For some time I have had problem with my right eye. I could not see it was like a gray vail over my eye. Made my appointment I'm very glad I did. Dr. Keamy gave me her professional advice and a plan. I'm Very Glad I chose her for this procedure. I was not nervous her whole office and the hospital were amazing the procedure last a few moments about 15-20 minutes. Had a follow up the next morning my vision was 20/35 a month later 20/20 after doing the one eye it was decided the left Eye was good and did not require surgery as initially thought. I had some fillers done by Dr. Keamy. She is incredibly skillful and made me look 5 years younger within 30 minutes. Nobody could tell I had anything done. People kept commenting on how well and rested I looked :) First of all Dr. Keamy is personable and spends a decent amount of time listening to the patient's concerns. Then she lays out a plan and discusses the details so that it's all transparent. Her hand is very light, you hardly feel any discomfort. Wow, I went after I had been struck in the eye and had been also dealing with dry eye. She had me use over the counter drops that I repeatedly informed her weren't helping. She had me come to the office a total of 6 times, and she never resolved my problem nor did she prescribe anything for dry eye relief. Many times that I was there I had very long waits, and Dr Keamy would get upset that her colleagues hadn't done what she expected to get done. Further, she would hurry through the appointments with me, and no resolutions ever came to fruition. Eventually, I went to MERSI. Problems immediately solved, and the staff is phenomenal. I feel very fortunate that I was referred to Keamy Eye & Laser Centre in Westborough for cataract surgery. From my first consultation, throughout two cataract surgeries and subsequent follow-up appointments, I found Dr Keamy and her entire staff to be informative and supportive. Prior to my first surgery, Dr. Keamy explained in "layman's terms" exactly what the surgery would entail. On the day of surgery I was extremely nervous, however, Dr Keamy put me at ease and the experience was far less stressful than I had anticipated. Not only is Dr. Keamy a skilled surgeon, she is also passionate about what she does. My vision is far better than I expected and I am extremely pleased with the outcome. Dr. Keamy has state of the art equipment and diagnosed me immediately with meibomian gland dysfunction which is blockage of the oil glands in my eyelids. My eyes stung and felt gritty most of the time. I had the lipi-flow procedure done and the grittiness is gone. I plan to have it done again. I still have stinging sometimes but with the home care Dr. Keamy prescribed, it is under control. Unfortunately lipi-flow is not covered by insurance. Insurance should pay for this, it is FDA approved. Dr. Keamy is wonderful and will be doing my cataract surgery when the time comes. read more
