The fact that this shop is located in the Rockrimmon area is a huge win, as there's nothing like it nearby. A great little spot for the neighborhood where it's located. Location was easy to find, open on a holiday (Labor Day), with a good selection of drinks as well as a food menu. Service was personable and friendly, and even the regulars in line with us made recommendations and conversation. We got the Raspberry Cheesecake Coldbrew (a featured special) and a hot chai latte (purported to be the best in town), at around $12. Both drinks were really tasty, and I like that the cold brew was balanced out by the flavored cold cream so it wasn't too bitter or too sweet. Whenever I try a new coffee shop, I usually order a cold brew with oat milk since it's a great way to judge the coffee itself. The flavor was good, but I was a little disappointed with the drink. My medium cold brew was filled more than halfway with ice and only had a splash of oat milk, so it felt like there wasn't much coffee for the price. After recently visiting another shop that used coffee ice cubes to keep the drink cold without watering it down, this one fell a bit short by comparison. The atmosphere was pleasant, and I'd be open to trying another drink in the future, but I hope the cold brew offers more value next time.
