Great food and great service! Their sushi rolls are soo tasty I love to bring friends that are visiting here as they have soo many options to choose from no one goes without feeling satisfied!

Ginger salad and clear soup. Yummm

SIL brought us here after we were out shopping. It's right around the corner from where they live and they said it's their "Go To" sushi place nearby. I don't remember looking around much, must have been too hungry. Haha. But, it was a decent sized place. Good table space, we had a party of five. Quick friendly service! We arrived about 1pm on a Friday. Nice Lunch Specials! Good price for the amount of food you get, in my opinion. I got the Steak and Shrimp hibachi. Very flavorful! And I loved that the steak wasn't overcooked, I usually order medium. Shrimp was good, not rubbery. Veggies weren't soggy - just right. It came with clear soup and ginger salad, both yum. I also got a Spicy Krab roll (I told you I was hungry), I didn't taste the spicy much, maybe I'm just used to spice. It had crunchy dry stuff which I didn't care for, but it was still good. Mom had the Chicken Lunch Box with grilled vegetables, fried rice, and Philly Roll. She liked it, she even finished it, which is rare for her. Haha. I did help with some of her roll. All in all, I think it's worth checking out, especially during lunch time. Oh and just a heads up, I saw that gratuity was included in the bill. Not sure if that was because we had a larger party or if that's a norm, so just wanted to let you all know. The gratuity they added was less than what I would have chosen to give them, so you can add to it, if you like. But I thought you should know it might already be there. Happy eating!

Good food. Good specials Horrendous service. I really don't want to dwell on this, but it's a cute restaurant, and a great location and the food is good. and seems to be a good value. But when you combine it with how horrible the service was, and how bad of an attitude our waitress had, I don't know that anything makes up for that. I really got tired of asking for more of this or "hey remember we asked for that", it just felt like we were disturbing someone's day when we ask for shrimp sauce, which a squeeze bottle was on most every table, but ours (my point is, we're not asking for too much). The food was fine, but there are restaurants out there that seem to enjoy their customer, this just isn't one of them.

To keep it simple, I get the same thing every time. I get the New Orleans Rolls along with the Rainbow Rolls. They've been consistently good. The customer service has always been great and I love the dim lighting inside which gives it a relaxing type vibe. It's worth a visit!

Came in for lunch and was very pleased! Ordered the chicken box which was actually quite a bit of food - filled me up easily and was delicious. Service was quick though I think staff aren't particularly the friendliest, but definitely not a huge deterrent. Lots of seating inside - no wait for a Sunday afternoon. Plenty of parking since it's in a large shopping plaza. Overall would recommend!

It was ok. We got seated right away for lunch place was really nice on set up on how it looked. There was places like the restaurant looked like it was a work in progress. We had 3 rolls for lunch. Clear soup to start off. There was a good selection of rolls to choose from. When the platter came out, the rolls looked kind of small. It was ok. Just nothing to say yay! Wouldn't be my first choice for sushi.

We went in for lunch since we are dropping off my son for college! It is very close to UNF! The restaurant is small but fit a lot of tables! We got greeted right away and sat down! The decors is simple but yet comfortable! Both me and my husband ordered lunch box and I have steak and he got chicken! My son got the 3 sushi for the lunch special! The staff are friendly! Food came out super fast and they were yummy! My lunch box has salad (I opted for ginger dressing), California rolls (or u can choose Philly rolls), tempura veggies (or u can choose grilled veggies), fried rice (or u can choose white rice) and the steaks! The California rolls are very delicious and the tempura are very very good too and well seasoned! Fried rice are very yummy too! Steak are just right! Overall it is very good!

Second time coming back! I ordered take out again, but this time stuck to more simple rolls - Alaskan roll and spicy tuna roll, plus salmon sushi and chicken fried rice (to save for lunch for the next day). The Alaskan roll was good, nice and fresh. The spicy tuna roll was so much spicier than I was expecting so I wasn't the biggest fan (if you like pretty spicy food you would probably enjoy it!). The salmon sushi was yummy and buttery. The chicken fried rice reheated well with a wet paper towel over the top and hit the spot. Overall, after 2 tries at Sushi House 2, I think it's a solid 4. It feels wrong to give it a 5 when I haven't loved any meals, but I do want to try some more.

Squid Salad- Not that good. Would not recommend.

I just gotta say hats off to our server. She was so impressive. She was the hostess: taking temperatures, seating guests, taking phone calls. She was the server: taking orders, refilling waters, bussing tables, cashing guests out. And not once was I ever like "ugh my food is taking forever" or "man I wish I had more water". She was more on top of it tHan servers that do 1/4th her workload! She was a better server than I ever was thats for sure! So, now that I got my impressiveness out of the way. The food here was good. Not the best sushi I've ever had, but good! I'm just happy there's a sushi place that actually opened up so it definitely gets our business. We went to two others before coming here but they had signs saysing to call to order-yeah no. They lost us as customers. So thanks Sushi House for actually opening up! The shrimp tempura was very good! Not overly fried, so that's appreciated. Three skinny shrimp and some veggies. I do wish it were more shrimp, or at least fatter shrimp, but hey, at least it was yummy. My hubbs got the Spicy sashimi app-the menu says it's spicy but he was it wasn't and the cucumber mellows it's out. I'm not sure what that means as he never let me try his food -_- but I told him I'd add in his excerpt. Ha I got the squid salad and while the presentation was beautiful, the taste was very, blah. It tasted a little old maybe? As some of the squid pieces were hard. I just wouldn't recommend anyone get this. As for sushi I got the BMW, and east coast roll. I didn't think the BMW was that spicy, but I love spicy food. And the east coast was very mellow. I WAS able to snag a bite of my hubbs Hero roll which was VERY good! Probably our favorite! We will definitely come back for the excellent service. And the fact that it seems to be the only sushi place open during COVID. We are excited to try the other foods it has to offer!

I'll usually filter out restaurants by the average / amount of reviews and this was a top contender. Located inside an unassuming shopping plaza, we backed into a suitable parking spot and finally entered the legendary Sushi Bear. The first thing we instinctually noticed was an odd, chemical smell (hopefully cleaning product / hence the knocked off star) and some of the walls looked to be under renovation and partially covered with incoherent children's scribble, but no big deal. We were promptly sat and immediately served a complimentary holiday roll and clear soups which were both very tasty. Soon after, our order was taken and within minutes was brought to us which we quickly filled up on. The staff were VERY attentive and friendly. The food was excellent and I will 100% be returning here whenever I need another convenient sushi fix. Highly recommended for the area. - Lou Sassle
