    This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with a mechanic. I was referred to this place…read moreby my companies Fleet Manager so I called before towing my car over to them and they told me that the soonest appointment they had was 6 days from the day I was calling - totally fine. I called at the end of the day on the day they said I had an appointment and they said they didn't have time to look at it that day but would look at it in the morning. Annoying but ok. I called towards the end of the next day and they told me that they were busy and couldn't look at it. When I explained that they had said I had an appointment he gave me an attitude and said well you can just tow it back off if you don't like it and honestly with the way this conversation is going I would prefer that. I tried to deescalate the situation and then hung up and my father called to check in assuming that it was because I was a woman they were pushing me around and when my dad said he didn't appreciate the way he talked to me he said I am going to push the car off my lot and you can just deal with it. Then we received word that if we did not get the car from where he pushed it too by 8pm they would tow it themselves. Absolutely ridiculous that instead of taking accountability for the fact that they were pushing us around they resorted to such extreme measures. NEVER bring your car here if you plan on having it looked at in any type of timely fashion.

Andrew and Angelena (nina) went above and beyond to ensure that the process of getting my minivan fixed was done at the highest quality with great attention to detail!!! Andrew and Nina communicated with me through every step of the process ensuring that I was taken care of and that my interests as their customer was put first and foremost before anything. Even when the insurance company put hurdles in the way, Andrew, Nina, and their entire team made sure that I was protected and given the absolute best service available. Beyond the excellent service, honesty, integrity in the process, and consistent and constant communication, they also helped with other things like arranging the pickup and drop off of the rental vehicle. Experiencing an accident and dealing with insurance companies isn't easy and so I am grateful and understand its priceless in having people like Andrew, Nina, and the entire team at Caliber by your side! If I ever need service in the future I will definitely be going to Caliber in Middletown!

    I was involved in a deer collision the first week of November 2025, and my Jeep Compass was towed…read morethe next day to Caliber Collision in Middletown. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely frustrating and remains unresolved. When I picked up my vehicle in December 2025 (late evening), I immediately noticed the Auto Start-Stop warning light was on. I informed Caliber at that time and was told it was a dealership issue. I asked if they could double-check the vehicle before I took it off the lot, but days later I was again advised to contact the dealership. The dealership later confirmed there were no Start-Stop system issues, replaced the main battery, and advised me to return to Caliber because a hood sensor alert was showing on their diagnostics. Since then, I've noticed numerous repair quality issues that should not be present after a collision repair: * Visible gaps and misalignment between the hood, fender, bumper, and lamp area * Front bumper not aligned properly with the fender * Paint was not blended on one side, causing a noticeable color mismatch * Automatic windshield wipers no longer activate in the rain, and there is visible damage/marking on the sensor that was not present post to the accident and prior to vehicle being towed * Right front alignment issues; I was informed the strut is bent Caliber stated the lamp may not be fitting correctly and ordered a replacement. I have now been waiting almost a month for this part, and I was told that if the new lamp does not fit, I would have to accept the vehicle "as-is," which is unacceptable. It has been nearly one month since reporting these concerns, and none have been resolved. The vehicle was not returned to pre-loss condition, and communication and follow-through have been poor. I would not recommend this location based on my experience.
