No waiting on Father's Day. Nice waitress. Decent service. Pretty extensive menu. I had traditional eggs, Benedict and potatoes, they were yummy. My daughter had a fish sandwich and included two nice pieces of fried fish topped with coleslaw and what looked like really yummy tartar, sauce, and fries.

We enjoyed a wonderful late afternoon meal. The menu was filled with excellent options. The ambience was comfortable, with lots of seating but room to move. We enjoyed an excellent appetizer as well as flatbread, we finished with one of the best tres Leche cakes I've ever had. The Margarita was smooth, not overly sweet, and the wine choice was excellent. Combine all that with fabulous service and our afternoon was a true delight.

Salmon Bowl, no salmon with sautéed veggies. Vegan.

This was the longer dinner ever. We were a group of 10 people and took 2h to get us food. The server kept disappearing for a long period of time. House salad was vegan. I was able to accommodate the salmon Bowl to make it vegan. It was good for what could be made. They don't really have much vegan options, but if you're smart and the server is knowledgeable you can modify few dishes and make them vegan.

Service was great! Sat at the bar and the bartender made great recommendations was super helpful and answered all of our questions. The menu is quite large and they have great seasonal selections for drinks! Love the room with the fire pits and in the summer it looks like they have a great patio setup. We will definitely be back!

I opted for the chicken wrap and it was very tasty as the meat was well seasoned and very flavorful.

Greeted promptly. Great atmosphere for adults and families. Big TV's on the bar area to enjoy sports. Food is excellent. Good variety of items on the menu. The staff is very accommodating with orders or other requests. This is a great place for a burger or a full meal. Plenty of outdoor seating. Plenty of free parking and well lit parking lot. Enjoy this is a great addition to the area!!!

Dogwoods - Sunday Brunch Done Right We stopped in at Dogwoods for a Sunday brunch after church and were pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. From the start, we were greeted warmly and seated quickly. Our server, Kaia, was incredibly pleasant--friendly, informative, and took the time to explain the menu options without rushing us. I had the Creole Omelet, which was excellent--rich, flavorful, and generously filled with crab. Each bite had great depth and seasoning. The rest of the family ordered a mix of brunch favorites: an Egg BLT Bagel, a Churro Waffle, and a Mexican-inspired egg bake dish. Everyone left happy and full. The restaurant has a subtle Mexican flair in both the décor and a few of the menu items, but there's truly something for everyone. The space is clean, comfortable, and clearly well-managed. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Dogwoods also appears to have a great-looking bar setup--we're already looking forward to coming back to try some of their dinner offerings and cocktails. Overall, a fantastic spot for a sit-down brunch with quality food, a pleasant atmosphere, and genuinely good service. Highly recommend!

The food was great here, but the ambience inside wasn't anything special. The restaurant is located in a parking lot with other stores, giving minimal views throughout the windows and outside. The drink menu was expansive, but the drinks we received were small for the price listed.

Fun spot, outdoor/indoor seating Chicken tenders were super crispy and flavorful all white meat, great poutine dish with short ribs. We were seated right away and checked on often Elevated cocktails as well.

Fun menu & great food!! We came around lunchtime on a Sunday and it wasn't too busy. It's a cute, comfortable place for brunch, lunch, or dinner! We noticed that the other servers were very attentive, but felt ours was the opposite. Still, we will be back to try more of their menu! We got the Hawaiian flatbread, chicken tenders, and strawberry cheesecake pancakes for dessert!

Absolutely loved our foods. Both sandwiches were delicious. Staff were super friendly, helped pick out what to order and were spot on! Groovy casual spot, chill ambience, can be for a more chill or fancier dinner which is great

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ALEXIS! I was pretty hungry, a bit tired, more than thirsty and super glad to find Dogwoods. It's not where you expect to find it yet it's so worth the search! The menu is very diverse and super fresh. I love the local draft beer selection as well, Dogwoods really represents! The restaurant is bright and open, I even saw a person on crutches navigating their way into the restaurant pretty easily. High marks for the layout!! The service and attention was amazing, Alexis helped me find a great beer and a perfect snack to re-fuel me after a day of retail therapy. I enjoyed my stop - rocked out to the playlist - and wanted to share this hidden gem with others!

