I was a new customer and went in for a simple oil change, which they did and that was fine but...I was told at checkout that several items should be addressed one of which was to clean my battery terminals which I had just checked myself just several days before the oil change and there was/is no issue with the terminals at all, in other words, they do not need cleaning but they wanted $59.99 to actually do nothing. I understand the "affordable" price for the oil change is merely a tactic to find something bigger but at least be honest about it. They claim it was just a suggestion which it clearly was not as they had given me a slip stating I declined to have it done (along with the other items) why would I decline and it be noted if it was jus a suggestion. I would have paid for nothing because there was nothing to be done. Never again. Beware. read more

Cheaper isn't always better. Keep getting flyers in the mail about this business and thought I'd give them a try. Needed an oil change, tires rotated, state inspection and a tire looked at that slowly loses air over time. Called on a Tuesday for an appointment for the following Tuesday. I was told they were booked, but they could do Thursday or Friday. I picked Thursday and dropped the car off on Wednesday afternoon. I called at 3:15pm on Thursday to see if the car was ready, I was told they just brough the car in. At 5pm I get a call the car needs a ball joint. No problem I was ok with that. I asked for them to call me when ready on Friday. They told me they could not do the ball joint until Monday November 18th! That does not work with my schedule. I've had vehicles for 50 years and if it needed work, it was done that day or the next. Also, the car was there in the morning but did not start on it until just about the end of the day. Also $40 to look at the leaky tire, not sure what they did, did not say on the slip. Gave it a shot but won't be back. read more

I went in for a "special" coupon offer to optimize my vehicle and check all fluids (and top off all fluids including coolant). Upon picking up my car, I checked the fluid levels and the coolant level was still low and hadn't been touched. Extremely disappointing to sell customers on a service they did not actually perform. Only gave 2 stars because they are generally friendly - but will be taking my business elsewhere as when I explained what happened, there was no attempt to make things right - just an empty apology for the oversight. read more

Took a day off to get my car fixed, keegan was supposed to pick up me and my car (never showed) when I called they said "it was a crazy day" a few days later they had the car and coupon I received in the mail from them. I asked for a loaner car (on their flyer they say they are available) they said "we don't have any) when I picked the car the car up they said they wouldn't honor the coupon because I already had "special pricing" Long story short: they are con artists, promising everything and delivering little. read more

Buyer beware. Had a negative experience with them and will never go back. Spent $600 for three small jobs that weren't completed properly, had to call the owner and he came and picked up my truck to make it right. I respect Mike Keegan for this but I can't trust his employees to do it right the first time and charge me reasonable money. Find another shop to spend your hard earned dollars. read more

I have been going here for my oil changes and regular maintenance for a few years, and some of my family have had their cars here for more extensive repairs. Their prices are reasonable (my oil change costs me less than Jiffy Lube). They used have some issues with getting the work done in the promised time, as a reviewer from a few years ago noted. I think that may have been due to staffing shortages. I haven't had any problems with that more recently, and I've noticed there are some new personnel there now. They also did a remodel which has dramatically improved their waiting area. Keegan is a reputable family run business and has more of a personal touch than other auto repair places I have been. The owner seems to care about keeping customers happy and correcting any issues brought to his attention. I definitely recommend! read more

My father had a check engine light due to an exhaust leak. Mike diagnosed the issue as a faulty coil in the engine. He replaced a coil that wasn't even having an issue with a $40 dollar aftermarket coil and charged my father $250 for the part. Check engine light came back on and my father took the car back. Mike said it came on because of the temperature difference between the morning and night time. He cleared the code and of course, the light came back on the next day. We took the car to the Ford dealership and they fixed the issue. They replaced the faulty aftermarket coil with a Ford Motorcraft coil for $150 and tightened the loose exhaust clamp that was causing the o2 sensor code. Stay away from these people. Service was anything but 5 star. read more

Nice folks? Yes. Professional? Yes. Clean environment? Pretty much. Fair pricing and timing? Not so much. Our first and only experience with Keegan wasn't the best. Although we had an appointment scheduled and were told they were "wide open" when we scheduled, our car wasn't looked at until afternoon, though we had dropped it off the day before, thus making a simple job extend into a second business day. I have some experience in this industry, and Keegan is the first and only place I have seen or been to who charges both to examine a car and perform work. Usually, if a car is examined and you don't do the work, you pay for that time, but if you do, the charge to examine is credited toward the service. We were charged for both. We were also charged for the exam of a different component which we feel never occurred. The reason for this was a professional, polite call from the owner. We had issues with the tire pressure sensors. When Mike called, he asked "which two tires were you having problems with again?", and immediately quoted a price. If he did not know which tires we were inquiring about, he couldn't have checked them, yet charged some $66 for a "diagnosis". Good people, but we won't return because there were just too many questions left in our minds. read more

Have been going here few years. Has never been great with customer service, latley worse than ever. Drop my vehicles off give you time it will be ready, never on time. They not only run late but call 10 minutes before closing to inform you they're done. By late I mean by hours, last 2 vechiles I Ieft for scheduled routine work, told few hours both took 2 days to complete. No apology just excuses, they never started working on cars until late in the afternoon, I know because went by to check on pick up not even moved from where I parked, droped off night before. Unless you can leave your car for a few days wouldn't go there for more than an oil change. To bad mechanics work is good. Better service at jiffy lube. To expensive, very unorganized, in the end to frustrating to work with. read more

Caught them about a half hour before closing for an inspection ($40). They were very nice and had it done in about a half hour. No complaints although I understand you can find somewhere to do the inspection for less. read more

my experience with mike was the best! Was having the worst time getting anyone to put a trailer hitch on my hummer. I called mike and we set up a time. Within days I was able to get an appointment! mike had to special ordered the parts and the hummer was dropped off. the same day got a call that everything went great and I could pick up vehicle. I know this all sounds standard, but it was the customer service that makes me want to give a review. Mike not only on the phone was understanding and not quick to get me off the phone he listened to what I said and made me feel at ease that this was going to get done. after a phone call and a text I went to pick up my vehicle and saw the hitch and electrical job and it could have been more professionally done! I walked into the shop greeted by mike with a smile asked if I was able to look at the hitch and was everything what I thought it would be. I couldn't have been happier, with this whole experience and it important to let people know. one other fact was that i went to 3 different places and mike was the BEST price. thank you mike for getting us out on the water with our boat! see you soon for second hitch! if you are looking for a hitch and are looking for the best price then look no further! read more
