My friends and I chatted with them and it was heartwarming to hear about how much passion they have for what they do. Their service is extremely friendly and they even offered us sunscreen in case we didn't have. You can make reservations online and you're emailed a waiver to sign beforehand. The bookings are in blocks of 30min and it's $25 for an hour. Upon arrival, they have lockers for you to lock your stuff up and they'll teach you how to use the equipment and which route to take. Warning: it's very physical. You have to carry the paddle board on a short walk to the water, but it was heavy for some of my friends. We were newbies and it took us some time to get into the water and finally offshore, so just make sure you budget enough time. TLDR: Warning: paddleboarding is much more physical than it appears. The company maintains and tracks the credit for any packages you may have purchased. I have taken almost ten lessons with this company over the last 3 years and they honored credits from a package over a year ago. The event is more than just a kite surfing lesson. You get to go on a boat, you go to Stiltsville or wherever the wind is best and the area safest. You also get snacks and an adult beverage for the ride back. The total time is about 4 hours. I was able to get up on the board but wasn't able to get a run in longer than a few seconds. That all changed with SFKB. Not only did I break past that barrier, I was flying downwind in both directions. My first lesson with them was an absolute game changer Why is it so great to learn with SFKB? Wonderful staff and instructors, great equipment and a gorgeous boat to take you out to the riding spot. They took us out to Stiltsville, a giant sandbar with great wind, shallow water and calm waves. The location has so much room to ride in, and you don't have to dodge around a ton of people like you would on the beach. It's the best place I've been to to nail down the fundamentals and get comfortable riding. After two lessons, I'm getting even more comfortable riding up and downwind and am super close to being independent. Love this crew and can't wait to get back out on the water with them! ‍

We had a group of six and the pontoon was clean and worked perfectly. They have a Bluetooth speaker system on board the pontoon that paired well with our phone for music. I like the fact that It did not drain the battery as it is a separate unit. They have a well size cooler on board for you, so just bring ice and beverages and you are all set. Anyway we had a fun day going up and down the intercoastal and especially good time on the sandbar that Captain Mark told us to check out. Good time overall kayaking around mangroves and hanging out on raccoon island…read more You take a quick trip by boat to the kayaking spot out on the water (anchored platform), get a quick tutorial on how to operate the craft, then paddle around mangroves and hit two islands. Last island is home to raccoons who are pretty chill especially if you happen to have fruit or nuts. Staff were friendly and helpful going through the basics. As someone who had kayaked only a few times before, I didn't feel too challenged by the route. We also were running five minutes late, called in, and they were kind enough to hold the boat. Shout out Adam and Jose. Recommendations and tips: - If you're not a local, plan an extra half hour to get there due to bad Miami Beach traffic. - Wear bug spray and sunscreen. - Wear lighter clothing and sun protection (hat, sunglasses). We met our instructor, Maria, and her mom, who came along for the ride. Maria was awesome--happy, full of energy, and super easy to work with. Our original session was scheduled for Saturday, but when we arrived, the eFoil boards were having connectivity issues with their app. Maria apologized and said she'd check in with the shop owner to see if we could reschedule. In the meantime, she let us use paddleboards for free, so we still got to enjoy some time on the water. The next morning (Sunday), Maria texted to say everything was working again, so we headed back for a noon session--and it was an absolute blast. She even took some great videos of us out on the water. Definitely recommend booking a class with Maria!

Dropped in paddled around some decrepit boats moored right near super yachts. They rent you everything you need including waterproof telephone holder $5 rent $10 you own it. Owner or manager was very helpful. Equipment is inflatable only. I have never been on an inflatable until today, only epoxy. It is much lighter to walk with, that is the only plus over epoxy. They are hard to sup if any wind or bump vs epoxy. On this day it was 92 and super humid so only paddled about an hour. Time well spent. I bookmarked for next time I am in South Beach.
