Nico was knowledgeable about the area and should us some points of interest. There is a sushi restaurant and a place where you can order burgers and other food right next to where you board the tiki. It can get quite busy to make sure you get there with plenty of time to spare if you plan on ordering food to take out on the water with you. Sodas, ice, and some water bottles are provided for you, but make sure you have a good playlist of music ready so you can connect to their bluetooth speaker.

After that, they found a family of dolphins and we spent over a half hour following them. The dolphins got as close as 8 ft from the boat. At the end of our trip, we got within touching distance of sea lions. Thanks, Chris and Molly, for creating memories for my family! I highly recommend them.

Captain Dave and Sarah were absolutely wonderful--friendly, welcoming, incredibly knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do. They got us out to a pod of dolphins so quickly and efficiently, and it was absolutely breathtaking! Then, thanks to their years of experience and expertise, they managed to find not just one, but THREE whales in such a short amount of time! It was truly an unforgettable experience. I would HIGHLY recommend Newport Coastal Adventure to anyone looking for a unique and exciting adventure on the water. It was well worth the money and so much more personal than being on one of the large, crowded whale-watching boats. The smaller group made the entire experience feel intimate, comfortable, and special. Each person paid a hefty price for a dinner cruise that never left the dock. 2. The boat is so old it can't even handle being in unstill water. 3. Main floor is extremely hot with no air, cross breeze or circulation. 4. Main floor is very old and dingy looking. I rated it a "3" because an attempt to make things right, by not leaving the dock, they allegedly upgraded us from the bottom shelf alcohol to top shelf. Plus the food was actually pretty good and so was the DJ. I am unconvinced that this boat should even be in business still after our experience.

It's more like the Krusty Krab than a fancy yacht. * The boat is dingy and not as clean. It could use a good vacuuming, deep cleaning of the rugs and all surfaces. Some fresh paint could help. New tables and chairs too. It definitely needs TLC! * Not sure what happened but 30 kids and 15 adults went through the food quickly. A few of us had very little to eat and by the time we went for more, the food was gone. No left overs. In summary, we had a great experience just wish the boat had a nicer look inside and more cleanliness. If your looking to host an informal even and just want to have a great time, this is the right boat for you. I wouldn't recommend it for an upscale, black tie event. By the time we arrived, we were stressed and running late. From the moment we walked in, the young lady at the front desk (she had blonde hair, and I'm so sorry I forgot your name! ‍) greeted us with the warmest smile. She immediately told me to relax and assured me everything was going to be okay. Then I realized my phone was on only 5%, and I asked if they happened to have a charger. Without hesitation, she handed me a portable charger so I could capture the memories from our very first gondola ride. Our gondolier, Waylon (I hope I'm spelling your name correctly! ), was absolutely amazing. He was kind, professional, and so knowledgeable about the history of the area. He made the experience even more special. At the end of our ride, the sweet young lady surprised me with a beautiful rose. Such a simple gesture meant so much. After the incredibly difficult year and a half we've had, this team completely turned our stressful day around and gave us a first wedding anniversary we'll never forget.
