Crazy good creme puffs.
King B.

Unexpectedly Popped in after a visit to Galley Hatch and was blown away by the visual look of the desserts. Omg, those creme puffs!!! They were all so good looking but all I've eaten so far was a chocolate topped creme puff and it was one of the best ive ever had. Yum. The staff was eager to help and were all very pleasant. The bakery looked very clean and had some cool other products to scan through as you waited.

Orange cake

We ordered the orange cake for my daughter's baby shower and it was fantastic. Beautiful and delicious. I have previously ordered carrot cake for a family birthday and it was outstanding. It was easy to order and pick up.

Super cute atmosphere and friendly staff! Very tasty breakfast! I has the egg sandwich and my husband had the burrito. Both were really good! They have a huge selection of pastries that I didn't try but they looked amazing! The cafe is inside the galley hatch restaurant.

Best blueberry muffins around!! It is such a nice environment to just sit and chat with friends. Also, great for take out baked goods.

The delightful scent of coffee was in the air and the staff were absolutely friendly as you approached the counter. Despite a buzz of patrons trickling in and ordering, the coffee was delivered to the table shortly after I sat. The staff obviously had a strong momentum going as I watched other tables being served just as quickly. Before I could even really start sipping on my piping hot Cafe Au Lait, I was served my salad and crepe. It was fun to watch how each person worked their station passionately. The lady preparing the crepes meticulously cleaned her station as she cooked. The staff on coffee were brewing away and sending cups out to diners. Other items were coming out from the back kitchen. They worked in unison like a well oiled machine. I definitely enjoyed my coffee. My salad was generous and hit the spot. The crepe was acceptable. Would I come back? Yeah, definitely my type of breakfast spot when visiting Portsmouth again. I definitely will try their croissants next time as well as check out their wine bar in the evenings!

So I get a large Chip's Tip sub and a few pastries for snacks. The bill was steep for what I got but I thought it would be worth it for my son to try the sub. After getting it, we split the sub and ate it in the car. Let me tell you that this was not the same steak tip I remembered. It was so bad, we tossed it in the garbage at the gas station next door. The steak was very tough and hard to chew - almost like the tips had been cooked earlier and then reheated for my order. Everything just seemed greasy. We also did not enjoy the raspberry turnover or yellow cream cannoli's we got for dessert. Maybe it was us or maybe it was the food but I will never go there again. We are not food snobs by any stretch of the imagination, and I rarely will say anything bad about a restaurant experience but we ended up going to Augusta's which is just a little bit down the road, for chicken just to erase this experience from our mouths. I know a lot of people will swear by their steak tip subs and that is great but it's just not for me anymore.
