WOW! Is all I can say. No only do these folks do great work, Francisca repeatedly called me to let me know about the progress for insurance approval, status of parts ordered, work begun, estimated completion day, when car was washed, ready for pick-up, etc. This was unbelievable to me. I knew people who had taken their Porsche and Lexus to Jim's but I never expected this level of customer service. And, the work was done per the insurance estimate. I did not pay extra for this customer care. I also heard that Jim's has several locations and the level of customer interaction is the same. So... if you need collision repair or body work I cannot recommend them more highly. Be sure to tell Francisca my Hyundai Ionic 5 and I recommended you. She does Jim's proud everyday! read more

10/10 -- Highly Recommend! I called and stopped by the shop today to ask about a few minor paint touch-ups on my car (I had brought the matching paint from the manufacturer). To my surprise, they completed the touch-ups on the spot and didn't charge me anything. This wasn't my first experience with them. They have performed collision repairs on my car twice, and both times the work was excellent. Everyone I've interacted with has been professional, friendly, and helpful--from the reception staff to Perry, the shop manager, and the technicians. For a junky situation, glad to have used them. They walked me through the process, got parts ordered and got car fixed quick after we got rear-ended. Helpful with some insurance processes as well, and preferred with Geico. Free shuttle car day of drop off made getting to work that day easy. Amazing, incredible service. You would not know it from the outside, but these guys over delivered for me. They not only fixed the accident I came in for, but also fixed my hood from a previous and unrelated accident while they were at it! Also, they are super convenient in that they are walking distance from an Enterprise rent a car on the same side of the street. I had a little fender bender and needed to take my new car in for body work. It was covered under my insurance. I chose Jim's Auto Body based on the excellent reviews they had received on NextDoor and I will say that they didn't disappoint! Every interaction with them was professional and clear. I felt that they cared about what they needed to do to get my car back to pristine condition. They stayed in communication with me regularly as far as alerting me to any potential delays due to needed parts arriving in a timely manner to their shop. When I picked up my car, I was so happy to have it back and immediately noticed that it was returned completely clean inside and out. If I could give them 10 stars, I would! I have had three occasions to use Jim's. I went to them after my car with metallic paint was hit. A friend of mine had an accident in her car with metallic paint and Jim's matched it perfectly - they did so with my car. My wife's Jeep had damage to the RR passenger door back in 2018. Mike's Auto Body did the work and the 2-stage paint looked like a foggy mirror. She decided to live with it. In December, she dinged the same door. Jim's did it PERFECTLY!!! I was sent here from AAA to repair some minor damage I found when someone sideswiped a mirror from my car while I was parked. They were friendly and helpful. It took a little longer than expected to get the replacement part but I'm happy with the results. Our car was parked, and someone hit the side of the car. My insurance sent me to Jim's Autobody. They had an appointment for me that day. The front desk lady was very sweet, and welcoming. Perry was my representative, and he was really friendly. He said he'd email me the quote and work with my insurance company for the details. He scheduled me for about a few weeks out. I dropped off my car, and within 5 days, my car came back beautiful. Perry was great at updating me throughout the process, and they were able to turn the car around in 5 days, like he said. I had my Bolt repaired at Jim's autobody. I had a car back into my front bumper and damage my bumper. I did not turn in the repair to my insurance company. The repair was a remove and replace of parts to the front of my car. No other body work was needed. Unknown to me, Jim's autobody turned the repair of my car, about 1400 dollars, into Carfax. When I sold my Bolt, the buyer looked on Carfax and found a repair job from Jim's autobody as an accident. Oh boy, I was disappointed. I have used Jim's autobody in the past several years to fix bumps and bruises to several of my cars. I will never take another car to Jim's autobody. If I knew that Jim's autobody would turn my Bolt in for a remove and replace of body parts to the front bumper to CarFax as an accident, I would have found another body shop. Goodbye Jim's autobody. This body shop is completely incompetent. I had a horrible experience there. I took my car in to get an estimate and was helped by Francisca H. She inspected my car and gave me an initial estimate, and I was told to come back in a month to drop off my vehicle. It was inoperable, so I was out of a car for that period of time. Once I brought my car in, a day later I was contacted and told they were not able to do the repairs, and that the inspector (Francisca) had made a mistake. The owner blamed the confusion on Francisca being "new", which is no excuse. This is not how you run a company and is completely unacceptable. Do not give this shop your money, do not trust them to do a decent job. There are many other places which will give you better service. read more

I stopped by after work the other day after my car got scratched in the parking lot; Francisca was very helpful, she told me that it should polish out nicely and that they wouldn't charge me if they didn't have to take it into the bay to work on it. My car was hit while parked. Luckily the person was honest and waited until I exited the building . I took it to Jim's Auto in WC because the insurance preferred this site. It did take a while for an appointment, and their initial thought was that the side bumper might be able to be snapped back into other part. When inspected there was damage underneath, so had to wait for the parts. They tried diligently to source the parts and were able to get in a few more days and installed . They were very pleasant and communicated very well with updates. I would definitely use them in the future and recommend their shop. read more

I got rear ended and the person who rear ended me's insurance company gave me a choice between Jim's, Cooks, and Mike's. I had a bad experience with Cooks, so I opted for Jim's. I arrived at Jim's early one morning, checked in and got no look of recognition from the cold receptionist when I told her my name, despite me calling their office the day before to confirm that they had my claim on file, which they said they did. She then had problems locating my file in her binders but said my name sounded familiar. In the meantime, she had me wait and offered me refreshments. Music in the office ranges from Clapton to soft rock radio. There are nonni's dark chocolate biscotti, coffee in pots, tea, water jug, and sodas in mini fridge. I waited about 20 minutes until they finished the estimate. Tom presented me with the info and let me know when to come back. He never introduced himself formally to me, moderately friendly, and short with his communication. The rest of my dealings with Jim's yielded a similar experience... cold receptionist (including a miscommunication regarding whether or not I could wax my bumper... clearly, I misunderstood what she was trying to communicate and she did not correct me. I confirmed the information with my service contact, who thank goodness, was much clearer and friendlier), short and business like dealings with my contact for the service (including a phone call where I said hello? for about 10 seconds before receiving some sort of greeting on the other line). Pros: easy to get a rental car through Hertz and drop it off at Jim's when I retrieved my car, on time with the estimate that was given to me, and they almost fully corrected a dent that was in my car before the accident (a dent that was not fixed by Cooks). I'll try Mike's if I ever get rear ended again, just to avoid the receptionist here, who was consistently unfriendly. read more

Clearly, quality mattered to ensure that my vehicle was repaired as good as new. Jim's Auto Body not only did an amazing job on the repair, but the entire staff was lovely to deal with, respected the situation with Covid (all wore masks and provided hand sanitizer when I went in) and my newest little fur friend, Mamacita was the cutest little doggie ever! And if that were not enough, they did the repair in a week and had me back on the road incredibly fast. Enterprise car rental is a few doors down, so really convenient if you need a rental during your repairs. Overall, a fantastic experience. So glad it was the shop recommended by Geico! I've recently been to the North Main location. Went to another shop, they gave me a 2000 dollar estimate, told me I need to rent a car, and they couldn't start on mine for 6 weeks. Took my car to Jim's, they fixed it for me on the spot while I waited, for a minimal fee. It's the same customer centered focus that Jim's has at the Concord Location on Monument. After having great service in both locations, I wouldn't want to take my car anywhere else. read more
