Poke bowl
John M.

I am a huge fan of Kazu Sushi Burrito, particularly their poke bowls. The staff was friendly enough and the location has an overall cool.enough ambiance to it. I have only tried their poke bowls and I have to say that Kazu Sushi Burrito makes an amazing poke bowl. So good, in fact, that I have never tried anything but their poke bowls at any of the Kazu Sushi Burrito locations that I have visited. I usually opt for the three proteins in their poke bowls and thus time I went with their pepper tuna, spicy tuna and salmon. I must say that I always find the tower of food pretty impressive when they load it with the toppings of my choice. It is definitely a filling and great meal. Overall, I would definitely recommend Kazu Sushi Burrito and I will give it an overall rating of five stars. They have multiple locations in the Jacksonville, Florida area and at least one location in Saint Augustine, Florida, so if you are up in that area, there should be one close to you.

Make ur own bowl- yum yum!

I've prob gotten sushi bowls from here a dozen times, and everytime my meal is delicious. I always like to make my own bowl and often choose salmon & spicy tuna, avocado, cucumbers, pineapple, seaweed salad, and rice. For the price it's plenty of food. The sushi & veggies are always fresh & there's tons of options to make it ur own. You can dine in or grab it to go and they do lots of delivery too.

My go to place to a cheap sushi poke bowl! They have pre-selected options but so always build my own. Endless amount of fish options, toppings and sauces. I'm partial to the bowls but you can also do burrito bowls, hibachi, and different side such as spring rolls. The place is also clean. I have never seen more than 3 tables filled up at a time which means no line, no matter what time of the day you go. They even do happy hour, I believe 4-6 where you get a free soft drink with purchase!

I used to come here all the time but had not been back in some months. When I returned yesterday, I was disappointed to find out that they took away military discount. Also the servings of protein seemed to be significantly smaller with a larger serving of rice... maybe it was just this time but it wasn't a nice return.

Poke Bowl with Tuna and Salmon

It's always empty when I come in here but I don't know why because the food is always fresh and delicious! Lots of menu options as well as the choice to build your own bowl or burrito. They also have regular sushi rolls and apps and other stuff that I have yet to try. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's very quiet inside and I wish they had outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

First time trying this place and I have to say the quality of the food is good!! I highly recommend adding poke sauce to your poke bowl for extra flavor (I had to ask for extra sauce bc it was pretty bland otherwise). The only reason I'm giving this place 3 stars is because I had a very small serving of salmon and steamed shrimp in my poke bowl which was slightly disappointing. My friends got sushi burritos and it seemed like they're a lot more generous with meats in the sushi burrito so you might want to opt for one of those instead of a poke bowl. After all, it looks like this place is known for their burritos!

This has been my go-to sushi burrito place since the day they opened. It is good for take out or a sit down meal. There is the option to choose one of their special burritos/bowls or you can build-your-own. They have an expansive bar that has almost any ingredient you could want in your burrito or bowl. The ingredients are consistently fresh. Plus, the burritos are wrapped in a way that doesn't cause them to fall apart. In addition, the employees are friendly and the service is always fast. This is a perfect place for a quick bite to eat at any of their locations.

Hnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggggggg..... The Kazu Sushi Burrito contains spicy tuna, salmon, shrimp tempura, avocado, cucumber, mango, tobiko (flying fish roe), tempura flakes, and shrimp sauce. It's super fresh, tasty, light, and jam-packed with nutrients. I especially like the mango in this mix. The texture is rather similar to a lot of sashimi, but the juice contrasts the soft umami of fish while adding sweetness. It's wrapped tightly enough that it doesn't fall apart too easily as long as you keep the paper on it. But it's also not so tight that it squishes the ingredients. It even had the ideal amount of rice. Good job....person I don't remember.

She also gave me directions to the restaurant because it was in a plaza and I wasn't from the area and didn't want to be late. The omakase experience here and the sake tasting was fantastic. Every dish was so precisely made and plated and we got tonwatch it all from the Chef'scounter. We were given explanations for everything we had that night and they made everything gluten-free because two of us that night were gluten-free. The omakase is in the back of the restaurant as well sectioned off from the main restaurant and bar. The space is beautiful and it even has and outdoors seating area with a large (maybe fake) Sakura tree. They made my birthday dinner very special and I appreciated that a lot. The sake tasting was also just as fantastic. The sommolier explained every sake and even let me take a quick photo of the bottle so I would be able to remember it. The Final dish was a gluten-free cheesecake. If I lived in JAX I would come here all the time. I highly recommend it! Everyone was great and all the food was fantastic.

We love dining from Sake House 2 because the staff is genuine and attentive to you. Excellent meals, superior quality and large portion sizes! We eat-in or go through Door Dash. They always cook the steak the way you want. If the door dash doesn't allow you to customize the order, you can call the restaurant and they will update and make it the way you want, such as without vegetables or without sesame seeds. Prices are exceptional. Dine-in lunch for Teriyaki ranges from $12-$14, (with chicken teriyaki is $12). Hibachi ranges from $12-$15. Dinner for Teriyaki ranges from $16-$24 (including 2x meat, like chicken and steak $24 and chicken teriyaki being $18. We don't like sushi, but they have an extensive number of sushi and put it on bamboo boat designs for how they serve at the restaurant. It's truly a work of art!

I got the spicy tuna roll and the Diablo roll. I LOVED the Diablo roll. The tuna roll was pretty boring- it's about half the size and about half the price. They're generous with the tuna, there's just not much going on besides that. So I would definitely recommend getting a specialty roll! Can't wait to try more in the future :)

When I first came in after the remodel I was skeptical, but day after day (hit after hit) Wasabi delivers. The food is AYCE and is made fresh to order. I'm a huge fan of nigiri so this is such a dea. Normally two pieces could easily be 5+ at another location. Don't like sushi? No worries! They have hibachi, tempur, soups, salad, dumplings. This is a great place to take people new to sushi who are discovering their preferences ( please consider the sweet potato sushi, it will be better than you anticipate). Please be warned, there is a price per sushi piece left behind. While I never seen the staff bring down the hammer, it is a clearly written rule. Also, if one person at the table orders AYCE then shares their food you will be charged for two AYCE (which makes sense). The interior is simple but the vibes are immaculate, super laid back and they often give small gifts during certain holidays. The AYCE is approx 16 dollars until 3, their dinner prices increase. Make sure to check their schedules times before heading over. (Try the salmon skin salad)
