Pictures don't do it justice - the door feels massive, lets in a ton of light, and is so smooth on the tracks. I also want to compliment Mike, who was incredibly helpful and responsive. A big reason I decided to move forward with this business was the customer service. Mike was quick to provide a quote and responded to all of my messages. I had a ton of questions, and he had a thoughtful answer to every one of them. Care was also taken to use a slim, minimal-profile frame, which was very important to me - I wanted the glass to really stand out. One of them came right over to look at the window that we needed to replace and got the ball rolling! We had a big 2nd story bedroom double pane window that the seal failed so it looked like amoebas were attached to the glass. They came out this morning, a crew of three, set up scaffolding and took the damaged window out and installed the new one in a matter of hours. I'm sitting in my bedroom now looking at a bird and expecting it to fly right in. You can hardly tell there is glass there, it's so pure and clear! My only regret is that their truck wasn't on our street 10 years ago! I would call them back in a heartbeat for any glass or mirror work we may need in the future! Call them!!!

Fisher and a 2nd company were about the same price and a third was almost twice. Based on their positive reviews, their promptness in getting back, and their quote, we went with Fisher. The entire process was flawless - as good as one could imagine. They came to make the measurement, determined the tint of the other windows to insure a match, and installed a replacement within ten days of taking the measurements. Rick and his co-worker were a pleasure to deal with, as was the office, that kept us aprised of the schedule. This was one of the best experiences I've ever had for a home repair/service company. He helped us arrive at a suitable energy-efficient Simonton models to replace 5 of our windows at a reasonable price. He also measured all the windows to be replaced and promptly provided a written quote. Three of our replacements were for original 30+ year-old single-hung windows which were no longer functional because their balances had failed. The replacement Simonton windows have a better design that obviates the need for such balances, which was of added value to me! The total window order, measured and made to order, was received by JWG within 3 weeks and installed within 1 week. JWG Windows arrived just minutes before the scheduled time for installation. We were fortunate to have a second installation crew (Alex and Ricky) join the first crew (EJ and Cody) during the installation process, which allowed the entire job to be done within 2.5 hours. These two teams operated smoothly together in good spirits, were respectful of our property (using drop cloths in each work area) and cleaned up the work areas. After they were installed, EJ demonstrated the windows' operating features, provided me with the manufacturer's warranty and answered my questions. Sunshine came out and that just to replace the glass in the door would cost me over $1200, let alone a total replacement. I really appreciated their honesty. They said it only needed a repair and replaced the rollers. Now, it opens smooth as silk for about the quarter of the cost of just the glass replacement. Do yourself a favor and try to repair before even considering replacement.
