knew we had to go. I love the set up of the installations. Some you can take pictures with. We definitely had our dog model with a few of them. The place itself is clean and the staff are so nice! They offered to take our pictures for us. For collectors, they do have some store exclusive pops to check out. If you ever are in the Hollywood area, you should come check this place out.

They never have the favorite hard to get items I want, but I still find something everytime. This time one of the family members Funko popped themselves. The employees are useful, with a ton of historical knowledge and all the new stuff. They love working there. This is a happy place for all.

    Britt C.

We stopped by here after the pride parade. My granddaughter would go absolutely nuts in here, she is quite the collector of Funkos. What a big, huge, beautiful store. I had no idea you could even personalize one. I will definitely return for Christmas gifts! 6/11/25

This place rules! Every employee I spoke to was so helpful and friendly, the props are on point for Hollywood & I could easily go bankrupt after a few hours in this wonderland. The selection is really so fun. They'll have characters that have been released in the past year, according to one employee. The supporting merchandise is just as fun as the Funko Pops & I didn't feel like it was overly expensive. If you're a fan of anything pop culture related you'll have a good time. A must if you're in the area. So fun.

    Selvyn C.

Do you love funko-pop you will fall in love with the store. They have everything you can think off. A must stop store you have to do.

    Wayne W.

This place is definitely my favorite! I was lucky enough to visit during Halloween which was even more of a treat since I collect horror Funkos. The life-sized and incredibly detailed figures are simply amazing! You can even get a Funko made of yourself! Friendly staff and lots of deals on funkos!

    Funko Reviews in Other Languages

    Ask the Community - Funko

Does Funko offer repairs or replacements for damaged or crooked heads on Funkos?

If you bought on line you would have to go through the website. For the store they will exchange or if you had the one made they will replace parts.

What is the cut-off time for creating the custom Funko Pops?

Hello! Pop! Yourself operates on a first come first serves basis, however, on a normal day, the Pop! Factory will cease operations about 15 minutes before closing.

    How's the Parking?

Park in the Arrive parking garage and they'll validate for 90 minutes with a purchase of $20 or more.

Hello! How far is this from the metro station/redline?

One block away from the Hollywood/Vine Station

There's very few options online. Is there more options to customize your own funko pop in store?

The in-store kiosks are loaded with options for your Funko! Tons! Plus accessories for each figure.

Are there more options for customization when making a funkopop in person versus online?

No, it's pretty much the same.

How long on average does it take to get through the whole store?

20-30 minutes. It's not a large store, but there is plenty of photo ops!

Is the Burbank Funko Store similar to the Hollywood Funko store?

Our Burbank location is our Home Office. There is no store in that location. Please visit our Hollywood Store for fun shopping and the Pop! Yourself experience!

Are you able to make your own funko at the Hollywood location?

Yes you are! I recommend getting there early as they only do a certain amount per day and it gets busy.

Do you need reservations to enter or not?

No not at all. It's busy inside but no reservations needed.

If you make a Custom Funko Pop do you have to wait until it is done or do they ship it out to you when you are done making them?

After you design and pay for your customized Funko Pop person, they will advise you to come pick it up at a specific time that same day. While you wait, you can shop around and check out the cool displays throughout the store.

Where can I park? Is there validation? Is there free parking?

There is a lot across the street on the corner that we paid to park in. Other than that there are several parking garages.

What time do you have to get there on the weekend in order to create a custom Funko Pop?

Get there before the store opens because the line gets long

    What's the cost of admission?

    There is no cost

How much does it cost for a custom funko pop.?

    $25 plus tax

For custom pops can I go off a picture or does the person have to be there in person?

You can go off a picture for custom pop. You go to a touchscreen and make a choice for each…

Where can we park with free validation? How long does it take to get our pop people? Hours to create pop people?

I'm not sure about free parking but we parked in the garage under the store. Create a pop usually will vary from 2-3 hours total time. But it can be longer if you come later or there is a lot of people that day.

