Scammer. Dont come here. Owner will try to scam you especially if he thinks you aren't a car person. Got my tire sensors fixed here and charged me $150 x 2. I come back a few months later for an oil change and I ask him to him to put air on my tires because the light was on and he tells me 3 of my tire sensors were out. He must have forgot that I just got them 'fixed' by him. I tell him that he replaced them for me and he 'checks' again and he tells me oops sorry sometimes the tire sensor checker 'sometime dont work'. Scumbag move, you can see in his eyes that he is thinking whether or not he can take advantage of someone he thinks doesn't know too much about cars. Dont trust this guy. read more

I came in because I was having trouble with my Mazda 3 I had went to another mechanic in Whittier who diagnosed it as my throttle body possibly being dirty so I came here to get a second opinion and I am not disappointed. This was the best car repair experience I've ever had. Kevin is a kind and honest guy. He doesn't try to trick you or up-sell you, like they do in so many other places. I had multiple repairs that I needed to make, but he told me which I could prioritize now and which ones I could hold off on until later and still safely drive my car. Prices are very reasonable. They charged me less than half the cost of what I was quoted at a big brand place. There's a pleasant waiting area with seats and shade and lots of potted plants. I brought my car here a couple of days ago and I already love this place. The owner Kevin has a friendly and honest personality you can't get anywhere else. The place is nice, there's plenty of room to park your vehicle and while your waiting, you can learn a thing or two about cars. They will tell you what's important to fix and won't try to rip you off. I went to a lot of different auto shops to look at my numerous check engine light codes. The first one was a specialist mechanic in German cars. They charged me a 100 bucks just to figure out what's wrong with it. Then half a year later I saved my money to go to a different shop, they tried getting me to pay for another diagnostic even though i had the codes in hand. Finally came here and they checked everything, replaced a few wire and hose, and that magically made all my codes went away, saved me $1000 worth of fixes that I didn't need in the first place and only charged me 20... wow was all I can say, this place is truly a gem, I highly recommend them. read more

Several months ago I bought 6 brand new spark plugs for Kevin to install and I was charged 65 dollars for his labor. My car had been feeling odd lately so I went to another auto repair shop to do a checkup. The mechanic mentioned that my spark plugs looked like they had not been changed for years. He showed me and I realized that Kevin the mechanic from a few months back stole my brand new plugs and replaced only only the non functioning ones with 2nd hand plugs that weren't even the ones I bought. Not only that, he charged me for it! I've been a loyal customer for a long time. I've only switched shops when I found out they moved but I am very displeased with his service and will not be returning. read more

I've been taking my cars to them since 2003/2004. My go to mechanic has always been Johnny. But sometimes when he's not there I'll deal with Kevin (owner). The crew they have are always honest and will never try to upsale you on anything that you don't need. They'll even show you the parts that needs to be replaced. I've read the the negative review on here and I know that the crew Kevin has now is not the same as before they moved to the new location. 5 STARS for services and maintenance provided on my old car for 19 years! Wow! My car is 99 Toyota Camry, current odometer is 420,000 miles and is still running well and passed smoke check. This wouldn't happen without Kevin's genius and detail oriented services performed on my car for 19 years. He is always very understanding about my financial hardship too. He always suggests me what's best for my car, fixing the real problems, not changing parts that're not needed to replace (like other places). He is very trust worthy, that's why I commute to his place even just for minor service. He never have any issue fixing any problems in my car, from the easiest (light bulb flickering quickly), hardest (jolted engine) and most confusing one (like weird sound from my newly installed radio antenna).
