This is a really nice park for an introvert who doesn't want to burn a day's worth of calories chasing her toddler around. It's super tiny with 4 regular parking spaces and one handicapped space. There is street parking outside the park (kind of). I initially had parked there, presumably behind others who were just siting in their cars and enjoying some peace and quiet (at the time my toddler was asleep and I couldn't find parking in the park). It has a little playground that was enough to keep my little guy entertained. He probably enjoyed watching the train pass by most, though. I appreciated going to the small lookout to see the Sound and mountains on this sunny day. There is a bit of a grassy area where I saw some people on blankets and basking in the sun. Further down were about 3 or 4 geese. My tip is to be careful where you step. Lots of little blueish turds are scattered in that area. I'd definitely come back here, especially now that the weather has been nice. Some people may be turned off by the limited views, the small space and limited parking, but that just means I can enjoy this park more. ;)

I'm always looking for facility rentals for my professional and personal life. I'm baffled about…read morehow I could miss this one! I had no idea it was there until I was invited to an event. It's tucked in a residential area so it's not surprising that I missed it. This is a good sized rental with different rooms. There is a spacious kitchen and a loading area nearby that makes it easy to get things in and out. Aside from a large room for seating, another room with gaming tables, and the gym, there's also a playground and ball field outside. Along with all of that, there was a staff member around to answer questions and assist. After the event, I immediately looked up rates and found them to be very reasonable. I wouldn't be surprised if I booked it for an event in the future. Parking is limited in proportion to the amount of people the facility and outdoor space. That's the only real downside I identified but that can be manageable.

It gets quite busy on a nice day. There are also ferries going by in the distance. If you go past the marina, there's an ice cream shop near by as well as several restaurants, and of course a little further is downtown Edmonds. There is a play area for the small kids along the path to the beach with picnic tables in the grassy area. If you have a stroller, there's a paved pathway to give easy access to the bench. There's a sandy area that can be used for volleyball - just bring a net and set it up! The dog park also provides a space for those with pets. There were sea lions when I visited, so that was pretty exciting! Small parking lot, but lots of street parking on Admiral Way.

There's sandy beach area for the little and big kids who want to make sand castles. Picnic benches to enjoy the views and a packed lunch if you like. No cigarettes, vaping or marijuana. There's even an area where you can clean the seafood you catch. The walkway around the marina extends a short distance so it's good to enjoy an outdoor walk with the seaside close.
