I called Isaac HVAC and spoke with a rep in Rochester who was very empathetic to our situation. We are seniors with heart conditions and the temp was reaching 98°. We were put on the list for a very short wait time. Jordan came to our rescue. He was polite, on time and very attentive to what we were telling him regarding the air and the problems fixing it. He was done within an hour or so. The price was VERY fair. I am just amazed at the level of honesty, professionalism, courtesy and knowledge that stands behind this company. Isaac HVAC is the best. Hands down. Thank you all so very much.

Nothing sweeter than a repeater!!…read more Great Job to Jordan and the team at Isaac for not only getting the job done right , but also demonstrating urgency in moving my appointment up a day, providing me with a clear explanation of my issue, and being super friendly and polite. Jordan thoroughly inspected my unit and troubleshooted the potential causes for the "weird noise". Once he identified the issue, he quickly checked to see if the needed part was available. He then ventured out in the foot of snow we had, picked up the part and came back and did the install. Great job!! So, again Isaac came through when needed and I appreciate the attention to detail and professionalism demonstrated by Jordan and his support team.

Though they did fix the small part to get the heat back on, they also told us our furnace was moments away from failing completely and we should put in a whole new system (including AC) as soon as possible, and that any money we spent on the service call today would go toward the new system if we installed within a certain amount of time. We were suspicious since the furnace was only 11 years old, and had another company come out for a second opinion - they said everything looked fine. It has now been 2 years and our furnace is still functioning just fine.

We needed to replace our water tank which had begun leaking and called Duffett. Mitch came out…read morewithin 2 hours to explain our options. He was very personable with a great sense of humor which helped reduce our anxiety about anticipated costs. We opted for the tankless water heater which will increase our home value when it's time to sell. He scheduled installation within 48 hours. At 8:45 Mike arrived and asked if we had any questions before work was begun. He was joined by Blake and they worked efficiently removing the tank, installing new piping and the smaller, wall-mounted unit. During the 5 hours they were here, you could tell that they enjoyed working together, bantering back and forth. Upon completion they cleaned the area and reviewed with us how the unit works, encouraging questions. Everyone we dealt with wore masks and maintained appropriate distance. We were well-pleased with the whole process.

The duct work is pretty clean looking and streamlined. With my house being a new build, I suppose you'd expect that the temperature would be comfortable with little wasted energy, but in many respects this is a testament to the quality furnace and duct work Vastola did install. Moreover, the humidifier does a bang up job as well. I'm was a little disappointed about a service call I had to make after we moved in. Our dryer is vented from the laundry room on the second floor to the side of the house, not the roof. Therefore, Vastola ran the vent across the joists of the attic floor. When I finally had a chance to get into the attic to store some things, I noticed the overwhelming smell of dryer exhaust. I checked out the vent and noticed it had come unattached from the outside wall. We called Vastola about the issue, and they came out to fix it, however, they were really defensive when they did so, almost as if they were accusing us of deliberately sabotaging our own dryer vent, which of course is ridiculous. I love dryer vents and would never do anything to harm one of them.

They quoted me $7000+ for a new A/C. When I asked for a quote to just replace they fan motor, they said they would get back to me. It seemed crazy to replace the whole A/C when there was nothing wrong with the coolant line or compression. Didn't hear anything so reached out a week later. They said they couldn't get the part. That my A/C mount was different and requited a special size. Bullshit. I went to S-S Electrical (on Seneca St), bought an A/C fan motor with the same specs as my old one, and changed it out myself for $200. Problem solved.
