    Original Benedict

No waiting on Father's Day. Nice waitress. Decent service. Pretty extensive menu. I had traditional eggs, Benedict and potatoes, they were yummy. My daughter had a fish sandwich and included two nice pieces of fried fish topped with coleslaw and what looked like really yummy tartar, sauce, and fries.

We enjoyed a wonderful late afternoon meal. The menu was filled with excellent options. The ambience was comfortable, with lots of seating but room to move. We enjoyed an excellent appetizer as well as flatbread, we finished with one of the best tres Leche cakes I've ever had. The Margarita was smooth, not overly sweet, and the wine choice was excellent. Combine all that with fabulous service and our afternoon was a true delight.

Salmon Bowl, no salmon with sautéed veggies. Vegan.

This was the longer dinner ever. We were a group of 10 people and took 2h to get us food. The server kept disappearing for a long period of time. House salad was vegan. I was able to accommodate the salmon Bowl to make it vegan. It was good for what could be made. They don't really have much vegan options, but if you're smart and the server is knowledgeable you can modify few dishes and make them vegan.

Service was great! Sat at the bar and the bartender made great recommendations was super helpful and answered all of our questions. The menu is quite large and they have great seasonal selections for drinks! Love the room with the fire pits and in the summer it looks like they have a great patio setup. We will definitely be back!

The food was great here, but the ambience inside wasn't anything special. The restaurant is located in a parking lot with other stores, giving minimal views throughout the windows and outside. The drink menu was expansive, but the drinks we received were small for the price listed.

I opted for the chicken wrap and it was very tasty as the meat was well seasoned and very flavorful.

Dogwoods - Sunday Brunch Done Right We stopped in at Dogwoods for a Sunday brunch after church and were pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. From the start, we were greeted warmly and seated quickly. Our server, Kaia, was incredibly pleasant--friendly, informative, and took the time to explain the menu options without rushing us. I had the Creole Omelet, which was excellent--rich, flavorful, and generously filled with crab. Each bite had great depth and seasoning. The rest of the family ordered a mix of brunch favorites: an Egg BLT Bagel, a Churro Waffle, and a Mexican-inspired egg bake dish. Everyone left happy and full. The restaurant has a subtle Mexican flair in both the décor and a few of the menu items, but there's truly something for everyone. The space is clean, comfortable, and clearly well-managed. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Dogwoods also appears to have a great-looking bar setup--we're already looking forward to coming back to try some of their dinner offerings and cocktails. Overall, a fantastic spot for a sit-down brunch with quality food, a pleasant atmosphere, and genuinely good service. Highly recommend!

Greeted promptly. Great atmosphere for adults and families. Big TV's on the bar area to enjoy sports. Food is excellent. Good variety of items on the menu. The staff is very accommodating with orders or other requests. This is a great place for a burger or a full meal. Plenty of outdoor seating. Plenty of free parking and well lit parking lot. Enjoy this is a great addition to the area!!!

Fun spot, outdoor/indoor seating Chicken tenders were super crispy and flavorful all white meat, great poutine dish with short ribs. We were seated right away and checked on often Elevated cocktails as well.

Fun menu & great food!! We came around lunchtime on a Sunday and it wasn't too busy. It's a cute, comfortable place for brunch, lunch, or dinner! We noticed that the other servers were very attentive, but felt ours was the opposite. Still, we will be back to try more of their menu! We got the Hawaiian flatbread, chicken tenders, and strawberry cheesecake pancakes for dessert!

Absolutely loved our foods. Both sandwiches were delicious. Staff were super friendly, helped pick out what to order and were spot on! Groovy casual spot, chill ambience, can be for a more chill or fancier dinner which is great

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ALEXIS! I was pretty hungry, a bit tired, more than thirsty and super glad to find Dogwoods. It's not where you expect to find it yet it's so worth the search! The menu is very diverse and super fresh. I love the local draft beer selection as well, Dogwoods really represents! The restaurant is bright and open, I even saw a person on crutches navigating their way into the restaurant pretty easily. High marks for the layout!! The service and attention was amazing, Alexis helped me find a great beer and a perfect snack to re-fuel me after a day of retail therapy. I enjoyed my stop - rocked out to the playlist - and wanted to share this hidden gem with others!

