    dirty and $32,000

I liked a trailer on RV Trader they had for sale however, it was dirty and in awful shape cosmetically in the photos(see attached). Basically they never too the time to prepare it for sale, didn't take the time as the market is hot. I wrote the dealership: "$32K and you cant bother to clean the rig before you list it? WTH?" The Internet/ Marketing Director, Steven Flanagan wrote me back unapologetically: "I wanted to let you know that the 2022 Rockwood 2109S you inquired on is currently pending a sale. Let me know if you have any other questions" This dealership doesn't care about its image, or customers as long as sales are good. This message says to me : Take it or Leave it Well I'll leave it. It shows a basic lack of pride in the dealership...

We are absolutely impressed with Liberty RV. We searched many months to find the perfect rig for our upgrade. Bruce took the time to listen to our wants and needs. We got everything we wanted and do not feel like we settled. Shawn took the time to find us the best rate and had everything ready when agreed. FIVE gold stars all the way.

Our new Wildcat fifth wheel from Liberty RV! Thank you Kyle and Shawn!

We bought our travel trailer from Liberty RV in 2018. They were great to work with then and wonderful when we came back Jan 2022 to up grade to our fifth wheel. The day we looked Kyle listened to our must haves and found us the perfect fit. He even entertained our 1 year old so we could look at the models. When we went to pick it up both Kyle and Shawn took great care of us! Best prices, no bait and switch!

    Our new travel trailer

I purchased a new travel trailer from this dealer. The deal was fair and the trailer is great. This is a small, somewhat disorganized dealer, not big on paperwork, but I was treated very fair. They have low overhead so they don't charge any dealer prep, pdi, or doc fees. I came from out-of-town to buy the trailer, and the salesman, Kyle, answered all my questions, and sent photos when requested. George and the service dept made every effort to fix all my issues promptly. One happy customer!

I bought a new 2018 travel trailer from them in April of 2018 and have been living in it ever since because I am on the road for work. I started getting a very stagnant smell and thought it was my black tank. After repeated flushes and cleansers not fixing the problem I went on the hunt. After looking around I removed the access panel to get under the shower and realized that the p-valve had been cross threaded and had been leaking under the trailer for 9 months and had soaked and compacted the insulation and it was nasty. I realize that the dealer did not cause the issue but I contacted them and they told me to bring it in and it would only take a couple of days and I had them correct a few other issues. They had the trailer for 9 days and never contacted me once to let me know how it was going or when it would be ready. I didn't stress because I wanted it fixed correctly and I had a place to stay. I brought the trailer back and had waited to hook up the water due to extremely cold weather. After hooking up the water today I pulled off the access panel after I took a shower to make sure it wasn't leaking which it wasn't but then noticed that they had just shoved a handful of new insulation in the hole under the p-valve and after I felt around I could fell soaked and compacted insulation. So I know the stagnant smell is going to come back and the trailer will not be properly Insulated. I figured that after 9 days they would have dropped the bottom, dried it out, and remove all of the destroyed insulation and replace it all to get it back to how it should be but that was a huge mistake on my part. So all in all I'm going to call them tomorrow and give a small piece of my mind not that it will do any good and I have contacted Forest River to inform them of the situation and am patiently waiting a response. If you are going to purchase an RV or go to them for service I would advise against it because they are just a turn and burn joint with little to no reliability at all. I've attached photos of the "replaces insulation" and "fixed" caulking. Too add on when I got my trailer back I noticed that the thermostat was set at 90 degrees, needless to say when I when I went to use the propane tanks today "Surprise Surprise" both tanks were empty so it ended up costing me $51 to not get my trailer fixed.

I was scheduled for a Sealtech test and it took 2 1/2 weeks to complete from drop off to pick up. I was promised it would be tested and then got another call about testing soon and then a third call about testing soon. She sat for an entire week while the techs were at training and it was not relayed to the service office staff who schedules appointments. Then another four days before the test was completed and then nearly another week for repairs to be completed. Nate actually said to me "If I am being honest..." I said I hope you are always being honest with me. I was promised the rate of $99 per hour for labor and was charged $199 per hour which I did not notice until I got home and had a chance to look over the bill. My fault for not looking upon pick up, but I was in a hurry and I trust people in business to do better. Lesson learned. Also, I asked for a marker light to be repaired and that was not completed. Was offered a free drawer latch repair as Nate had "One of those sitting in his office desk" and that was not completed. I was told I needed a new back window as it was the probable cause of the leaking in the back wall, and no photos were sent from the Sealtech test to verify the accuracy. I was told pictures of everything would be sent. I had to call them back two days after being told about the window replacement to ask for the estimate of the window to be sent over along with the pictures from the test. Overall, I am not satisfied at all with my experience. I feel I was not an important customer and my needs were not met. Poor business is being done here! Unfortunately, I will not return to Unlimited RV for any servicing or future financing. They lost quite a bit of business as I would have brought my RV back to them for the next decade (9 years left on the loan) and beyond as they are located right in between my home and the storage lot for the RV.