Here is the lay of the land: Check in at the little red table in the center of the outdoor courtyard if you want "full service". - which means eating and drinking at a table with wait staff. It is not seat yourself at the outdoor tables, like we originally thought. There is a nice sized bar indoors and seating at the bar is first come first served. We ordered several of the small plate "snacks" and I can tell you that the hummus is not to be missed. It is served with (homemade?) tortilla chips that are absolutely addictive. They have lots of choices for wine, beer, and cocktails. Towards the back entrance of the property, there is a drink truck where you can also order "walkaway" food and drinks. Not entirely sure where you sit with the food/drinks you order, as most of the seating seemed reserved for full service. Additionally, there is a photo booth for pics (long line) and Warda Patisserie is right next door and accessible through a garden walkway.

The inside restaurant area is also beautiful. We wanted to sit inside at the bar, so we waited for some seats to open up. If you want to sit outside, all you have to do is order at the bar and they'll serve your drinks in plastic cups for you to take outside. The rhubarb pie punch was so delicious I had to order it twice! Probably one of my favorite cocktails I've ever had. I also ordered the maurixio cattelan, which tasted like ginger ale. For a snack before dinner, we chose to get the burrata and it was so refreshing. The service was great and our bartender was super friendly! The logo with the little lamb is adorable. I bought one of their wine glasses with their logo on it too for just $10.

This cocktail bar is small, low ceiling with low lighting, and simple decor. Their menu is a small book of interesting, and priced as such, cocktails. Each has a fun name. I love the little speak easy bars popping up all over the city, it is a fun way to use the space. During the day, this is a hallway that leads to a barber shop, then turns into a bar during the evening. I loved the dark aesthetic, with the black lace draped tiny lamps at each table and the slightly spooky Halloween vibe. The people working here were incredibly nice and helpful and very eager to serve drinks and make this a fun evening. We came as a pre-dinner cocktail, since I am trying to eat around the city and visit as many establishments as I can. I liked their very themed menu, and their additional Halloween drinks. They had a lot of very creative types of infused liquors to try, ranging from candy infused to meat infused alcohols. But we went for the very standard espresso martini (since we are trying them at as many places as possible) and a very tropical martini. The espresso one was good, not quite at the top of my list, but I am a very big fan of Dessert Oasis, which is right above this bar and I am told shares owners. The tropical one, called For My Fans, was excellent. I would get that one again. This seems like a fun place to go, especially with friends, for quick a drink and to try new flavors.

As we followed our greeter to our table I kept screaming in my mind "no no no no no not that table no!" and she sat us at a table in full blasting sun. Nevermind the fact that there was a whole shaded section in the back part of the patio area. The rest of my group said it was fine and a beam of sun slowly bore a hole through my chest. Drink orders were up. I ordered a fabulous cross between a Moscow Mule and a Mojito. A+++ for the drinks. Mine was loaded with fresh mint from their garden. Same grade for our waitress who explained the drinks in detail and ended with "ugh- are you sure you want to sit at this table straight in the sun?" The other two said it was fine. I was ready to move, but was out voted. She continued to check in regularly and brought extra water. Most items on the menu were hot. I considered the fish, but we all landed on appetizers and we would just bounce from place to place for bites and drinks. We ordered the charcuterie board and the lavender lemon whip with bread and cucumbers for the 3 of us. The charcuterie board was the large version and had minimal offerings. It wasn't full and pretty. It was little piles of each thing on a board. This one definitely wasn't making it into Better Homes and Gardens magazine. There was a little pile of mixed nuts, a little pile of lose green grapes, a little pile of lose red grapes - not all grapes pristine or large and none were on the vine. There were 3 little piles of cubed cheese and 2 types of sliced sausage and sliced pepperoni. There were 8 crackers that were wheat thin size. This matters because we had some onion jam on the board and a nice serving of mustard. There really wasn't anything to put them on except for the 8 little crackers. That part was weird. These weren't elevated offerings. I could have picked up any of these at Walmart. They were not elevated quality either. We also got a lavender lemon infused whip which was their answer to tzatziki sauce. It was excellent but again, we were given so much of the sauce without a bunch to put it on. The cucumbers were sliced lengthways and there was a lovely bread that tasted like sourdough. There was 6 pieces of bread, and these were not particularly large pieces. A lot more would have been needed to use all of the sauce they gave. The proportions were off. All together the bill was over $100 for the 3 drinks and appetizers. If I ever did go back I won't order food based on what I experienced. There are too many other great options within walking distance.

I love the concept- wines from wineries around Michigan that usually we wouldn't even know about. The flights were bit pricey, 3 of $16, but the pours were generous. I actually would've preferred half-pours if I could've tried three more instead for that price. I didn't find anything I couldn't live without, but my wife and I each ordered 3 different wines in our flights, so we could actually both try 6.