The menu says 18% for parties of 6 of more.

I love the concept- wines from wineries around Michigan that usually we wouldn't even know about. Maybe they're way up north or wherever, but this place brings it right to the neighborhoods of Metro Detroit so you can try a few to see what you like. The flights were bit pricey, 3 of $16, but the pours were generous. I actually would've preferred half-pours if I could've tried three more instead for that price. I didn't find anything I couldn't live without, but my wife and I each ordered 3 different wines in our flights, so we could actually both try 6. Therefore, we went with 6 dry reds, because that's what she drinks. I liked a few of them. I'd definitely return to try some more. A good date night. This is the second location we've tried, Shelby Township being the other.

Public parking parking lot very close by. They have some food and you can order paninis from the brewery next door.

Everything tasted super fresh and the menu leans more "snacky" in the best possible way -- perfect little plates that are clearly meant to pair with wine. We ordered a few things for the table and it felt like the kind of place where you just keep ordering one more thing because everything sounds good. Nothing heavy, just really well done bites that let the wine shine. Speaking of wine, the selection is awesome. It's not the usual predictable restaurant list. There are some really interesting bottles and styles on there, which makes it fun if you actually enjoy trying different wines instead of just defaulting to the same thing every time. Service was great too. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and welcoming, and you can tell the owners are really hands-on and working hard to make the place special. That always makes a difference. And the ambiance... chef's kiss. Moody lighting, cozy, stylish but not pretentious. Just good vibes all around. It's the kind of spot you want to linger at with friends and a second bottle of wine. Already planning my next visit :)

We originally got seated inside but thought it was a bit loud with the music and chatter among patrons. It was also colder inside than outside, they seemed to have their air running. So bring a jacket just in case We tried the breadsticks-an absolute must in our book! They were delicious! Hubby got the Cajun chicken pasta and I got the chicken piccata with noodles (noodles or smashed potatoes were the choice). Hubby really liked the Cajun chicken. It definitely had some good spice to it. I thought both my chicken and his chicken was dry to the bone. The flavor of my piccata was fine but I've had better. I will definitely go back, but I will be avoiding any chicken dishes as it was just too dry. The green beans that came with my dinner were nice and tender (my favorite thing on the plate). The pasta is homemade which is cool. I thought my spaghetti was a little spongy but fine. Hubby enjoyed his linguine over my spaghetti noodles. Had the beignets with mixed berry sauce for dessert. Nice, soft and pillowy. These are not super sweet (I'm used to beignets that are super coated in powder sugar, these are lightly dusted). But a solid dessert nonetheless. Waitress was very attentive which was nice (I noticed that all of them in our area were attentive). Took until the end to get a smile but she was fine and did a good job. Great menu and so many good looking choices, would recommend a visit.

We weren't served our main courses until after the restaurant had officially closed, and the checkout process took an additional hour. Sat at 7 - could not leave until 11:30 As servers ourselves, we were appalled by the lack of basic hospitality. The meal was a series of failures: Appetizers were old fries served without sauce; we were told we'd be charged when we requested dipping sauce. We went for trivia and expected it to be the same as always, unfortunately it was not. They erased our points we've earned for a free glass, these are no longer honored. The menu has significantly changed: flights are $2-$3 more, no longer include flight bites, an upcharge for premium pours (which is understandable), no longer has a $5 bottle credit, and each glass is now $3-$5 more per pour. Why did you have to make every last item on the menu more expensive? I understand that the economy and inflation contribute to these things, but to increase the price and get less on everything throughout the menu plus not honor points earned for a free glass is a slap in the face. I'm just crushed at the blatant disrespect for the regulars that come every week for trivia or other events, no warning. Our trivia night just got a whole lot more expensive and we will be looking at other locations with more reasonably priced beverages and snacks. I hope they still allow us to bring in our own food, they did this week but who knows if that will also change. The staff seemed stressed telling us the new rules as well.