Two words: Serve.Us!…read more That's exactly what we found upon inadvertently stumbling into Midwest RV. (Long story short: we flew from Ohio to Kansas to look at specific trailers with one of Midwest's "competitors" [loosely defined "competitor", in retrospect]. We learned things about each trailer only AFTER arriving and that would have likely kept us from making the trek. Frustrated, disappointed, and heading back to Ohio from a failed mission, we noted a trailer on Midwest RV's property and thought 'what the h*ll, we can always look.') Two words: Smart.Decision! It was 20 minutes to closing (ON A SATURDAY EVENING), and without missing a beat, one of their SERVE.US (v. sales) reps offered to open up the slides for us to better view the interior. We both hated accepting the offer that close to closing time, but otherwise a wasted trip AND what we had seen with the slides in looked really good. Next-level service: They offered to pull the trailer over to the building, hook it up to electric, and power on the a/c (it was a SUPER hot day). They suggested we go get a bite (with recommendation - the little place d'town was very good!), come back, and they'd leave it open for us to check out how well the a/c worked (and it did). Through calls and text we were able to negotiate a deal with Larry "Bighorn" (owner) on what we're very happy to have stumbled upon. Also, through calls and texts were we able to work with Larry to secure a transport* from Kansas to Michigan. *Rocky, was also nothing short of a kind, cautious and careful, professional. While there were some (unforeseen) issues that arose with the camper upon arrival and habitation (some rookie-owner, some mechanical), Larry was readily available to walk this rookie owner through both. One of the unforeseen issues required transport to a local dealer for repair. When that dealer was unable to return the trailer, two words: Larry.Bighorn. Upwards of one year after purchasing from Midwest RV, Larry was AGAIN able to be counted upon with the constant serve.us. that we'd come to know and appreciate. Not only was he able to locate another transporter for us, but Boyd was just as professional as all the others we'd come across orbiting Larry Bighorn. Midwest RV, Larry Bighorn - his staff, and the transports he was instrumental in arranging - have been nothing short of a timely, friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive group of business professionals with impeccable follow through and follow up. Perhaps evident, but I cannot say enough about the level of serve.us these folks have consistently doled out. This, coming from an individual with years in the service industry under her belt. (Or, said a with a bit more crass - a service snob; alternately, service witch with a 'b.')

We were home after a long stent in Nevada for my husbands work. We had a water leak in the back of the camper. We specifically wanted to get this fixed so, since we had time we scheduled an appointment. Along with other things like lights, electrical, outside kitchen and grey pipe needed some maintenance. They assess and say it totaled (the floor is damaged due to the water leak) we should get a new one... No, we don't want to do that. We have extended insurance which Helps. They say they identify the cause of the leak. They keep the camper for about a month maybe a bit longer. So we pick it up after they are done.. about $10,00 worth of work. My husband and I leave for another job.. we hook up, water starts spewing out of under our camper!! Fixed the leak? Identified the problem?? I think not. Long story short they "bypassed" the water heater and didn't even look at it. Nor did they hook it up to see if they fixed the issue! I WISH I would have taken pictures at its state when we got it back. Nails, towels, screws and dirt ALL OVER THE PLACE! Now, they want to say they did nothing wrong! You didn't do your job! Nor did you check your work so no you didn't break the water heater but you HALF ASSED YOUR JOB and didn't check to see if you actually fixed the problem. We also had a new leak in the bathroom sink where they didn't attach it securely.. they would have know that if they hooked it up again to water!! Don't use these people for maintenance on your Rv or TT. They won't even admit to doing a shit job. They paid for a maintenance man to come out and check it out. They should be responsible for everything but NO they won't take responsibility. So we are assed out money due to their negligence. This is what I got back.. this is $10,00 worth of work.

None of this was disclosed at the time of sale. Shortly after purchase, the floors began softening and rotting. Active leaks were found throughout the unit. A pest control professional confirmed it was uninhabitable due to excessive moisture and decay. During a conversation at the dealership, a manager accidentally read aloud from an internal inspection report -- clearly stating "bad seals" -- which Trailside never disclosed to us. That was the moment we realized: they knew. When we reached out to resolve the issue, Pat Baggette, Trailside's controller (who also happens to be a licensed attorney, though not listed as their legal counsel), responded by email stating that, due to our decision to involve third parties like the BBB, they were no longer willing to work toward an "amicable solution." We paid over $13,000 for a trailer that was unsafe and unfit for living. Trailside chose to walk away rather than make it right. If you're thinking about doing business with them -- don't. Get a third-party inspection. Record every interaction. And most importantly, don't trust their word.
