It is really my fault for not booking ahead of the time but I just had an urge to cut my hair off today so I started my good ole Yelp search. I thought Belle Chasse area might be easier to get an appt than in CBD Area and I ran into Trendy Salon page. Called in and bam, got an appointment for 30 minutes later. It is located in a strip mall area so there are plenty of parking available. The owner told me there are two other girls working at the location but it was only herself today. She was so nice - I mean I feel like I got a hair cut from a long lost sister or something. She was very professional and communicative. As someone mentioned, she did exactly what I wanted. I usually walk out of a salon disappointed 90% of the time but today was not the case. The cut was $35 excluding tip which is like half of CBD price. I came in here for emergency cut but I might switch my hairstylist altogether. Highly Recommended!

I come here every month now to get those pesky greys covered, need to freshen up my cut, or even before a Mardi Gras ball to get my hair styled. I've seen Ms. Thu work her patience with children, men, and women of all ages and styles. Everyone seems to walk away quite happy, and I know so many of them are repeat customers. I typically call a day or two before and she'll get me in to her schedule, but you can also book out to keep on her calendar. I know that there have also been bridal parties and the like whom she has helped. Also, don't forget those eyebrows. The location is new (and beautiful!) but the salon has been around for a bit (formerly located on Lapalco). Nikki was running a special on infusion mini-facials for their grand opening. And while it wasn't relaxing as what she normally does, I definitely could see the difference in my skin. She is happy to consult with clients on whatever their skin needs are. The facial room is very relaxing and well decorated with a very comfy bed and low lights. The whole salon is beautifully renovated. There is parking in back but you enter through the front door...unless you need to use the ramp. Will definitely be back soon for Nikki's care.

I waited over 30 minutes for someone to show up- the shop was closed and no one in sight. No respect for my time! I don't know how you stay open if you don't even make it to customers' appointments. In no way shape or form is it anyway to conduct business. I would be ashamed to call this my business if I were you Lori! If there was a way to put no star I would have!
