Delicious authentic Spanish food and wonderful service! Everything we had was fantastic - wish we could've tried everything on the menu.

What a shame .... Unfortunately the owner (not the wife) is arrogant and with a lack of service, think he has a Michelin restaurant but quality went down so much.... Once order a Wagyu burger (Medium rare obviously). It was serve overcooked. They owner came and told me that the burger was ok and I refuse to accepted like that. He treat me like I never had any food in a year. What an asshole!!! Plus the Wagyu was as well bad Quality.... What a rude/arrogant individual. DO NOT GO. I will never go again . Food was good. Called ahead with large group and expressed that we had 1 hour to eat and be out of the restaurant- they guaranteed that this would not be a problem... they were wrong. Our dinner came out at the 1 hour mark and then we waited another hour and a half for our bills to come and be run. Appetizers were brought to the table that no one ordered and then were billed to multiple guests. The management offered no resolution as we all sat and missed our event that we were scheduled to attend. Definitely not a place to go if you have any expectations of being somewhere in a timely manner. Management offered nothing to the group as we sat outside and waited, and waited and waited for our tabs. Overall very disappointed being that the same request with the same group was made to an Italian restaurant in the same complex the day before and they delivered without any problem. read more

What can I say, hands down the best Spanish food I've ever had, the morcilla, the jamón cerrano, the queso manchego, the garbanzos con chorizo are out of this world!! But the paella is on another level, I almost ate the plate!! Jesus, what a paella!! Definitely will go back and definitely an excuse to go to Key Biscayne. The service was pretty good too, we were greeted by the owners and they couldn't have been nicer, I recommend this restaurant 100% and we will go back to have Don Fernando's cocido gallego in the winter time!! read more

Last time I was here was 8+ years ago, it's great to see a small restaurant like this survive and thrive. The food is great, we had the ham croquettes, foi gras, and braised oxtail risotto. The service was good and the food was great! Would recommend and will be back. Enjoy! read more

I just got here by accident and can't be more glad that I did! The food is amazing, the atmosphere is super warm and cozy and the owners are great hosts always keeping an eye on their guests making sure everything is on point. This place made me really mad. Valentine's Day morning my wife and daughter changed their mind and decided they wanted to go out for dinner while we were on vacation. So I spent an hour researching and calling around to a dozen places to find a reservation. Talked to a polite young hostess at KeBo and she says she has a reservation for us. Took all of my info (name, phone number, etc) and tells me our reservation is good. Showed up for dinner a few mins early and a very rude older gentleman tells me "we have no table for you!" I told him I spoke with a hostess and she took my information and he points to his clipboard and says "you aren't on the list and we have no tables." I get that a mix up occurred and I understand it was Valentine's Day. I just won't tolerate the rude condescending attitude and don't appreciate being blown off. Place looked dirty and was tucked away in a kinda grungy courtyard. We won't be back because of the rudeness but also because we found three other places that tried to help us the same night. read more

I hate leaving bad reviews but this merits a terrible one. We where staying at the ritz and opted to spend a little less on a meal. First we tried to order from delivery.com and they canceled our order. We called and placed it on the phone. To Our surprise the bill was 10 dollars more then it was online ( perhaps they canceled it for the price increase) we seriously would not have minded the extra charge until we opened the bag!! 5 mini shrimp for 14 dollars a salad with no dressing old avocado and dry chicken. Not only that we where hit with a 5 dollar delivery fee. I would have been happier with Dominos at that point the food was terrible and overpriced. If you're ever in the little town of Key Biscayne (near Miami) and are looking for a restaurant outside the hotels, this is the place to go! This is seriously one of the best tapas places I have ever been. Not only was the food fantastic, but the service was impeccable. The manager made us feel like we were old friends. The passion for the food and wine served at the restaurant was very apparent. We ordered the ham croquetas, patatas bravas, tortilla espanola, championes al jerez, cazuela mixta, and all were amazing. The dish that left us speechless, however, was the gambas al ajillo (shrimp in garlic and olive oil). Our only regret is that we didn't have bigger appetites to try more food! If I am ever back in Key Biscayne, I will be sure to visit this hidden gem again! read more

Food is good, not great. Service is lacking but during these times, can't judge a restaurant by its service. Today we had a sub par experience where we asked to sit outside and received a resounding "not possible" as too many upcoming reservations. Begrudgingly, sat inside while outside was no more than 50% full and had to endure 2 hours of annoying noise level from table next door. We complained about noise level and were reassured the noisy party was leaving. Half way through our meal, we again asked to sit outside as plenty of tables were open and again, received a condescending NO. When the owner was made aware, he feigned a "you should haves asked to move outside". And the kicker at the time of paying the bill, the restaurant included the tip and yet left the tip space open without saying tip was included. Oh, and the noisy table that was supposedly leaving was still there when we left, louder than ever. Not sure I will return. Spanish arrogance at its best. read more

This place is epic. One of the few places where the house wine is better than many. established brands. The pata negra is great, although I normally opt for the "jamon iberica Y queso manchego". Must have appetizer Lamb chops are awesome. The steaks are pretty good too, though not the best in town. This is a Spanish place so just listen to them in terms of their strengths on the menu and you'll be happy. read more

