I've had…read moremy hair and makeup done for weddings and events a few times, and this might have been my favorite that it ever turned out. Lauren did my makeup and Lyndsay did my hair. Both did a great job communicating and making sure they did what I had envisioned, while also complementing my skin tone. Lauren even asked for a picture of the dress to make sure the makeup coordinated with the color. They were both super nice and made us feel comfortable. The salon also had a nice atmosphere, and plenty of pretty spots to use for pictures! And one of the stylists' dog was there! My only criticism would be that every other time I've had makeup done for a wedding, they've given tiny sample sizes of the makeup used so we could touch up throughout the day because weddings are such long days, especially for the bridal party. Most of my makeup did stay pretty well except for the lip gloss, but it would've been nice to touch it up and have peace of mind.

I still cannot believe I paid the amount I did to spend 15 minutes in a chair to get airbrushed a completely different color than my skin tone. When she asked what I would like to be done with my make up I had specified 3 things I did not want and she did them all!! Not to mention when I left my face was a completely different color than my neck, and the make up felt as though it was caked and layered on to my skin. I am no make up pro, but I do know when applying foundation or lip stick you need a primer applied beforehand. She applied lip stick without any primer or even chapstick and 10 minutes after I left, my lips were already peeling. I had also mentioned to her that I have sensitive eyes and if I get powder in them my contacts will burn and water for the remainder of the day. Clearly disregarding what I said, she hit my eye with the eyeshadow and bronzer brush 3 times, because she was busy talking to someone the entire time she did my make up, and as I had mentioned, my eyes were irritated for the rest of the night. After leaving 3 people had mentioned how bad my make up was and couldn't believe that I paid $50 for that job. I had to go to someone for help with fixing my make up after I left!!! I am so disappointed and highly advise going elsewhere for make up application!! Suzette is extremely unprofessional and not up to date with make up application.

The masseuce applied the perfect amount of pressure and my husband said the same about his massage. The heated towels were wonderful. The relaxing spa music was wonderful. As soon as she started, the appointment arrived. Tech told her to return in thirty minutes. She layered the acrylic on quite thick. It looked like a turtle shell shape. I asked her to thin and shape it and she replied, "Next time tell the person that you want it thin at the beginning." That is not something one should have to request. It is part of getting acrylic nails. She begins filing it and shaping it and I realize she didn't do it correctly because she is rushing. For polish, I asked for French with a vee shape. Then, the appointment person came back in and the tech started rushing more. She did every nail on the first hand so crooked it looked asymmetrical. I pointed it out and she took it off and started again. Then the white polish was streaky with some areas not painted at all. Asked her to fix it. Then the edges weren't painted at all. She took a brush and painted the edges quickly, getting polish on my fingers. At that point I was just ready to go because clearly she was in a rush. It was not worth the cost and as a paying customer I've never had to ask a nail tech to do the job properly. View the photos and judge for yourself. I am NOT going back.
