I did my homework to find an honest and competent body shop to repair my BMW 540i. After many weeks (length of time in shop is not my basis of review), I was told my car would be ready Friday by 11am. I arrived at 11am and was told the vehicle was "almost ready, another 10 minutes." This occurred 4 more times, totaling a complete waste of 50 minutes. Once it was actually "ready,", a worker came running across the street from an auto part store with an aftermarket windshield wiper and they spent 5 minutes installing the wiper. Vu stated I'd have to come back for the BMW wiper blade another time. All of this was not too bad. But, it is the finish on the hood, roof, door panels and rear panel. Every section they touched is worse than when I took it in. The blemishes and imperfections in the paint finish are astonishing. Photos of the finish after their work are below (blue tape are imperfections in the new finish). I pointed everything out to Vu when I picked the vehicle up and he acknowledged the imperfections. He asked me to return the vehicle for 2 days of my choosing and they would fix everything. I returned the vehicle 1/4/20 and met with Kee. Kee was very friendly and stated my vehicle would be 100% fixed by Tuesday, 1/7/20. I told him that was perfect as I'd be out of town, returning 1/8/20. On 1/8/20, I received a call from Jose stating that they'd need to keep the car until Friday, 1/10/20 to ensure it's "perfect." Okay, no problem, just pay for my rental of $91 for 2 days. Jose agreed. The afternoon of 1/8/20, Jose called back and left a voicemail stating that I'd need to pay an additional $1,700 to re-spray my hood, otherwise it wouldn't be fixed. What!? Amazing... I will not be paying them anymore money and will update my review once I get my vehicle back to see if they resolve their shoddy workmanship or not. UPDATE: 1/12/20 Kee ended up fixing all areas of concern to a respectable level. Not perfect, but pretty good. He also reimbursed me for my rental car during the additional fix time frame. I have to go back again for another 30 minute visit to have a gasket seated correctly on the roof line. read more

The car was originally worked on by Kee's back in May 08, 2019. It has taken me a bit of time to write this due to the experience I had after leaving the shop and noticing some issues only an hour after returning home and the shop was closed for the day. I originally came in for a quote and asked Vu if he was able to handle the job at hand since it was an expensive fiberglass bumper. He told me he's had some experience working with the material and would do his best to see what he could do. So we leave the shop and let them take care of everything. Within a few days the bumper was fitted on the car and unpainted and it looked fine as the tail light had been removed to not cause any issues. After a bit of inspecting and talking with Vu, he informed me he would clean up the bumper and fill in areas that had pits and what not since it wasn't a 100% ready to spray part. The part looked like it had been installed with care and nothing was out of the ordinary. When we left the shop that day, all seemed well and we agreed to have the part painted/reinstalled once they had it all situated. On the day of pickup, the car is pulled out to the front and we ended up speaking to Jose who gave us a quick walk around. The car had been washed even though we notified the shop a few times to not do that(any into auto detailing understands what swirls are). Left the shop and arrived home after the shop had closed and found a crack forming on the passenger side of the bumper. The entire bumper seems to have been shoved into the mounting bracket which caused it bulge outwards and added tension to that area. We went back the following day to speak to Vu, but again we spoke to Jose and the quick rundown was that this should be expected from a CHEAP fiberglass part. No sort of real apology and we were brushed off since they've already collected payment the day prior. Essentially Jose said we're SOL, goodbye. This really frustrates me because whether or not Vu was busy that day or he saw the issues and didn't want to address them. Jose's response to me when I mentioned that it wasn't exactly a cheap part to start with, maybe he was assuming it was an eBay part. The entire conversation felt like it was being brushed off as quick as possible and that we had just wasted our time and money with the shop. (Link for the item is below) All it would've taken was for the shop to say they weren't comfortable working on this part and that we should call it quits and move on. But instead a $1200+ bumper was ruined in the process, paint required a full 2 step correction, ceramic coating had to be redone as well on the entire car. Vu worked on my WRX and had a spoiler installed with no issues so that's why I felt comfortable coming back to Kee's. But after this experience I cannot recommend them to anyone I know and have cut my loses on this part and will need to buy a new one. From owner to front desk, I have NO complaints and only high praises for their friendliness, reasonable price estimates and outstanding quality care of my car before, during and after service. I went in to have the front bumper replaced and take care of scraping on the body of my 2012 Chevy Sonic after a side swipe with another car. I was returned literally a new car! I was called only once during the time of repair. The front bumper was considered non salvageable and for a very small fee, they said I could purchase a new part. They also helped me locate a driver's side visor which I had been told by other people would be very hard to find since this was an older model. When completed, the new front fender they located changed my car's appearance into a sporty runabout, worthy of care! The manager at Kee's auto was able to get me a detailed and in-depth estimate on my 2013 Mitsubishi Lancer GT after a teenager hit it trying to race down the high way. The estimate came out to $4100 which really helped me get my car fixed right up. If it wasnt for their speedy estimate process I would not have gotten that payment in under a week. Thank you, yall. We got in a car accident with a semi-truck and my rear door was smashed in, the car considered totaled. Vu worked with my dad and I to return the car back to new. I called ahead to ask what it would cost to remove the damaged rear emblem on our BMW X5 removed and replaced with one that I purchsed online. I have a 15 year old car that still runs great. I went to one body shop, and they quoted me $3,000 to fix all the cosmetic dings on it. Then I went to Kee's, and Vu told me not to bother with redoing the paint. Instead, he advised me to get my car detailed, buffed and clay barred. Then he reattached a corner of my bumper as a courtesy. Honest to goodness, as honest as they come. Even in the time of Covid when we're all struggling financially! Our 2009 Ford Escape was in an accident that smashed the whole front end. After having the mechanical parts repaired, I drove to get estimates on the body work. Kee's came in lowest and were the most professional. They required a $300 deposit for parts and called me to bring in the car when they arrived. By the end of the week it was finished and good as new. After I paid the bill, (this was out of our pocket and not insurance) they called me to say they forgot to credit my $300 parts deposit, which they did. They diagnosed an extremely tricky problem with my sunroof, when other mechanics had blown me off, and they took the time to explain it to me, showing me other cars with similar issues to help me understand exactly what goes on underneath all the upholstery and metal. Kee is a gem. I came in near closing time on a Friday night. I was having trouble rolling up a window because I thought the the window motor was bad. I already checked all window related fuses and relays. There was a good chance of rain that weekend and I needed to get the window up. Kee took the time to personally help me troubleshoot the issue which turned out to be a fuse that was not even related to the window motor. Keep in mind that electrical work is not even listed in their services. When I asked Kee how much I owed him, he said no charge. Kee's Auto Body worked their magic on my Porsche Cayman. This is my second time here. I previously had my Acura Integra painted here about 10 years ago. Recently bought the Cayman and the paint was in pretty bad shape. Front end, roof and trunk had the clear coat peeling and bad oxidation from the sun. It needed some TLC pronto! Their price was better than any other shop in the area. Customer service was excellent. Ky made some recommendations to blend the paint so the new paint would match the old paint better. I also had the lower front lip and side view mirrors painted and entire car buffed to give it that shiny new mirror wet look. He said it would take about 2 weeks but it was finished in 10 days.
