Dr. Nguyen is the best optometrist I've ever seen. He's is kind, patient, and knowledgeable. I learned so much about my eyes just by going to one check up. He answered questions with a lot of helpful information and is very thorough. I haven't had to deal with the receptionists yet so I don't have much to add there. But I was seen immediately and did not need to wait for my appointment at all! Very glad I checked this place out! And will be going here from now on. read more

ALWAYS running 30-60 minutes behind. I have been seeing Dr. Nguyen for several years now. Unfortunately, it's time to say goodbye. He's great, but not worth the hassle I have to go through each time I'm there. They have no idea how much time is needed for his appointments and jam in lots of them back to back. I have never been in earlier than 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time, and have waited up to 50 minutes later. It's impossible to make an appointment with him if you have anything else to do in the day. You need to give a solid 75-90 minutes for an eye exam because you have to build in the wait time. It's ridiculous. On top of that, the receptionists/admin assistants at the desk are aloof and unfriendly. They are also disorganized and a bit clueless. The only reason I've made it this long is because Dr. Nguyen is great. Unfortunately, he's not good enough to counter everything else involved with going here. 5 stars for him, 0 for everything else=2 stars total read more

So on the plus side - Dr. Nguyen is simply the best eye doctor I've ever been to, and that includes Mass Eye & Ear. My eyes are a disaster and need a lot of care and feeding. Dr. Nguyen is the only doctor in my 30+ year history of messed-up eyes that has been able to "get it right" with my prescriptions. He's super patient and willing to try all kinds of tests and trial-and-error until he comes up with a solution. If you have anything out of the ordinary with your eyes, I highly recommend him. On the minus side - Dr. Nguyen's tenacity and perseverance when looking at issues comes at a price, and that's time. He spends so much time with me that it affects other customers' wait times. I've had a couple visits where I've had to wait 30 minutes, so I assume that this is the case for others as well. But to me the time sink is worth it because of the quality of the assessments. The weakest link here BY FAR has always been the receptionists. Over the years I've had several weird issues - One time the receptionist told me that the prescription I gave her over the phone "can't be right" even though I was literally reading the correction numbers on the boxes in front of me! They have gotten better over the years but are still a bit sloppy and disorganized. It's a shame because Dr. Nguyen is a 5-star doctor with 5-star equipment run by a 3-star staff. read more

I went after finally trying a vision plan & Westborough Eye Care was one network possibility. While most frame selections seem marketed to those who follow trends, there is one rack where selections are totally the opposite & the same price. The young woman assisting was knowledgeable & capable of answering about any limitations on my plan. I would recommend them to anyone needing prescription eye wear. read more

I had the eye exam with Doctor Khuong Nguyen on 04/09/18, and asked about taking my results, doctor and girls on reception promised me, that I can get it tomorrow. None of my calls, none of my visits didn't help me, I still don't have results and don't have enough information for making online order of my glasses. spent i think a good 3 weeks looking for a place to buy frames until i found this place right next door. selection-pretty vast and dwarfs many of the other optometrist in the area. one of the biggest varieties of brand name frames. staff-OK. got nothing bad to say or good. just bleh? dr nyugen is probably one of the best optometrist ive been too since like age 5. If you could make looking at eyes all day cool....well then touch'e dr nyugen. guy is thorough with his work unlike Hopkinton Eye (see my other review). also theres no pressure for upselling. lasik, crazy lenses. walked in and walked out and with some nice frames. read more

I went to this place for my eye care and contact lenses for several years until I moved out of state. I haven't found a better eye doctor since then. Dr. Nguyen is who I saw and he always made sure he did a thorough eye exam, addressed all concerns, and was just really good at what he does. On top of that, he was able to pinpoint a congenital optic pit in my eye where even opthalmologists I had seen in the past had been unable to. Had a terrible experience last year. I was going for an eye examination and contact lens fitting. I was rushed through every part of the examination and especially the contact lens fitting (and it was my first time with contacts in my life... not cool). Also I didn't know that you should have your contacts re-evaluated for fit after ordering them (they didn't do or recommend that). Receptionist was also very rude on the phone and in person. Optho department and shop down at Reliant is much better in terms of quality and personnel. read more

Funny, I had a good exam experience. Both regular and contact. Left with no prescriptions in hand and figured they would e-mail them. Took 2 plus months arguing with reception to get my contact lens rx. FYI: https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0116-prescription-glasses-and-contact-lenses They have to give your eye glass and contact prescriptions when you leave, it the law.I will not go back to this clinic. First time and last time customer. read more

Place is totally disorganized .just look behind the office desk files are piled up everywhere. Wait time is excessively long. Last couple of times I have been there they can't find my file or my glasses on order. There are better places then this one. read more

This is worst place on the earth. I wish I can give -ve ratings. Don't ever think to go to this place for your eye exam and/or to buy glasses. If you go for eye examination then you will not get your correct number and if you don't buy glasses from them they will trouble you by giving false information or false eye-number or even there voice will change from customer oriented to rude.
