When I asked the staff they said it was $2 for air and then asked someone else who said it was $2.50. After filling up at the pump, it was actually $3 for the machine, which isn't a huge deal, but when I started putting air in I realized that the gauge was so rusted you couldn't read it. It also stopped when I was on the third tire. When I did get in and check the pressure, it hadn't changed at all. So we paid $6 for nothing. It was pretty annoying and I just can't recommend this place. Keep driving.

Now thankfully I quit smoking but in Brattleboro I routinely see store clerks checking id's for all nicotine and alcohol sales I thought I'd be a good guy and just have my id out, I see other stores scan it when using my spectacles. The "clerk" aprox 45, black guy, proceeds to loudly and repeatedly mock and berate me "I do security up and down the road here, see a lotta id's, and don need see to your id, its plain as day that you old, now you looking good, for your age that is, but you old". I won't be back and will tell all of my buddies at the senior center how I was treated tonight at Mountain Merchant.

New year, new review…read more Popped in after a morning of skiing New Year's Day and place was packed for lunch! I didn't mind as I was in no rush. As I waited in line I enjoyed conversations with both the people in front and behind me whom all have never been before. The joy and excitement on their faces as they made their way to order was priceless. As for myself, a small mac to help start the new year strong for total lbs sold (81k in 2024) and a small pulled pork. Wanted to order some other things but my refrigerator is full at home, so another time. If this will be your first time, just be aware of parking could be very busy as there's not much. Both ways before pull out of parking spaces as well. Main road can be a cluster at times. I also recommend getting lots of little things rather than a little of a lot.
