I am a huge fan of Kazu Sushi Burrito, particularly their poke bowls. The staff was friendly enough and the location has an overall cool.enough ambiance to it. I have only tried their poke bowls and I have to say that Kazu Sushi Burrito makes an amazing poke bowl. So good, in fact, that I have never tried anything but their poke bowls at any of the Kazu Sushi Burrito locations that I have visited. I usually opt for the three proteins in their poke bowls and thus time I went with their pepper tuna, spicy tuna and salmon. I must say that I always find the tower of food pretty impressive when they load it with the toppings of my choice. It is definitely a filling and great meal. Overall, I would definitely recommend Kazu Sushi Burrito and I will give it an overall rating of five stars. They have multiple locations in the Jacksonville, Florida area and at least one location in Saint Augustine, Florida, so if you are up in that area, there should be one close to you. read more

If they put one in Orange Park, I would be broke! I love the fact that I can get a sushi burrito for about $12 and it fills me up rather than spending $11-$18 on two rolls and hungry an hour later. They also make bowls and salads. They have great protein options for their rolls, bowls and salads including tuna, spicy tuna, salmon, smoked salmon, krab, eel, chicken, tofu, steamed shrimp, and tempura shrimp. They then dozens of choices for toppings including: edamame, seaweed salad, avocado, corn, jalapenos, pineapple, cream cheese, tempura flakes, tobiko, wonton strips, mango, cucumber and many more. You can then add sauces such as eel sauce, spicy mayo or shrimp sauce. The choices are seriously endless! The staff is very nice, they are always welcoming and they are quick to put your meal together. The fish and toppings have always been fresh and I have never had an issue with quality. The store is clean and there is plenty of sitting with both high tops and regular tables. Definitely give them a try, you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend adding poke sauce to your poke bowl for extra flavor (I had to ask for extra sauce bc it was pretty bland otherwise). The only reason I'm giving this place 3 stars is because I had a very small serving of salmon and steamed shrimp in my poke bowl which was slightly disappointing. My friends got sushi burritos and it seemed like they're a lot more generous with meats in the sushi burrito so you might want to opt for one of those instead of a poke bowl. It's super fresh, tasty, light, and jam-packed with nutrients. I especially like the mango in this mix. The texture is rather similar to a lot of sashimi, but the juice contrasts the soft umami of fish while adding sweetness. It's wrapped tightly enough that it doesn't fall apart too easily as long as you keep the paper on it. But it's also not so tight that it squishes the ingredients. The inside of this place is very clean and so are the restrooms. The staff is not very friendly. We've been here twice now and on both occasions the staff has been very short with us and they look miserable. The food is great here! You really can't go wrong with any burrito on the menu. I usually get one of the named sushi burritos, with the original Kazu being my favorite. It's just the perfect mix of spicy fish and toppings and delicious sweet sauce.
