The problem was that we had no control of the temperature in the two downstair zones. 10 months, 4 visits, and about $1800 in bills later, they finally found the problem: a clogged 10' copper fuel line. I could have replaced that line with PVC for about $10 dollars, yet Dent specifically itemized $500 for replacement of that line! When I asked in writing for a more detailed itemization of that item, the response was another invoice for the same amount + a late payment fee. Dent installed two furnaces in my house including the ducting throughout our 19th century home. We had worked with Terry Dent, son of Robert G., happily for 30 years. Terry's son, Justine, then took over the business and everything seems to have gone downhill from there.

Bonnie was very polite and professional. She was able to get someone out to my home that afternoon. Heather did a great job. She serviced the unit, cleaned it out and got it working. She noticed it needed a new high pressure valve, ordered the part and came back a week lat and installed it. Very trustworthy and left no messes. Definitely will use again. Price was very reasonable. We had a generator to get us through until Monday which saved us some money. On Monday morning the work to replace the panel began. Tore apart wall thermostat, which wasn't a problem. Husband came home from work, had tech show him the replacement unit, and husband pointed out it was wired wrong. Tech had wired it wrong! So for the 3hrs he was there, should have been maybe 1hr of work had he known what he was doing. He then re-wired it and it worked....I get billed for 3hrs! THEN woman manager argued with me over the bill when I called to say there's no way I'm paying for their tech's incompetence and I'd agree to pay for 1hr. She was SUPER rude even after I pointed out how rude she was being to me. This was not my fault and the tech coming and going, sitting in my driveway, not bringing a part, then finding it, wiring it wrong, tearing apart my wall unit for no reason...... I'm sorry, I am not paying for 3hrs of him not actually performing the job. Unreal, more upset over the woman manager being so rude and not even wanting to listen. She over-talked me, raised her voice so I couldn't talk, and even snickered when I said I knew the owner and went to school with him and I'm sure he wouldn't appreciate how she treated customers!
