So my overall experience is worthy of 3 stars for now. I will go back and give the place another shot as the food was really good, but the 3 star experience comes from the service. Now I know we were big party, but it took over an hour to get our food. Not even the soup that comes with the lunch special had come out. Service was disappointing. Now the food was great! When it finally came out I dove into a wonderful lunch special of two selections of ceviche and arroz de Marisco. Both were really good! Everything fresh and it was a lot too. Their menu has Peruvian food covered hence why I'll give this place a shot again.

We stopped by here because it has free parking out back and we love Peruvian cuisine. The tiradito was was tasty and great presentation. The tacu tacu de lomos presentation was nice, the tacu tacu was delicious, however the meat was a little chewy for our taste. The suspiro was tasty but was too cold to enjoy the full taste. Overall the service was okay. We'll have to stop by another time for another try.

We live one block from this restaurant and we always said we were going to try it but we always see it empty so we were always doubting. I love ceviche to be honest so when some friends were there we decided to meet them and give it a try. We ordered the mixed ceviche and the shrimp soup... We hate to say that none of them were good. The ceviche looked it was prepared minutes before bringing to the table because the fish was completely hard to eat. I wish they would have tell me they didn't have it available I would have ordered something else. I was ashamed to return it since our friends said their rice and potatoes were good and it was the first time going out with them. My stomach was hurting for hours afterwards. The shrimp soup was imposible to eat. The shrimp were not peeled so we have to grab them with our hands and un peeled them and put them back in the soup. Not enjoyable at all. Plus the shrimps were over cooked/really hard to chew. Service was good but unfortunately the food is a no no. Sorry guys :(

The lomo was so tender and full of flavor and the arroz chaufa de marisco was unbelievable! Beautiful presentation. Homey comfort food. Definitely coming back!!

Best lomo saltado I've ever had. Great Peruvian food, bit pricey but worth it. Tried a few Peruvian beers, waiter was really nice and recommending plates. An overall good meal and experience.

Food is overpriced. flavor is not authentic, the owner screams at their employees, the cleanup of the place is not the best.

Champagne…read morewas served as soon as we were seated, and we were also treated to a complimentary baba ghanoush, which was excellent. We started with the bone marrow appetizer, and it was truly outstanding -- incredibly balanced, rich without being overwhelming, and so good we couldn't stop talking about it. We ordered the steak and eggs. The crunchy brioche, earthy mushroom purée, and beautifully sliced steak came together perfectly, and the saltiness of the caviar tied everything together in a really thoughtful way. The picanha was another standout! incredibly tender and full of flavor. We paired it with the broccolini and wagyu fat potatoes, both of which were absolutely delicious. To finish, we shared the ube cheesecake empanada. We were a bit hesitant at first, but it turned out to be the perfect ending to an already fantastic meal. The cocktails throughout the night were also excellent. We enjoyed the restaurant so much that we brought friends back later the same week. That visit was just as impressive -- we ordered the tomahawk steak, garden salad, bone marrow (again!), steak and eggs, truffle fries, broccolini, carrots, and tried all of the desserts. Once again, everything was delicious across the board. The only area for improvement would be the service. Everyone was kind and attentive, but at times too quick to clear plates and not proactive enough with the next course. At a restaurant of this caliber, I'd expect the dessert menu to be offered immediately after plates are cleared, rather than needing to track down a server. Overall, the food is exceptional, and we'll absolutely be back.

We ordered the shrimp tacos and "Arsenio's Favorite Burrito," and I have to tell you, you can taste the freshness of all the ingredients layered together. The shrimp taco was literally too much to hold in one tortilla, served with a side of pico de gallo and their homemade sauce--spectacular! The burrito, lord have mercy, had two cheeses melted on top and was filled with shrimp, fish, and rice. It was mind-boggling; each bite felt like a taste of the sea. They really outdid themselves with this one, and I can see why it's a favorite. From the simple fish empanadas to the whole fried snapper, everything is delicious. Their seafood soup and conch soup are absolute must-try items for me; just writing this makes me crave them. If you order the fried shrimp or fish pieces, make sure to get the sauce as well. It's a great spot for healthy eating or for pescatarians since they only serve seafood. The service is straightforward: you just stand in line to order. While it isn't always packed, there are days with long lines and heavy wait times, but the staff tries to be fast and efficient. As for the ambiance, the restaurant is located in the heart of Allapattah. It features outdoor seating and smells of the sea; it might not look like much, but I guarantee the food is out of this world. You won't find another place like this with such fresh ingredients and amazing flavors. I will recommend this to my children and grandchildren, and I hope my entire legacy continues this tradition.
