Came here to check out the specials and happy hour. This is a beautifully designed when you walk in and we were greeted with warm and friendly staff. Got the Irish Nachos with beef and the Bayou Blaze Burger. The Irish Nachos was humongous and delicious, enough for 3 to 4 people easily. The burger had a nice flavor and heat to it. It was enough to have me throw in the towel. Delicious grub, great staff, beautiful clean establishment, a winner in my book. Thumbs up and fist bumps!!

Nachos and burnt ends great atmosphere, staff was pleasant and helpful.

Great beer selection. Try the Phillies. Love the steak and chicken both. Also dig the fried pickle chips.

They've also changed their menu quite a few times since inception. First off it's a beautiful restaurant with a nice large parking lot and you'll be seated by a hostess on either the dining room side or the large bar/dining area on the other half of the restaurant. There's many large comfortable booths to sit in unless you want a table which there's plenty of too. Also high top tables for 4/6/8 available on the bar side or you can just sit at the very large bar that's three sided with 60 seats. The bar side is full of TVs. And generally has music videos as well as sports on. After getting seated by your hostess, expect you will get a great experience from your server as they take pride in training their staff very well here and I've never had a bad experience with a server in probably 20/25 visits here. The menu is a little all over the place now there are some interesting and tasty appetizers. The cheese logs and the fried green tomatoes seem to be most people's favorite appetizers. The chicken wings are pretty good though there are limited flavors available. They do an amazing happy hour menu with great appetizer deals as well as good drink deals if you have the opportunity to stop in during this time of day. I think where they shine is with their burgers. I've had some very delicious burgers there. I've also had good Italian type food with their rigatoni , manicotti and their Stromboli's. Their pizza used to be really excellent. And now it's a little hit and miss depending on which type you get. They have their own woodfired pizza Grill, which has the potential to make amazing crust. However, they tend to get ratios of cheese and meats a little off sometimes. The bison chili and the duck gumbo are both pretty good. It's not traditional Cajun gumbo but it's still a pretty delicious soup. I've had a few bad soups here, including the beer cheese and some of the other cheese soups, which were not completely cooked down and were gritty with flour base still noticeable. The fried fish is also a stand out dish that they do. And a lot of people really like their steaks and steak salad. Overall, this is a great place to bring your family or a large group of friends or even a elegant birthday party. You know you'll get taken really good care of and other than it's more on the expensive side you know exactly what you're gonna get every time highly recommended and if you're getting a cocktail, I recommend the huckleberry Mojito. Recommended.

The level of unprofessionalism here was honestly shocking…read more Our waiter disappeared for over 30 minutes without checking on us even once. After repeatedly asking multiple servers just to get simple drink refills, the situation got so ridiculous that a manager finally showed up. Instead of apologizing or even pretending to care, the manager (Juanita) walked up to our table and bluntly said, "What do y'all want?" in an irritated, bothered tone -- as if we were the inconvenience. All we had asked for were refills. That's it. To make it even more uncomfortable, Juanita was visibly frustrated and snapping at employees in front of guests immediately afterward. Watching staff get scolded while customers sit there wondering why basic service is such a struggle really kills the dining experience. If you're looking for a relaxed meal, attentive service, or even basic courtesy, this is not the place. Expect long waits, ignored tables, and an attitude that makes you regret walking in. Save yourself the time, money, and awkwardness -- there are plenty of restaurants that don't serve steak with a side of hostility. They'll probably respond trying to "address" this, but don't be fooled -- this wasn't a one-off, it was a full experience.

My husband and I took a gander at the menu before getting there, but we wanted to double check to make sure we knew what we wanted. There are SO MANY choices! All sound amazing! I ALWAYS have to order fried okra to see if they get it right and Sanford's definitely does. The Momma Odie's chicken melt was such a spot hitter. The Parmesan garlic crust on the sourdough bread with the melted spinach dip, bacon, and chicken was the perfect balance of flavors. My husband LOVED his pants on fire burger. He said it was the perfect combination of buffalo ranch and melted bleu cheese crumbles with his burger patty. It was the first time he actually used a knife and fork to eat his burger. He got plain fries and those with the pickle were a nice finish. We ended our meal with huckleberry ice cream. It was just what was needed to complete the meal. We can't wait to come back again. Next time, I'm trying that andouille penne. Sidenote: Don't be rude...if you have a big party, like 10+, call and let them know. They ask for 20 minutes in advance. A party of 22 came in as we were about to leave and they didn't have a reservation. Don't be those people. Call first.
