I'm surprised at the low rating on yelp. From the moment you walk in the front door with the coffee stand and popcorn machine you feel like the customer service is going to be a good experience. I was helped immediately and handed over to Kelly. Kelly listened to my issues and thoughts on how I would like to proceed with needed body work (self inflicted) and that I was going to be a cash customer with no insurance claim. From drop-off to pick-up, Kelly called me and kept me informed through the entire process. This was an easy-button experience as Kelly managed this the entire time. I picked up my truck, the body work was excellent, and the truck was cleaned! Good customer service turned to exceptional customer service thanks to Kelly and the team of technicians who performed the work. read more

I was involved in a deer collision the first week of November 2025, and my Jeep Compass was towed the next day to Caliber Collision in Middletown. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely frustrating and remains unresolved. When I picked up my vehicle in December 2025 (late evening), I immediately noticed the Auto Start-Stop warning light was on. I informed Caliber at that time and was told it was a dealership issue. I asked if they could double-check the vehicle before I took it off the lot, but days later I was again advised to contact the dealership. The dealership later confirmed there were no Start-Stop system issues, replaced the main battery, and advised me to return to Caliber because a hood sensor alert was showing on their diagnostics. Since then, I've noticed numerous repair quality issues that should not be present after a collision repair: * Visible gaps and misalignment between the hood, fender, bumper, and lamp area * Front bumper not aligned properly with the fender * Paint was not blended on one side, causing a noticeable color mismatch * Automatic windshield wipers no longer activate in the rain, and there is visible damage/marking on the sensor that was not present post to the accident and prior to vehicle being towed * Right front alignment issues; I was informed the strut is bent Caliber stated the lamp may not be fitting correctly and ordered a replacement. I have now been waiting almost a month for this part, and I was told that if the new lamp does not fit, I would have to accept the vehicle "as-is," which is unacceptable. It has been nearly one month since reporting these concerns, and none have been resolved. The vehicle was not returned to pre-loss condition, and communication and follow-through have been poor. Needed 1 door to be sanded and painted. After 1 month they called me to pick it up, and paint had bubbles, car was dirty inside and a rug was missing. On top, they scratched the sides and told me to return to fix these a week later. Returned and they waxed the scratches, but nothing improved. Now after another month I am waiting for them to receive the scratched parts to replace. Net Net, waste of time and money (deductible from insurance) . Only positive were the weekly messages with the meaningless updates, but at least they were sending messages (every week saying next week will be ready :). Avoid this place, even if the insurance send you there, is not worth it. read more

I had work done on my minivan after an accident at Caliber Collision in Middletown and the Caliber team were absolutely amazing. Andrew and Angelena (nina) went above and beyond to ensure that the process of getting my minivan fixed was done at the highest quality with great attention to detail!!! Andrew and Nina communicated with me through every step of the process ensuring that I was taken care of and that my interests as their customer was put first and foremost before anything. Even when the insurance company put hurdles in the way, Andrew, Nina, and their entire team made sure that I was protected and given the absolute best service available. Beyond the excellent service, honesty, integrity in the process, and consistent and constant communication, they also helped with other things like arranging the pickup and drop off of the rental vehicle. Experiencing an accident and dealing with insurance companies isn't easy and so I am grateful and understand its priceless in having people like Andrew, Nina, and the entire team at Caliber by your side! Here is my experience with them: I got in an accident with a deer, run over a dear and my insurance sent me to them for repair. They had the car towed to their location and they told me they will do an estimate and handle any required repair so I will get my car back in the same shape as before the accident. Everything was fine until they got paid by the insurance. They did the estimate and because they are a body shop they had the car sent to the dealer for the electrical issues. They got the car back and they supposedly had it fixed. Almost 2 months later, we took the car home, but few days later we realized that while the car was idling there is a noise coming out of exhaust, noise that you can only hear if you are out of the car. I contacted them to let them know and to ask what is the next step? Very rudely and unprofessionally they told me they are a body shop and they do not fix exhausters. I told them that they have the car to have it fixed so it should be on them to handle it since the car is not fixed. They didn't even want to talk with me. I reached out to the insurance company. The insurance called them, they agreed to look at the car, but once again, they said it's nothing wrong with the car and if there are any issues are not because of the accident. I reached back to the insurance, they sent me to a different repair shop and guess what? They found that a piece of the exhaust is missing, then a cover for the drive train is missing and a small piece from the gas tank is also missing, which all of these are because of running over a deer. This is also common sense, you don't have to be an expert to figure out that it is almost impossible not to have any under car damages when you run over a deer. Caliber thou couldn't find any damages. I will never go back to them or recommend them to anyone. Just once more note. My car was recommended to caliber through my insurance. They said that it would be ready on the 28th or 29th. A week ahead of time they called my husbands workplace to tell him the car is ready. After I requested that you call me since I work from home. When I called to inquire, the receptionist named Nina, got smart with me! Really? After all of that my bumper is not aligned correctly , you have a very unprofessional rep at the front desk and she is out of control! Respect is needed and recommended in all walks of life! This company has changed names in the last few years and doesn't stand behind their work.Even though it's the same people that did the work originally. So be ware when you have a car accident repaired here. My car started to rust through the new paint within a week of repair.They did repaint that time but the second problem that was from the original repair was not covered because the company changed names. read more