Five stars for the food... one star for the service... yes, I realize that averages out to a 3, but I am giving a 4 just in case the slow service was just due to an extraordinarily busy night. The paella was magnificent! Just loaded with seafood. My wife and I shared and there was a ton left over! I also got the meatball tapas appetizer and they were FANTASTIC! My daughter loves the creme catalan (Spanish creme brulee). Again, the service was a bit slow, but it's Key Biscayne... so slow service shouldn't bother you... but on this particular night, it was even slower than normal. read more

I have stopped going here because the service and food value for money has declined. My last two visits were disappointing. We ended up at this restaurant after our original plans fell through. So glad I came. It's tucked away in a plaza off of Crandon. We tried a lot of items on the menu and it was all DELICIOUS! The meatballs, the omelette, the shrimp, the chorizo, the croquetas, the jamón, the shishito peppers, the flounder, the vegetable risotto, the brazo gitano, the crema Catalana. The only two things I'll point out are that the shishito peppers were a lot spicier than I'm used to (but still really good) and the crema catalana was just okay. Everything else really was superb. The service was GREAT and the space was really cute. I'll definitely be returning. read more

Food was really good, better than expected. I ordered the oxtail stew and a side of vegetables. Price may be a bit more than I would have wanted to pay, but the oxtail was a decent size and melted like butter. The vegetables were a good add on to the entree. My wife had the cod fish and she said it was delicious. Our 1 year old ate the fish without any problem either. read more

Well definitely it is a wonderful eatery but portions are small and for one. They cater to your whims but it can get pricy. Don't walk in too hungry or you will need to order more foods..And the delish entres are more like appetizers . Wow ..hospitality is #1. read more

Loved this little spot we found quite by accident. Has a really nice outdoor patio in a mall area. The menu is extensive. For a late lunch before hitting the beach, we had several tapas - albondigas, shrimp and potatoes brava. All were excellent - and we are picky having had lots of these same dishes in Spain. Good (adjective carefully chosen) food, nice atmosphere, friendly service (waiters), prices somewhat in disproportion to the food served but in all fairness to the owners is Key Biscayne where the restaurant is located therefore most probably their cost of doing business is higher than normal as well. I became a regular by coincidence. Sometimes lunch. sometimes dinner. Kept visiting despite the owners continued neglect to acknowledge my presence (I would always arrive during the hours when the restaurant was empty which would be in my opinion where a customer's presence would most appreciated/noticed by a restaurant owner). I arrived yesterday at the usual time. Ordered my food, and a glass of wine. My son's delay extended the length of my stay longer than average. While waiting pulled out my computer to catch up with some work. Ordered desert, and another glass of wine. A family of six arrived, and I was asked to move to another table. I did so understanding of the situation (I was offered an apology, and I even joked saying that being asked to move didn't bothered me because I already felt like part of the restaurant's family). As time passed more people began to arrive (I was seating at a four people's table, and I was just one). Instead of being asked to move again (when the obvious time came) I was simply handed the check, and told by the restaurant owner that my table was needed. It was done in such a rude way that the person with whom I was having a telephone conversation (at the time I was asked to pay) asked me if I had just been told to leave the restaurant. I shared my experience with my son when he joined me. Then with my wife. I will share it today with my employees. My goal is to highlight the need to treat all customers with the same respect despite their appearance. I am as Cuban as they come but the color of my skin contradicts the stereotype (I would be naive not recognizing that if I looked differently I would not have been given the same treatment). One of my sons love to cook. I hope he chooses to stay within my line of business but if one day he decides to open a restaurant at least he learned that if a patron needs to be moved to a different table he or his staff needs to do it in such a way that the customer doesn't end up feeling offended (and as a consequence lost). All it would have taken in my case was perhaps another apology, and a glass of wine. I would have kept ordering until my son arrived, and then I would have ordered my son dinner. The restaurant would have made money from me again, and I would have kept coming (I will for sure miss dinning there while waiting for my son to come). read more

If you are in the Miami, Key Biscayne or surrounding area, you have to come and try this amazing Spanish gem! First and foremost, the service is absolutely incredible. My husband and I were waited on hand and foot the entire evening that we ate here. We decided to have several tapas the entire night and each dish was distinctly delicious. The food is fresh, authentic and prepared with love. My husband 's grandfather is from Spain and this amazing food brought back beautiful memories of his childhood of eating traditional food that his grandfather used to prepare. I started coming here when they first opened their expanded location a few months ago and I quickly became a frequent customer. I loved it and it quickly became a favorite go to. Tonight, however, the food was rather disappointing. It is also perplexing when a restaurant starts out great, good price point for what you get, and then they JACK up prices big time after they have had a successful opening. Some items went up by as much as $4!!! My son ordered the lamb chops- totally over cooked and tough. They were the tiniest lamb chops I've ever seen!! The flounder dish was meh, chewy and tasteless. Ham Croquettes were stellar as usual, but 4 tiny croquettes are now $9. Albondigas are excellent. Luckily, they still have my fave bottle of Albariño for $20!! A dinner that left me wanting more for myself and my 10 year old cost me $87 with tip. We did not even order dessert. read more
