Quick service they make your burrito to order. They have sushi burrito or they can make poke bowls. Good place for a quick lunch grab. They have burritos you can order or you can make your own. Some burritos are deep fried too, to make it much more unhealthy.

Honestly, there's no frills attached to this place. It is very well laid out. You can either order a pre-established menu of a sushi burrito or a poke bowl and if you're not feeling like having anything pre-established then you can build your own. I chose to build my own. The guy serving me was super patient in my indecisiveness by overall it was really good. The price was also very reasonable. It was about $14 which is around what everything nowadays costs. It's about 45 minutes away from my house so I wouldn't say I'd be visiting often by if I'm around the area I think it's super cool that they also have a happy taste tea hour so a lot of your Boba teas are at a price deal.

For some reason, I left feeling like I could have done without this experience in my life. KAZU Sushi Burrito is one of those spots that you have to be a regular to fit in. At entry, I was confused where to order or what to order. I really wanted a rice bowl but I left with Kantsu chicken and Fried rice without vegetables. I observed others before I ordered and it is a made-to-order Poke or Sushi spot. HOWEVER the language barrier and lack of a simple greeting made it uncomfortable. The place smells like fried food and the smell hits you as you walk through the door. I would say if there is ventilation it's very poor bc the air was. stiff My recommendation is for this establishment to lead with the person that speaks the best English also offer a bowl of the day and pictures to help guide the experience.

Food was very good I ordered a dynamite sushi burrito. I didn't have any problems ordering, there are signs pointing you to the line for ordering. I won't have any problems coming back here.

You go up to the counter to order and watch them make your sushi burrito or Poke Bowl. I ordered the Spectrum roll with white rice that had *SPECTRUM TUNA, SALMON, BLACK PEPPER TUNA, AVOCADO, CUCUMBER, SHRIMP TEMPURA, SPICY KRAB, GRILLED CHICKEN, RED ONION CILANTRO, RED ONION, SPICY MAYO, WASABI MAYO. To that, I added edamame, mango, and another sauce at no extra charge. The black pepper tuna was a surprise and very good. I also ordered the clear soup which was flavorful. My friend ordered the bang bang shrimp with brown rice. (He should have ordered it in a bowl). Don't expect Bonefish Bang Bang shrimp but it was good and there were a lot of shrimp. We usually go to a sushi place directly across from this but wanted to try this and I'm glad we did. I would definitely come back!

Ok I'll admit I slept on the place, but now I have been awaken lol. I can't speak for a whole lot of things on the menu because I came here to specifically build my own poke bowl and I will definitely come here more often to do that. I was craving it and it was right on target in hitting the spot. They have sushi, bento boxes, burritos etc.. Ok my poke bowl: salad, spicy tuna, smoked tuna, seaweed salad, edamame, cilantro, hijiki salad, crunch garlic/onion/tempura flakes, topped off with a little eel sauce, shrimp sauce & poke sauce. Freaking delicious! I definitely will come here on the regular.

Great spot for a quick bite. I went with Kazu Sushi Bowl. I think next time I'll definitely try the nori burrito style. The bowl was a good size portion with a scoop of spicy tuna ( not my favorite mixture) and raw salmon. And the bowl was filled with warm white rice and topped with shredded cucumbers, avocado and a couple of shrimp tempura. Overall it was a tasty bowl just a little sriracha and shrimp sauce to finish it off. I loved the fact that they had a sauce station setup for all your extra flavor needs. We also tried the Kazu Fried rice with all the meats: shrimp, beef and chicken. Im mean how can you go wrong. We will be back to sample more.

I love coming to Sushi Burrito! The food is always fresh and is made right in front of you... sort of like a sushi Chipotle type of deal. I paid $15 which I feel like is a reasonable price for how much food you get. The establishment itself was very clean and inviting. I definitely recommend trying this restaurant if you haven't!!

I am a huge fan of this place. They have a great selection of toppings for your bowl and don't nickle and dime you by upcharging for a slew if items (though they do upcharge a few items). I also like the selection of their sushi. Everyone has tuna and salmon, but here they even offer peppered tuna (quite tasty and something I recommend). The staff is always friendly and service is prompt and fast. All in all, a great place to try if you are in the area.

Went here today for the first time. It was pretty good. My husband got the steak Habachi, I tried some of it. The meat was delicious with the sauce it had. The broccoli in it was also cooked very well, my husband appreciated it. I had a do it yourself sushi burrito. All ingredients in it tasted good as well. I also love the spicy Mayo sauce they have ready for you next to the soda machine.

