Came here the other day with some friends for drinks and food and honestly, it was such a good time. I really love the open concept here, especially the outdoor seating area. There's plenty of tables and open space, which makes it perfect for hanging out with friends and family. It's also super kid friendly since there's room for them to run around and burn off all that energy while everyone relaxes. But be sure to dress warm cause it definitely gets chilly at night . I got their Levy Lemonade and wow... I was actually surprised by how good it was. It has lavender in it, but the flavor wasn't overpowering at all, which I personally loved. The drink was refreshing, smooth, and not too sweet or bitter , just perfectly balanced. We also ordered the chicken wings and they were really good. I do wish they let you do half-and-half flavors because the lemon pepper was VERY lemony but still super tasty. The woman helping us at the register was really friendly and helpful when it came to recommending drinks. Honestly, the whole staff was welcoming and nice, which made the experience even better I can already tell this is going to become one of my regular spots. Thank you Green Cheek Beer Co. for such a fun experience !!! I'll definitely be back soon

The plush leather cushions on the bench seating inside is beyond amazing. I really appreciate a place that doesn't shy from making you as comfortable as possible. I love the tarnished gold and worn leather. I had the pleasure of being served by Savannah and Maggie. The service is sincere and REALLY knowledgeable. Their love of their craft is infectious and makes you fall in love with going out to eat all over again. I loved hearing their food recommendations (albacore tuna ceviche) and learning about the gluten free beer options. When sitting at the bar, it feels like you are sitting in your own beach house. Nothing compares to a locally crafted beer and a view of Newport harbor. I am forever in love with this place.

Located in a business center, the space is huge and perfect for the solo patron or being the whole family to let the kids run around the open grassy area. I love the theme of the place and the fact they also themed the names of menu items!! We picked up our beers and ordered dinner pretty fast. The menu was amazing and had all kinds of options available. I ordered the Korean Demilitarization Zone Pork Tacos. 3 decently sized tacos, extremely filling and paired great with my beer. Everything was cooked and seasoned so well. The chips were a nice side to go along with them. I loved it all. I wished I lived closer because I would definitely frequent this place if it was in San Diego!

To the Management Team at Hangar 24, I wanted to share some…read morefeedback regarding the recent changes to your live entertainment format. For years, Hangar 24 has been a place where families can gather, enjoy great food and drinks, listen to live music, and allow their children to safely play and have fun. It has created a welcoming environment that appeals to a broad audience, and that family-friendly atmosphere is one of the reasons so many people continue to return. Last night, however, I noticed a significant change that concerned me. Instead of having the live band perform earlier in the evening, a DJ played first and the band performed much later. Many people, including myself, came specifically to enjoy the live band, and the new format seemed confusing to much of the crowd. As I observed throughout the evening, very few people were dancing during the DJ set. Most guests remained seated, looking uncertain about the change. In addition, some of the music selections and volume level felt inappropriate for a venue that attracts so many families with young children. I noticed several children covering their ears, and many parents appeared uncomfortable. From my perspective, Hangar 24's customer base is largely made up of families. Those families purchase food, drinks, and often stay for several hours while their children enjoy the outdoor space. By scheduling the live band later in the evening, many parents are forced to leave before the performance begins because their children are tired or it is simply too late for a family outing. If the goal is to attract a younger nightlife crowd, a better approach might be to have the live band perform earlier in the evening when families are present and then transition to a DJ later at night for guests who prefer that atmosphere. This would allow both audiences to enjoy the venue without alienating the families who have supported Hangar 24 for years. I am sharing this feedback because I genuinely enjoy coming to Hangar 24 and want to see it continue to succeed. I believe many guests share these concerns, and I hope management will carefully consider how these changes may impact the loyal family customer base that has helped make Hangar 24 such a popular destination. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, A Concerned Customer

The IPAs were excellent -- fresh, flavorful, and well-crafted. Great variety, too. Whether you like something hazy and juicy or a more classic, hop-forward profile, they've got you covered. Everything I tried was balanced and easy to drink. The bartender was fantastic -- knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely engaging without being over the top. You can tell they care about what they're pouring and about the people sitting at the bar. The overall vibe is just right -- a chill environment where you can relax, have a real conversation, and enjoy quality beer without any pretense. I ended up having some great conversations with good people, which made the stop even better. If you're in Orange County and appreciate solid IPAs and a laid-back atmosphere, this place is absolutely worth a visit. I'll be back next time I'm in town.

"Busy weekend" said the bar keep. "No excuse for this. Total fail," thinks I. The guava beer was ok. Just ok. Apparently that's their best. Would be totally happy if a decent sports bar moved in here.
