Finished my 3 month program here. My experience was great and easy. i started my classes as zoom meetings(for 2 months) and ended up needing to come in for my last month because people couldn't follow directions and keep up with the rules. As long as you come in on time, keep up with the payments, do AA meetings, you'll finish in the said time you're supposed to finish. The employees never gave me a hard time there. I was always on time with everything. My instructor, Marlene, was amazing and i actually learned a lot from her. Always a judge-free class with her. With that said, i recommend this place to anyone that needs to do classes, but i do hope to never go back haha read more

office staff is rude, i wish I can leave a separate review for the class because the class is great! On the other hand, the people in the front are not there to help you whatsoever. You can stand in front of the desk and they won't bother to look or say that they'll assist you in a minute. But God forbid I say "excuse me" to catch their attention, because they will answer you with such a rude and irritated response. And when trying to make a weekly payment; I don't know my student number fully and instead of helping me out. I get an exhaled under the breath remark that "next time I should know my number." then proceeds to enter my student number by looking up my name. Just completed a 3 month program for a dui. I really was not looking forward to a program lol. The program here was offered on zoom so that was a plus I got to do class and group in the comfort of my own home. Which made it easy since I have a restricted license. I'm glad I chose this facility over the others because even though they might be strict, they really do care for the students. Maria (receptionist) had to be the most helpful for my experience. People tend to base life off what they see... Let me just say they would be fools to judge so quickly. I entered this treatment program a little over 8 months ago. Refereed by my wonderful and concerned probation officer, I started this program skeptical and quite irritated. But It was the skeptical side of me that made it all work. Here at KC Services of Fullerton, they provided the correct tools and advice for me to accomplish whatever my goals were. I started with nothing to show for myself, no job, no car, I wasn't going to school, and my family relations were all but decent. Now here 8 months later, I did everything I set out to do, I sought out and held a full time job, I now have the vehicle I always wanted, not to mention that I'm a now full time student. After accomplishing thoughs goals the family tension diminished. What I'm trying to say is that this program really WORKS! The counselors do care and know where you've been, and the groups were so much fun, its like I was never in a class, but more like being in a group setting with all of your best friends, I never felt awkward or weird at any time. The tools and input the counselors give are golden, my best of times was with my counselors (Rolando and Ray). Gina's usually at the main desk to help with anything, but Maria's the real god send here, she was always there and ready to help me with anything. The director, MARY, was sweet and on top of all my progress. All in all just get your butts down here if your ready to change your life. They offer so many programs, I'm sure yours is just waiting to be discovered :D read more

Very educational, good life experience time went fast with teacher Rene overall very friendly and professional team, English and Spanish.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Everyone is rude at this location and even when you ask for information they don't give you all the information you actually need. For example, that enrollments are certain days only. My boyfriend called immediately days after given this court order and all they told him was the fee price when he asked for complete information. To top it off, they basically said that's not the truth when we told them this is what happened. Everyone juggles multiple responsibilities in a job and it's like they lack that ability here. Idc if you have to stop what you're doing to help someone. Isn't that your job? Seriously a horrible place. Rude, unprofessional, and seems like everyone here hates their job. I'm usually very understanding of anyone working but this place just crossed the line. Go somewhere else if you're able to. read more

