    Fish sandwich and corn nuggets
    Kaitlyn M.

On the hunt for corn nuggets I came across KC's Saloon. Just 7 miles west of the Nebraska Crossing in Ashland. Nice local vibes inside and friendly staff each time I've visited. The bloody mary has a nice kick to it. The corn nuggets are my favorite and staple every time I've gone. The kids burger is just the right size if you're not too hungry. If you're hungry the regular burger is nice and juicy. I loved the fish sandwich it was moist and just the right size. Highly recommend stopping by if you're out that way or just want to try a small town feel.

Drinks were made perfect. I had a deluxe cheeseburger. It was very good. Good stop. Staff was friendly. Had a really nice outdoor area.

Awesome small town bar. Service was great, albeit they were super busy with 1 bartender. Burger was out of this world! Highly recommend.

They skip your music that you pay for in the jukebox if it's not country, also refuse to refund you for skipped songs.

Agree with the other reviews, they have a great burger for the price that can't be beat. The beer was also priced right.

Where do I start... we ordered the Rueben dip as an appetizer and let me tell you. Chunks of corned beef mixed with deliciousness in every bite! Wowza! Even the table next to us heard us and ordered it! Loved it too! Then my hubbs ordered the Corned beef and Cabbage. Beautifully plated and they are not stingy! I ordered the Roast beef and I think I had a half a cow! And the flavors were explosive and it's not even the Fourth! Then we Had to get the cake-Guinness Chocolate Cake w/ Bailey's Irish Cream Frosting! It's a dense, semi sweet, not too much frosting indulgence of a cake. I recommend you wear your "fat pants". Just saying! #delicious

Red Rooster was rated by Yelp a year ago as having the best fried chicken in Nebraska. It was really that good! So I thought the best test of the new restaurant would be the fried chicken. I ordered the 4 piece with mashed potatoes and white gravy. Unfortunately it was disappointing. The breading was off and it was way too salty. On this night it was NOT the best fried chicken in Nebraska. The homemade white gravy was over-salted and tasted out of a jar, unlike the delicious homemade gravy Ron made when it was Red Rooster. Two people at our table said the same about the meatloaf and dark gravy. The gravy was also over-salted and it didn't taste homemade. Service was unusually clunky and we only saw one regular server. Everyone else was new. The decor in the Restaurant was different too. Not bad but just different. I'm hoping this was a one off experience because we really liked the Red Rooster. I'm not sure why the new owners of Route 77 made so many changes to a successful restaurant that was already working well. I hope they figure it out. Last night it was not worth the trip from Lincoln to Ceresco.

We're definitely excited to come back when the weather is nicer and fully enjoy everything. The food was good overall, I ordered the steak Bao Bun Tacos and thought they had good flavor, loved the fries. We were slightly disappointed with the service. Our server seemed to disappear quite a bit, and we found ourselves needing to flag down other staff members for help or questions. That said, the atmosphere alone makes it worth another visit, and we're looking forward to giving it another try!

These were sweet and salty. A unique find on a menu but would absolutely order again. We never thought about sweet loaded tots and decided we will try to replicate this at home. Before our meals came we ordered another drink. We ordered the $$$ in the banana stand and Helles . I love craft beers but sometimes when they come out a dark brown I'm unsure if I will like it or not. The $$$ in the banana stand tasted lighter than it looked and had the perfect subtle banana taste. My brother got the Helles and enjoyed it as well. For our meals we got the Steak Bao Buns and the Hot Honey Chicken sandwich. We split our meals so that we could try both. Both were absolutely delicious. We both agreed we would come back and order the exact thing we did today. The waitresses were working hard. You saw them constantly on the move. We were impressed with the service and the overall experience. They were pretty busy with the Husker Men's basketball game on the TVs, but they were doing a great job keeping up. If you are thinking about trying it, just do it.
