The dog park is very clean, and the people who bring their pets are very respectful. There are separate areas for large and small dogs, as well as a play area where dogs can be trained. Hello followers and welcome to my "Dog Park" review. So living west of Fort Worth has a lot of perks, like no big city traffic. But yet there is not a lot out here either. I'll start this review by saying, make sure there was no rain prior. This place makes Lake Placid look like a dried up pothole. I will give them a thumbs up though, they added a swim area. It's a 5 foot blue pool from Walmart. Nice adder. They did add as well a obstacle course. That's pretty cool. I was thinking about me running it if I wouldn't get stuck in the tube. The entire property is secured by a large white privacy fence and a 6 foot cyclone fence. The grass is well maintained and the trimmings also. It does have a nice shaded area with a bench for us people. It has three bag areas for the poop. Trash cans right below it. There some shaded trees in the middle that give comfort from the scorching heat. They do have a large and small dog. read more

Very nice dog park. Separated into two fenced areas, one for little dogs and one for big dogs. Small private parking lot just for this area. Small shaded area with picnic tables. Came with one big and one little dog but I was the only one there so they ran around together. Couple park benches also for humans. read more

The only problem with this dog park, particularly, is that no one's ever there. I like for my dog to run off-leash, but mainly I like her to socialize with other dogs and wear herself out. The park is clean, well stocked with poop bags, and some seating and shade for doggie mommas and daddys. Both times I've gone, I didn't see a sign on which side was the small dog and which side was the large dogs, but since we were alone, I just guessed. Not terrible, not great. read more

Enjoy this park up until recently. Went a couple weeks ago and it always covered in up and coming sticker patches. Pretty much every where. Ground was deceiving since it was nice and green. Found out the hard way. The entire large dog area. read more

This is a great little park but it seems that there are not many other dogs there to play with. The location is a bit isolated but the park itself has good parking, a section for large or small dogs each, water faucet for the dogs, and some obstacle course toys. I'm going to give the park another try, possibly on a weekend. I think the challenge is that no one knows the park exists and also it's not centrally located. read more

This is in an odd location but without many choices we gave it a try. First impression was good it has high fence and agility equipment. Trees would be a wonderful addition as it is HOT in Tx. We managed an hour before the jet noise and heat ran us off. No dogs to play with... could be really neat if there was some shade other than the the one bench under cover. read more

I agree with Ana's assessment. Nice little park but seems isolated. We were the only ones present at 5pm on a Thursday. Stayed til dusk and were the only attendees. Will also give it another try. read more

I was looking for something less traveled since I'm still working to socialize a new dog. No one was there, which was fine, but we had to leave because of the military planes. The noise was constant and so loud that it scared both my dogs. It was a Tuesday around 3 and jets were taking off about every five minutes and seemed to be flying loops around the park. read more

It's a great dog park. Very odd location. Not as busy as say Fort Woof off Beach St or as big. If Fort Worth had a park on the west side of town it would be great, as Fort Woof aka gateway park isn't the greatest place to hang around after certain hours. read more

This is a pretty nice park for the dogs. It's got two different sides for play. Both have fire hydrants tunnels and tires. Each with a picnic bench and then a bench on each wall. They have trash cans and even have bags of you didn't bring any. I've been here twice now and both times there were not too many dogs. I liked it because I just got my dog and wanted to see how she would act with others. It worked out great. If you're not sure if your dog is a fighter or not, bring them here to figure it out. You can introduce on the leash and let them go wild. read more

This was a strange location, and no dogs were there to play with mine. It is basically an acre of land in an old neighborhood. I felt like I was being disruptive to the surrounding backyards as I hollered at my pup. I would rather drive seven miles to the Fort Woof park because they have more space and more dogs. read more

The park is divided in two sections. With one being big enough for 15 dogs (guesstimate give or take) to play comfortably but us owners need to bring our own on chairs, they have two tables and two benches on the very side and far back of the bigger section. The park hasn't been crowned at all the times We've been here so I wouldn't worry about chairs. The big section has a few obstacles for training on the corner closest to the door. A few trees scatter around, nice touch. They provide bags and of course trash cans lol but I would still bring my own bags just in case, I don't know how often they refill supplies. The park is pretty clean so we want to keep it that way, a few people don't care and they didn't/don't clean after their dogs. So please clean after your doggies. They have a smaller section also two benches and a table and obstacle course. They have water. Enjoy your day at the park! read more

The facilities at this park are excellent. They have separate Big Dog and Little Dog areas. There are obstacle course objects in both areas. The only down side of this nice little park, is that there are not enough doggies going there yet!! Hopefully...Lucy and I will wee you Saturday or Sunday morning!! read more

I love this dog park! My girls (golden retrievers) and I have been driving all the way to Fort Woof and just thought we'd try this place out because it is less than half the distance from home. So glad we did! There were about 8 other dogs that came and went while we were there, and all the owners were very friendly and chatty. I'm so excited to have a dog park closer to home. I also love that there aren't 50 dogs running around crazy like at Fort Woof, and since it is smaller than Fort Woof, it was much easier to keep my eyes on the dogs to make sure no one was playing to rough or to make sure I didn't miss a number 2. We'll be back on Saturday morning! read more

Clean little park hidden in the old part of lake worth. Never anybody here so my lab runs free. Very few obstacles and the dog pool is always cracked and broken(its a cheap Walmart plastic pool). There are 2 sections. One for small dogs and one for big. read more

Okay I brought my dog today and was really excited when we pulled up because of how big this place is, but there are sticker burrs all over this place! My dog got them stuck in her paws in about 5 minutes. No she won't leave the concrete. We will not be coming back. read more