I got to KC SERVICES on 12531 Harbor Blvd in Garden Grove. This is a very good place. The teachers are great. The manager Lou is super. He can work with you no matter what boat you are In. To help you get through this. If you got 4 or 6 or 9 months to do. Lou and everyone at this office will help you get through this and make this a good learning experience. I attended kc services and began enjoying my time there and thought maybe something good could come out of it which I shared with my counceler and my class. I also shared with my councelor that I hadnt worked in a year and was struggling to find a job, was there any way to get help with the steep fees they were charging me in addition to the money they receive from the courts for assigning me there. My councelor told me were to go and what to do. The next week I had forgotten my court card and my counceler let me bring it at the end of class to insure I had all my court cards turned in as required. Several more weeks went by when I had to miss a class as my niece who was visiting for the summer was bitten in the face by a dog and required plastic surgery so I had to stay overnight with her in the hospital. I went to class the next week and was informed I was kicked out. My counceler was absent that night but I stayed anyway and informed the office staff what had happened and that I had documentation. The next week I showed up with the documentation only to be told I was being kicked out for a different reason. That I didnt provide all my court cards. I explained that not only had I provided them I had to go to the extreme of having someone go out of their way to deliver my card at the end of my class to insure there was no discrepency in my record. My counceler was well aware of this and in fact arranged it but when I was explaining this he simply walked away. I wrote a letter to the owner of kc services and was ignored. I can only conclude that when they became aware I could not pay and would be asking for a fee waiver from the courts they were just waiting for an excuse to eliminate me. Regardless that in doing so would cause me such hardship and knowing I had followed every rule and even was enjoying and benefitting from the classes their greed and dishonesty would put me in such a life damaging position they disregarded all that, flat out lied about what had occured and ruined my life. This is not an entity with the betterment of society as their mission but the greedy, money hungry Organization who is using a valid need in our siciety to make money of the backs of a sect of society who is in great need of compassion and tolerance and only serves as a means to line their own pockets. They may have individual counselers who do care and make a difference in 1 or 2 attendees but for the majority if they cant make additional money on top of what the courts pay them they have no consciounce or etical standards about eliminating them by flat out lying. I am appaled as to the business practices not to mention the premis that their mission is to help a very needy sect of society whos very lives hang in the balance and these people are exploiting them further adding to the horrible treatment and lack of care being offered to a growing problem in our society. These places are a joke riding on the backs of the courts to eliminate this sect of our society as opposed to treating them for the disease they possess. Shame on us for allowing this to happen. Whats next the gas chamber? Its not much different! How bout we really help these people instead of just trying to make money off of them. Come on KCServices, the jig is up. Let someone whos sincere and really cares take over, you are making a sham of something truley needed. People die when you take away their last hope cause you cant sqeeze more money out of them. read more

This means so much to me as my drivers license and possible jail time was on the line and KC service was able to find an alternative for me. They truly mean well. My first impression was this is a shitty area, in a run down retail shopping center, I think some bicycle riders use this spot for drug deals, and it is accessible only by stairs ( challenging for me due to a broken leg). It doesn't get better inside until you start your classes. I can say I wasn't here under the normal circumstances but by the end I was sad to say goodbye. This probably the first time I ever attended the classes at kc services after I was caught by police officers with some dumb drug but after court they sent me here, sense the beginning I was first nervous cause I didn't know how it works I started in English but, I'd perfer Spanish and the counselor I met his name was Rene Osorio his knowledge helped me understand better what the drugs do help me stay away from bad people with the bad attentions I learned here all the bad drugs are just killing us little by little and hoe it affects my family. I learned alot from Kc Services and rate it a 5 stars they work with your schedule help u get where u need togo and best of all there friendliness I wanna thank Rene Osorio for his teachings and if you ask me it works and saves you from getting a record in your name and to prevent you from getting jobs later on cause it will stay on your record. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT REGISTER HERE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! The staff is great at KC Services WITH ONE EXCEPTION the Director who plays GOD with your DMV Driving privileges. Mary Arriano is a very unhappy person who's job it is to take as much money from you as possible gives you false hopes and information then behind your back she does everything possible to make your life miserable for her mistakes. I was told I had to drop the 9 month program for an 18 month program because of a 2nd DUI. Fine I messed up I'll deal with it. But she then approved that after 21 days they sent the court and DMV a notice that I failed to comply and that I was "dropped for no contact in over 21 days" This was BS not true at all I was doing what I was told to do by her staff via her instructions. Then when the Judge approved for me to run the first and second DUI concurrent, she said I had to pay to be transferred to the 18 month program. So I pay then they give me a transfer just to find out from the 18 month program that there is NO SUCH THING AS A TRANSFER, but KC Services wouldn't refund me my money because they are a scam. After this nightmare I get 3 month into the 18month program and the DMV notifies me that I can not get a restricted or Interlock Ignition Device because they received another notification from Mary Arriano stating that I failed to comply so I was dropped from the program. Upon receiving this notice the DMV gave me a hard 12 month total restriction! This woman is playing GOD with peoples livelihood. If I "FAILED TO COMPLY" why was I charged for a transfer that doesn't exist in the court or the DMV's eyes and why was I not refunded the money for the transfer? I'm telling you if you need to register for a first offender program DO NOT GO TO KC SERVICES unless you like being treated like scum by a lady who thumbs her nose in the air to all of those that she is supposed to "CARE & EDUCATE" for!!!! read more
