The Paradiso team, especially Kathi and Chacha, did an amazing job helping us plan and coordinate our event. Chef Tom made it very easy to coordinate the menu, and having Chef Teddy with us during the event gave everyone added confidence that everything and everyone would be satisfied. After doing extensive research found the Paradiso Yacht for my 50th birthday. The service with Tanya was easy and professional. It did take a bit to get the premium bar menu to review - and I really wanted good champagne on the yacht to be served all night long, but they only had prosecco and we weren't able to work together to order nice bottles ahead of time. There was a 2 bottle maximum that was allowed to be brought on board with a $35 corkage - but they allowed me a few more bottles on board which was nice. But would have been nice to know ahead of time vs the day before. I wouldn't say anyone went above and beyond - but service was professional, courteous. Drinks for the premium bar were definitely on par with CA prices. They provided a list of caterers and for my milestone where I wanted French food - recommended Tom's Catering. He has been doing food on board for 20+ years and the food was PHENOMENAL. Guests devoured the food and everything was absolutely delicious. Boat has 3 levels and was able to fit the party nicely. The main floor had the bar and upstairs is where we played games. all in all - everyone had a lovely time, nobody got sea sick. read more

We had an amazing experience with Paradiso Charters for the spreading of my sister's ashes. I highly recommend them for this service. Captain Joe, Captain Noah, and our favorite, first mate Treble, took excellent care of us. The ride to/from Newport Harbor is slow and calm as you take in the beauty of Balboa Bay, The Wedge, Corona Del Mar, Laguna Beach and more. The spreading of ashes takes place about a mile out to sea. Captain Noah, in captain hat and blazer, lead us through a short ceremony with a few words and then released ashes and flowers to the sea. Captain Joe then circled the area, allowing us to say final goodbyes as we watched the floating leis and flowers. Family is welcome to add words of thoughts and prayers. It was very emotional. It was a beautiful way for our family to lay our sister to rest. We were a fairly small group of ten. The ship would easily accommodate twice as many people. There are three levels. There are ladder like steps up from the entry level/lowest level to the second deck where there is a full bar and comfy inside seating. The third level is where Captain Joe and Treble controls the ship, and where there is a deck with table and chair seating. The entire trip was two hours. They provide roses for everyone to toss. We also brought leis to wear and toss. Not included in the cost is alcohol and snacks. They share a parking lot with Bluewater Grill. They give you parking vouchers for the time you are on the cruise. We chose to have lunch at Bluewater Grill after, which was so convenient. Bluewater Grill charges $7 for valet parking. Communication was excellent. Ship is clean and comfortable. Crew was warm and welcoming. Treble is a good boy! read more

Paradiso handled our celebration of life for my sister. They were so easy to work with and helped us through the day. Captain Joe and Captain Noah were amazing! We were assisted through the entire process of scattering of ashes. Captain Noah prepared the ashes and flowers for the scattering. It was a very special and moving experience. A terrible experience. Our Duffy boat suddenly stopped working, leaving us drifting and at risk of being hit by other boats. Despite being only about five minutes from the docks, it took approximately 40 minutes for them to provide assistance. During that time, they were also very difficult to reach because they did not answer the phone. In the end, we had to find our own way out of the situation. This was extremely stressful and disappointing, especially considering the safety concerns involved. The customer service was very poor, and the lack of prompt assistance made the experience even worse. Overall, a truly awful experience. I would not recommend booking these Duffy boats based on our experience. read more

5 stars to Paradiso. We booked the 3 hour harbor cruise, for 4/4/26, for 65 friends. We had a blast. Paradiso crew members were outstanding to ensure the cruise was flawless. Shout out to Tanya, in the front office. She was awesome in helping us setup the cruise, then joining us onboard to make sure we were well taken care of. We had a emergency onboard, forcing the yacht to return early. As soon as the emergency was settled, the captain was more than happy to continue on with the cruise. At the dock was Isiah, who helped us out, answered all of our questions, and even helped us with my Aunt who was in a wheelchair. FYI: if you have a physical disability, at low tide the dock ramp can be challenging to use as the ramp can be very steep at that time. Communication and customer service was excellent. I booked a pre 4th of July party for my company on July 3rd and Paradiso pulled out all the stops for us. Tanya was so helpful with booking the event and helping me with catering options. Definitely unforgettable experience. We went for my father's sea burial on Saturday, April 16th w 46people. From the moment we tried to booked them, they are very friendly and very accommodating. Nothing is a no for them, just make sure you asked 2/3days for it in advance! The day of the burial was also very pleasant. Yacht is very clean, and captain is knowledgeable and again very accommodating. Definitely an experience i would recommend to family and friends. Service was beautiful. The ringing of the bell, then they go around the burial place a couple times, the flowers release. Just very heartfelt. We've booked private Yacht Charters with Paradiso 2 times for our corporate events and it's safe to say we will be making it a yearly occurrence. The customer service is really unmatched. Everyone at Paradiso treats you like a life long friend! From changing our booking date / time, to logistics and parking, to arrivals and setting up catering, to impromptu tours of the Newport Harbor! Rob, Eric, Noah and Chris were really the stars of the show. I was hosting a corporate event which expected 50 people and they always checked in with me to ask if there was anything they could do, tended to all our guests with kindness, and went above and beyond to help me set up our catering, took awesome pictures of our group and really made the experience so much fun. The Newport harbor is amazing by itself, but I really think what makes us come back again and again is the incredible staff. Not only are Chris and Noah awesome hosts, but they're also incredible bartenders!
