I was offered water and quickly completed the necessary form. The waxing specialist was nice. She had an outstanding personality that made me really comfortable which is great since it's a fairly intimate service (depending on what you're there for). The facility was extremely well kept and clean. The only reason I didn't rate a full 5 stars is because I did discover a few spots hair was left when I got home. When paying the higher costs for the service, I wouldn't expect to find any missed patches and there were a few. Overall, I'd give them another try due to the friendly and comfortable atmosphere. If I walk away again with missed patches, at that point I'll explore other options for waxes but I'm optimistic that next go around will be better.

When I arrived for my appointment, I found the salon permanently closed and the door locked. After some digging, I saw a Facebook post stating the business had closed, but relying solely on a Facebook post is not sufficient when the booking system is still active and sending confirmation texts. As an out-of-town client, there was no way for me to know my appointment was no longer valid. No call, no text, no cancellation notice. This was not a casual appointment -- it was for a wedding -- and the lack of communication forced me to scramble at the last minute. If a business is closing, booked clients should be proactively notified and all booking systems disabled. This situation could have been avoided with basic communication. Thankfully, I was able to find another salon last minute -- Primp and Blow Chandler -- who completely saved the day. Five stars to them for stepping in on short notice and doing an amazing job.

It honestly made me realize that in the past I may have been given unnecessary units not out of malice, but lack of expertise. What I appreciated most is that she did not over-unit me or push extra product "just because." She was very intentional with placement and dosing. I had my treatment done in mid-November, and it's now January my face is still frozen with minimal movement, which speaks for itself when it comes to product quality and technique. The appointment itself was super quick and efficient, which I actually loved. This isn't a place with a million services it's more of an in-and-out, no-nonsense spot if you know what you want and want it done well. Perfect for a quick refresh without a long, drawn-out appointment. My cousin also had a great experience, and we both left really happy.
