Getting repairs done can take a VERY long time and then getting a bill for twice the agreed upon price. Next you find out that the work is less than satisfactory and have to have it redone. Next time I will definitely get my work done by a Red Seal mechanic so it is done right! read more

We were having an issue with our slide while passing through KC. We phoned this service and asked if they could come to our campsite. He said he would be there by 5. At 6:30 pm he came rolling in with his daughter and grandson (in her car) and they proceeded to chase each other around our campsite while Dad was making his "service call". He was going to check our slide motor but said it was too hard to get to and would have to charge us $90 for the "service call". He did absolutely nothing and the whole situation just felt sketchy. I would like to say that if you are looking for a fair, honest mechanic, that's Dave at KC RV repair. He will come to you and get you up and running again. Why drop your rig off at some rip off place that will keep it for a month, or more, and shell out an untold fortune at the same time? Many people just write a bad review when they want to complain, but few take the time to say thanks for a job well done. I can speak from personal experience that Dave is a great guy and really cares. He is a busy guy because he is in demand. He is just one guy and is stretched pretty thin at times, but he is the hardest working guy in the biz. I would highly recommended Dave and KC RV repair services if you have work that he handles on your RV. read more

DO NOT USE THIS GUY!! I was having a problem with my AutoPark brake system leaking on my RV and decided to give this guy a try because he was mobile. He said he would be there sometime in the afternoon and he finally showed up around 7:30 at night. Imagine my surprise when he arrived in a small SUV with no tools, not a mobile RV vehicle. This should have been a red flag on my part! My bad. He inspected the AutoPark brake system for about 5 minutes and advised me that it was a hydraulic hose that was leaking. His cost to me for this diagnosis: $133.75. OK, so the next day I removed the hose and had one made at a hydraulic shop for $35. After installation the leak was as bad as ever and after thoroughly inspecting the system myself it appeared that it was coming out of the actuator. I called David at KC RV back to advise him of this and had to leave a voicemail and asked for a call back to see if he could repair it for me and work something out about the misdiagnosis. I never received a call back. After taking it to Westfall GM Truck repair facility in Kansas City it was determined that the leak was in fact a leaking seal on the actuator. They replaced the actuator and all is well now. I feel I was taken advantage by this guy at KC RV and that he was just out to make a quick buck from a supposedly unknowledgeable RVer. Use him at your own risk. Hopefully you won't get taken advantage of as I was. read more

Loved it!!My aunt just gave me her older RV which is still very nice but HAD some issues. I know nothing about rvs at all so i had to research so much and of course compare prices and such. Finally i came across mr. Earl !! Very polite on the phone..i probably sounded like a ditzy blond on the phone but he didnt judge me at all lol. He was Very polite, very humorous, and no doubt about it knew what he was doing. Out of all the companies i researched even out of state this Company gave me the best quote and came out on time and my rv now runs! Now im scared to drive it cuz its so big lol! Worst service ever. Charged $75 to come and give an estimate to repair our pop up camper. A few days go by and nothing and then they show up at 10pm! They are at out out house on a week night from 10pm -12am and then they leave and nothing had been done on the camper. The next day I text them and call them and finally I get a text back saying the quote I gave you of $375 is not right. That job is going to cost $700. As a favor though they lowered the cost to $500 even though we were already quoted $375. So I tell them I am going to hire someone else and I want the part back that they took off my camper. They took a part to have it repaired. David the owner says he will return it and refund our $75. Now getting the part back was a huge headache. Took a few days and a lot of texts and calling and then it was delivered to a neighbors house and the only refund was $10. Along the way David the owner even threatened to beat me up because I was texting and calling so much to get my part back. I'm friends with a local officer who lives down the road and he comes over a few times a day even if we aren't home and checks on things and will be here if they ever show up again. I have proof of the threat that was made. I have 2 small children one of which is autistic. I had planned to take them camping over July 4th weekend and I was not able to do so because of this. What I learned is always go to a reputable company. You might pay more but you won't be dealing with people like this. Unreliable and untrustworthy. read more

I had a stopped up RV toilet ( Had been sitting two days with liquid in it ) They arrived three hours late, walked in and flushed the toilet, (It had apparently dissolved the the stoppage from just sitting with fluid in it.) Charged me $150.00 dollars!! read more
