I had been meaning to try this business for quite some time and finally pulled the trigger. The menu for this restaurant falls along the lines of an expanded bar/Bistro menu with a heavy emphasis on sandwiches, wraps and burgers. Having heard good things about their Burgers I opted to go with their Classic Cheeseburger and fries for $15 and two of their house margarita's which were the drink of the day on Tuesdays for $5 apiece. Realtive to the burger, it was quite large at 1/2 lb and definately a two hander. It was well made, quite juicy, with fresh veggies and very very tasty. The fries were well made as well with a nice crunchy texture and quite tasty in their own right. Lastly my two Margarita's very well made and oh so good where I had only planned on getting one but opted for two after the first sip. NICE! At $5 a piece this was an absolute steal! Relative to facility and staff, the restaurant is visually very appealing with vibrant Irish accents, neon sign's everywhere and TV's scattered to allow you to watch the big game of the day while enjoying your meal. The decor defiantely adds a lot to the dining experience. Staff was very friendly with great follow up throughout. Overall this is a great bar/restaurant whose reputation is well deserved. I definately will be returning in the near future, probably on a Tuesday, so I can get some more of those tasty margarita's. :) read more

Great small town bar feel. Staff is very friendly and remember a face which is nice. The food is delicious especially the sloppy Joe's, fish and chips, fried mushrooms and shrimp basket. The bathroom is a little tight to get in with a wheelchair. My manual chair fits but an electric chair would not fit. read more

I have not been to Kennedy's until my friend told me to try it out. She didn't disappoint in this recommendation. We came in for some sandwiches. I got the normal Reuben. My friend ordered corned beef but swapped rye bread for an onion roll. Waitress said, "No problem." Food was good. Then bill came and we were shocked to see a $3 up-charge for the onion roll swap. No notice. Seems steep and we should have been told there would be an up charge. 3 of us went to eat there. For 2 of us was our first time there. The entrance indicated 'seat yourself'. We made our way to a seat. We waited well over 20 minutes with no service. Kennedy's is a local and well known (and well loved!) Irish Pub with some unique stuff hanging all over the place, you can basically look around at all the cool stuff and wonder what it is or it's history. Is there any? It's definitely one of a kind! I stopped in on Monday for a drink (or two) and a snack. Their service is top notch, very friendly and super helpful staff. I had some potato soup and chicken tenders, both were great! A few of my friends recommended other dishes to try. My lemondrop martinis were awesome and it's just a great watering hole and somewhere to unwind after a stressful work day. read more

As you walk in the staff makes a point out of welcoming you and gives you that feeling of comfort. I asked the staff what the best corned beef slider was and it was unanimous the Ruben slider. Went to Kennedy's for St. Patrick's Day and it did not disappoint! The place was decorated from ceiling to floor and the staff were so nice. Pleasantly surprised by the clean bathrooms, even as the day went on. Definitely will be going again! read more

Let's get the Meh out of the way. Granted it was -4F last night when we arrived at 6:20PM. But what they lacked was sufficient heat. The interior temperature was 53F when we were seated. And our reserved tables were right beneath a HVAC duct blowing cold air. The staff did acknowledge the problem, but were not especially keen on re-accommodating our party. So we (10) re-accommodated ourselves to two tables that were not beneath the HVAC duct blowing cold air. On the plus side of the ledger: - They did have our reservation for a party of 10. - Excellent service. Waitress split checks by couples without a whimper. - Very good bar food, served hot. - The fish dinner and BLT were both excellent. - Dare I mention cold beer? Or; perhaps that is just being redundant ... But none of these accomplishments excuses that fact that every customer in the dining room was wearing their winter coats. read more
