I came here for The Struts concert. I loved the venue. It was a chilly May evening but they had heaters above which kept us comfortable all night. The band sounded great thanks to the acoustics. It was easy to get around and find a spot. It looks like they offer VIP tickets where a fan can watch from the top balcony area too. This must be a hot spot for fellow Yelpers because I ran into 4 elites that night :)

Stopped here one night while visiting KCMO. Our group decided to check it out as we just stumbled upon the area walking back to the hotel. I wish there was a live band, but there was a DJ on stage. There were a bunch of different bars to choose from. I think it's a little crazy for some of them to offer cover charges, we did not go into those. It's a great concept that I wish could be brought to the area I live in (the weather is not permitting to such a venue).

Kansas City was so completely unprepared for Wisconsin coming to town. Leinenkugel's KC put up a valiant effort. But with space for thousands of Badger fans in the complex, attendance pumped up by the following day's Packer/Chiefs game, they could not keep up with the demand for beer and food. There are 31 bars in the area according to the KC Live website, and about a dozen within the confines of this entertainment complex. Maybe 5 were actually open for the Badger game, and every one except Leinenkugel's had 1 bartender. The outdoor bar which could have served the crowd watching on the big screen did not open until the end of the game. In addition, the outdoor stage was set up for an event later that day. While the game was on the screen behind the stage, the screen was half covered by speaker stacks. It wasn't until sometime late in the game where someone thought to raise the screen above all the clutter. I understand it's not the home crowd, but from a business perspective I would have thought they'd have been better prepared for the onslaught of Wisconsin-level partying coming their way. We have to spend money to drink that beer. Especially when Googling "Badger Bars in KC" specifically lists Leinenkugel's as the place to be. This is a great venue, and we had a great time. I'm sure it's an asset to Kansas City. However, we only got to enjoy a fraction of the things offered there and what was available was swamped and we spent much of our time there waiting in line. Thanks to the bartender at the Pizza Bar for doing your best to keep the throng happy. We would have stayed there and watched the game, but not when the jukebox is playing instead of the TV. Although that decision probably shortened the line to the bathroom, which was nice.

The KC live block is so much fun! Lots of restaurants and great bars to hangout at for any mood your in! Want to dance and party hard? Go to Mosaic, PBR, Angels, or Shark Bar. Want to play games and chill? Go to pizza bar, No Other pub, Johnny's or Dubliner.

If you are the frat and sorority type that goes bar hopping and black out drunk, this is the place for you. And I'm dead serious. There are a bunch of bars and restaurants next to each other in a "Town Center" type feel with live bands every week during the summer. It's also 3 to 4 floors and the concerts are Free so it gets packed very quickly on the weekends. They show the US Soccer matches on the big screen here which is fantastic if you want to watch among thousands of people. I wouldn't recommend families coming here for a Saturday night dinner unless your goal is to drink and drink all night. Parking can be difficult for free concert nights, but try the garage by Constentino's!

With the ability to go bar hopping (alcohol in hand), it's definately a different feeling from Westport or other parts of town.

Even walking in, we weren't quite sure what to expect. The entrance is small, and you're greeted right away, which was a nice touch. Once inside, it's very dark with deep red lighting--almost like stepping into a cave. It took a moment for our eyes to adjust, but once they did, we immediately felt at ease. The space is cozy and perfectly aligned with its purpose: it's all about the jazz. The service was great--welcoming, attentive, and added to the overall experience without taking away from the music. And the music? Absolutely captivating. It pulls you in and transports you--you can't help but settle into the vibe and just enjoy the moment together. We went on a Monday, so there was plenty of seating, but I noticed there's also a lower level that likely accommodates larger weekend crowds. There's a solid drink menu and a small selection of food, but honestly, this isn't the place you come for a full meal. Come for the drinks, stay for the music, and soak in the atmosphere.

We've been to a lot of concerts there over the years and the building and bathrooms have never been so well taken care of. Just wanted to come on here and give the building staff a compliment. Incident Details: Time/Location: Saturday, May 16, 2026, at approximately 7:30 PM at the back entrance of T-Mobile Center during the UMKC graduation. What Happened: I exited and attempted to re-enter through the back entrance. I was stopped by security and told I could not re-enter. At the same time, I personally witnessed a white family being allowed to re-enter through that same entrance without issue. I was singled out and denied the same access granted to others. Escalation: When I asked to speak to a supervisor, my request was ignored by security. A KCPD officer on site then threatened me with arrest simply for asking for a supervisor. I was not disruptive, threatening, or violating any posted policy. Staff Involved: I do not have badge numbers or names. The security staff and KCPD officer involved can be identified via security camera footage from the back entrance at approximately 7:30 PM on May 16, 2026. I request that this footage be preserved immediately. My Concerns: Discrimination: Denying me re-entry while allowing a white family to re-enter is disparate treatment based on race. This violates Title II of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Missouri Human Rights Act §213.065 RSMo, which prohibit discrimination in places of public accommodation. Intimidation by Law Enforcement: Threatening arrest for requesting a supervisor is retaliatory and an abuse of authority. Premises Liability: Under Missouri law, T-Mobile Center has a duty to ensure its agents treat invitees lawfully and without discrimination. Requested Resolution: Immediate preservation and review of all security footage from the back entrance at approximately 7:30 PM on May 16, 2026. Identification of and investigation into the security staff and KCPD officer involved. Written response within 10 business days detailing findings and corrective actions, including anti-discrimination training. Written apology for the treatment I received at my son's graduation. Please confirm receipt of this complaint and that all relevant video and records will be retained pending investigation. This was my son's college graduation. No parent should be subjected to racism and police threats on a day meant for celebration. Michelle
