They put in eye drops to dilate your pupils not telling you that you will be unable to drive home without good sunglasses. (I would have brought a friend--instead I went to a coffee shop and sat until I could drive home.) I'd ask a question and they would say "Hold still!" What are you doing--"Measurements." What are you measuring and why? "For surgery." What surgery? I saw four different techs and I guess the doctor--but NO ONE introduces themselves; NO ONE wears name tags with their job title EXCEPT for the Registered Nurse on second floor. She was PROFESSIONAL and very nice. I was scheduled for a surgery that was never explained. Told to buy prescription eye drops--$48 WITH good insurance. I wasn't even given my prescription for new glasses. I have to go back and get that. I came home, read the paperwork, called a friend who was my eye doctor in a previous city and was told.."None of that makes sense!" So I called and cancelled the next day. I was treated poorly. But if you like having the doctor (whoever he was) just order you around and not explain anything this is your place. I'll just go to Emory in Atlanta--world renowned clinics. I was very depressed with these people. Maybe in small towns no one wears ID tags as they all know each other?

Turned out that my situation would require a procedure and the Woolfson Eye Institute could assist with resolving this matter. Dr. Salmonson in the College Park & Stockbridge offices is an extremely knowledgeable individual and he shares his insight in a very friendly manner with the patient. The office staff is great at making people feel welcome here and they act very professional around the patients. They're also great with helping to tackle those insurance policy headaches!! Each of their offices come equipped with a Keurig machine in the waiting area for that quick morning caffeine jolt, and their offices are quite clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend visiting the Woolfson Eye Institute for all of your eye care needs.

Go for your free consult and a week and a half later, you are scheduled for eye surgery. They re-check your eyes multiple times to make sure that they have the correct prescription and everyone in the office is so kind! Dr. Woolfson himself is a nice man who put all of us at ease. The procedure was rather simple and routine! It took no more than 20 minutes with only a small amount of pressure and nothing to scary and I was 20/20. It was so easy, in fact, I couldn't believe that I waited this long to have it done! By bedtime, I could see perfect and the next day, I had legal driving vision- 20/20. No pain or discomfort. For anyone who is thinking of checking into LASIK, I highly recommend Dr. Woolfson and his team! Very professional and very good! I couldn't be more pleased!