Is there anywhere to see if the store is open? I drove 45 minutes yesterday just to be told the AC wasn't working so we couldn't go in but none of the social media pages have any updates on the situation?…

I found this phone number to call 213-462-3600

Can you build your own Funko there everyday now or is it still limited to just certain days/hours? How early should we show up on a weekday to get one made?

I recommend building your own funko on the weekdays because there's less people. As far as any limitations go, I don't think there's any, you can go anytime they're open and build your own funko. If you do go on a weekday, come 30 minutes before…

Can someone give me the directions of the parking garage please?

I parked in a neighborhood a few blocks away. I'm sorry, that's all I know.

We didn't know the family or child well, only that he was turning four and has an older brother. I purposely wanted to shop local and support an independent business, and a quick search on Yelp led me here. We arrived about an hour before closing on Saturday, which was great because parking meters end at 4pm and we found parking out front easily. We were greeted by an employee behind the desk as we walked in. She asked if there was anything she could help us find, and I let her know we were first time customers looking for a birthday gift with the details mentioned above. She let us know the layout of the store, her suggestions, but let us look freely. Over time more customers arrived with small children, and received the same courteous service. The store is clean and curated. I appreciated seeing well made toys and items inspiring imaginative play, rather than cheap plastic with distracting lights or sounds. I eventually chose a doctor play set as well as some items for my own children, such as animal figures and stamp markers. They offer free gift wrapping, which is a nice touch. The one alarming fact that stood out is that there were many empty storefronts on their block, so it's more important than ever to support our local economy. Their prices reflect investment in well made items, so I would not come here expecting big box store deals. In a world full of Target and Amazon, I would rather spend my money supporting a local, independent business. We had a great experience here and will definitely be back with our kids this holiday season.

The pop-up runs through August, and while the main focus is Sonic the Hedgehog, they also have merch from Persona and Yakuza. Going on a weekday with a friend was definitely the right move--we only had to wait a few minutes to get in. Upon entering, staff hands you a ticket, and employees closely monitor the room while you browse. The shop is exceptionally well-organized, making it fun to look through all the beautiful, high-quality items. Since almost everything is directly imported from Japan and hard to find in the U.S., the prices are definitely on the higher side, but the exclusivity makes it worth it. I couldn't resist picking up a miniature Shadow the Hedgehog plush! The only downside to the visit was the customer service at checkout. The two employees at the register were busy chatting with each other, so I eventually had to speak up to ask if I could check out. The employee who rang me up seemed annoyed by the interruption, skipped any friendly greetings or questions about my visit, and just handed over my item after scanning it. Despite that brief hiccup at the counter, the overall experience was super positive. It was so fun wearing my Sonic shirt, seeing all the Japanese exclusive merchandise, and taking in the atmosphere. Had I not known about this store and its location before visiting, I probably would not have entered the plaza. Upon entering, I was immediately greeted by Natalie one of the store owners. I then met with Alan, her husband and co-owner. Both were super personable, friendly and knowledgeable. I overheard them conversing about some of the products with other customers in the store. They really knew their product. The store was jampacked with products from floor to ceiling. I was overwhelmed with how much there was to see. There were so many different model kits to choose from (Pokemon, Bandai, Gundam, etc.). They also had figurines, model paint, books, stickers, Gundam decals, Book Nook and Wonderland items, Pokemon Mini Building Blocks, other building blocks, DVDs and other fun items. Everything was well stocked and neatly organized. I appreciated that most of the items were displayed behind glass so that you could see the actual product vs just looking at the picture on the box. Even though I am an adult, I felt like a kid in a candy store. I did not leave empty-handed. :) If you're looking for a wonderful brick and mortar hobby shop with Asian flair, I highly recommend this shop.

Really Great Store and Hidden Gem I shopped in years every time I visit Los Angeles…read more Staff there is very down to earth and kind. But this store has a variety of selection such as Chogokins, Gunpla, Prize Figs, Construction Kits, Etc... Prices there are very reasonable too, honestly, I prefer going to this store compared to places like Jungle or Robot4Less due to price reasons. I would absolutely recommend this store for those who are in the hobby or starting to get into a hobby.