Great concept! Overall, the price of my sushi burrito was very reasonable considering how HUGE this burrito is compared to a single order of a sushi roll. My first experience was very pleasant. When you first walk in, this small restaurant has a very minimalist decor. Not a lot of tables or chairs. It can get pretty crowded during lunch but most people take their food to-go. The sushi burritos are made right in front of you. They even have a build your own poke bowl. I ordered the Dynamite sushi burrito. Delicious, but I wasn't a fan of the tempura batter they used. It was too bland! I almost wanted to remove the breading cuz it subtracted from the amazing taste of the sushi itself. My suggestion? Add a pinch of salt and pepper! I was hoping the crunchy texture would sway my opinion a little more on the positive side but it didn't. The texture was good but the taste just wasn't there. The inside of that burrito is a different story. They nailed it! The dynamite sushi burrito had colossal amounts of the spicy crab, cream cheese, avocado, shrimp tempura etc. Makes me look down on regular sushi now for its minuscule size! (Jk I will love regular sushi no matter what). My friends had the Kazu sushi burrito which has spicy tuna and salmon as well as a customized poke bowl. Overall the food was great! Portion size was even better! Highly recommended.

Great service and great food . Got Sushi burrito I recommend get the 2 or 3 meat . That way you meat, veggies and sauces you want on it. App are fairly price and tasty. And plenty shrimp sauce to take. Overall great meal and good prices for the food.

One of the few places in Jacksonville that has quality sushi. Their fish is always fresh and tastes amazing! We have ordered because they are only doing takeout or pick up because of COVID. Even ordering out felt like dining in because of how fancy they made the plate look. I definitely miss having the chefs cook in front of me but you can't beat the quality of fish here!

The manager caught onto what was happening and did offer us a starter to compensate for that, which was nice. Unfortunately the service still felt lacking throughout. I saw my drink sit at the bar for quite a while while my husband sipped his beer. The server was super sweet, but not as attentive as I'd expect especially since it wasn't busy. The fish tasted fresh and mostly everything was really good. My favorites were the drama queen roll, the blood orange akami, and the truffle unagi roll. I wouldn't get the truffle enoki mushrooms again- the texture was off (chewy/stringy). The cocktail I got was the nori margarita and didn't feel it was anything special. The glass and straw it was served in was kind of throwing it off for me. I'd go a different drink route next time. I liked the vibe of the restaurant and felt like the ambience was great for date night. It had a sexy feel. I wish there was music or if there was I didn't notice it, because I could hear everything the table next to me was saying. They also brought a refreshing treat for my husband's birthday. We were bringing the whole family and hoping for a fun night, but unfortunately the experience didn't match the ratings. From the start, the tone felt off. When I called to make the reservation, the host immediately said, "We don't seat incomplete parties. We only wait 5 minutes or we give the table away." The policy itself is understandable, but the delivery came across harsh and unwelcoming. A more thoughtful approach like, "We kindly ask that your full party arrives within 5 minutes, otherwise we may need to seat other guests," would have felt very different. When we arrived early and asked if we could be seated sooner (with the rest of our party just minutes away), we were met with the same response again, which felt unnecessary given that there were several empty tables. Unfortunately, the service inside didn't improve. Our initial waiter was inattentive and at times dismissive. We had to ask for basic things like utensils and plates for shared appetizers, and the responses often came with an unwelcoming tone. At one point, when I asked for a plate and knife to share, the interaction became uncomfortable, and I ended up asking to speak with someone. The situation was handled poorly, and the waiter did not return. On the food side, I ordered the Massaman chicken curry at the lowest spice level, and it was still too spicy to enjoy. That said, most of my family did enjoy their meals, which I appreciated. Thankfully, a different waitress stepped in later and was kind and attentive--if the service had been like that from the beginning, the experience likely would have been very different. I also spoke with the manager, Jorge, who was receptive to the feedback and said he would address the issues, which I did appreciate. Overall, I was really disappointed given the strong reviews and the lively atmosphere happening around us. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I wouldn't return.

We started with the edamame, with the sea salt and truffle oil, which is always delicious. The service over the evening was very slow, and we spent a lot of time waiting on food. We sat in our favorite spot at the bar window so our server also appeared the be working behind the bar and was busy making drinks. We love sake and usually get a bottle of the Noble Arrow. We asked for a recommendation and the server recommended the Soul of the Sensei, which is $107 for the bottle. We were celebrating our 24th anniversary so we went for it. He said it was on the dry side, but we found it very unexpectedly sweet, almost like a moskato wine. It wasn't surprising when we read the back of the label and saw the flavor profile was all the way on the fruity side, with notes of Muscat grape. We definitely made a mistake by not tasting it first, so we ended up asking for a bag to take it home and ordered 2 glasses of the Noble Arrow. It was a disappointing start. Next we ordered the yellowtail carpaccio, which was very good, although the size of the fish pieces overall seemed smaller than usual. Everything we ordered over the evening was undeniably tasty, but small. We got the Usuzukuri salmon and when they brought it, they had the tuna carpaccio as well. The person who brought it said it was a gift. Later, we were charged $2 on the bill for the "gift." It's not much, but it's just that giving us a gift and then putting a charge on the bill for it was very strange. Overall, I still love the food at O-Ku, but this was not the best experience. We had gone there previously for our anniversary and they made it feel special. This time there wasn't any kind of recognition besides possibly the "gift" we had to pay extra for. And the service was so slow that we ended up drinking the bottle of sake we didn't like rather than waiting for another drink order. Every place will have its off nights, and this unfortunately seemed to be one of them. I would still recommend going there, because even though the portions are tiny and expensive, the taste is delicious.
