First time visit on a Saturday 2 adults and one child Lots of fun things to do Big parking lot Friendly staff Under $57 - ordered tickets online

Loved our visit! So many fun things to do that kept us busy for hours. They had a cute little farm store with great in season produce and warm cider donuts at very reasonable prices. The place was clean and well kept, staff were personable and answered our questions. We visited during sunflower season which was beautiful. Can't wait for next season to try their U-Pick offers. Limited shade, so plan accordingly.

My kids grew up here. It warms my heart to now bring my grandkids to the same farm. Times change, we have to pay to enjoy it now, but I understand & obviously all the out of towners do too. This is a great family friendly place with something for everyone, and I do mean everyone (there's wine & beer) My grandson and I spent almost 3 hours here this past Saturday, he had a blast. We ate pizza & frozen pink lemonade & he even did the corn maze (they have a short one that should only take 15min but we were still in it for 30) SUPPORT YOUR LOCALS!!!

This place is so cute, and perfect on a nice & sunny day! We loved the pizza, pasta, and gelato :) and how there's ample outdoor space to kick a soccer ball around, play basketball, and chill on the grass!

We stopped at the sign of a large gnome. I have to admit, I was not interested in going to this farm. I thought my 10 year old wouldn't find much to do. I am glad we went. Nothing over the moon but we spent a nice summer day exploring and having fun with framily. The wins: Corn house (I thought about germs but what a great idea dumping corn kernels into a little house for the kids to use like a sandbox!) The pillow (who doesn't like to jump around?) The view of the farm is beautiful The Gnome was cool to see! The kids loved the slushies and ice cream on site The loses: It was too hot to walk down to the farm The staff were not very helpful (don't get me wrong they did their job but not overly nice. Kind of like they were not happy we were visiting and had questions) The shop is cute Why do you have a donut stand if it isn't open??!! Overall a small place with a few things to do. Nice wholesome way to spend time with family and friends.

Made a day trip here specifically for the tulip section of the farm. You basically take a hayride to a far away area of the property to see lots of pretty tulips that they planted. You can also pick your own tulips for $2 a stem or 10 for $10. It was a lively place with tons of other things specifically geared toward kids. You can feed donkeys, cows, llamas and goats too. They have a nice produce market with fresh produce and flowers for sale as well as baked goods coffee popcorn pizza etc.. And freshly made apple cider donuts. Overall a good experience!

Weekly entrance is ~$10 while weekends is $4 more or so. The farm has fun activities for kids, mini golf, picnic tables and and a giant bouncer. There are also a alpacas, donkeys, a cow, sheeps and a rabbit that you can feed but not really pet (I guess given covid). You can also buy food to feed them (4items of carrots, corn for $1 or a bag of animal food for the same price) They have a really large extension of crops, so if you want to pick your own veggie you need to drive down the road to the crops. Activities are really focused for kids so i guess i am willing to pay once but if you are a local and you are just accompanying your kid, I would found it expensive. Bought some produce: apple cider doughnuts (okay), tomatoes (not amazing), grapes (very average)

What a great day out! Fun filled family farm. Great value for all included tickets for picking and all of the activities. Hay ride and apple cannon was lots of fun. Plenty of Sunflowers and veggies for picking. All the staff we interacted with were very nice, impressive for teen employees. They all seemed like they wanted to happily be working there.

Good old-fashion farming with nice staff. Everything you need from food to fun. Pick your own. My Great-Grandmother Josie married a Kelder and glad she did. She taught me many valuable life lessons and gave us Wawarsing roots

My girlfriend and I had a great time at Kelder's Farm. We picked raspberries, blackberries, corn, potatoes and tomatoes. We also spent some time in the sunflower fields and had fun feeding the donkeys, goats and Liberty Belle the cow. The rabbits and alpacas were content in the shade and weren't interested in the carrots and corn we were offering or maybe they were hardline supporters of the Occupy Wall Street movement and wanted nothing to do with our bourgeoisie handouts. On second thought, those rabbits did look suspiciously like anarchists. Aside from the person who wrote the asinine Noam Chomsky Wikipedia review, everyone should visit Kelder's Farm. That guy should just stay home and practice regurgitating Fox News talking points. Everyone else---go and have fun! We thought the entrance fee was a great value based on our experience and what we picked. We will definitely be back!

Corn was also available for picking!

A wonderful huge pick your own farm right near Minnewaska state park. They have delicious blueberries as well as beautiful looking eggplants, cabbage, tomatoes, and zucchini. For $15 a person you can pick either a quart of berries or a bag full of vegetables as well as access their kiddie play area. We will come back- support local farms!!

Visited with family this past Saturday. Saw ahead of time that each person in your party has to get a wristband to enter. Kind of ridiculous considering my grandma came just to have an outting with us. She didn't participate in any of the children's activities and she still had to pay..... my little sister had a great time doing the activities. Pumpkins are a bit pricey so just be aware before heading to the patch. I asked inside staff if I could have a. Bag to put the pumpkins and they said I'd have to pay for a bag yet they didn't even have a big enough size bag..... therefore unless you want your car dirty from dirty pumpkins be sure you bring bags or boxes. Nice place for activities just seems overpriced considering you can go to other places and not have to pay to watch your kids do activities.

Alpaca!! There are also donkeys, a cow, bunnies & a pig (but we didn't see the piggy)

Amazing farm. Lots to do and wonderful staff in the white barn as well as the food counters. There are farm animals, a corn maze, a playground, a jump bouncy thing (which the staff assured us it was all ages -- how lovely) and even a u-pick for pumpkins. I'm sure there were lots more, but we mainly visited for the farm animals. You can buy feed for 1$. Food: Hotdogs, burgers, french fries, lemonade, apple cider donuts, corn (on weekends), produce, honey in the store Admission: guaranteed entry if you order online but they do take walk-ins Amazing staff and beautiful farm! Definitely recommend visiting. Wonderful atmosphere.

After filling a bag we ran into John as he was picking some Crab Apples. A half hour later and we had discussed everything from the chemical reaction that makes some apples sweeter than others, to his families history and what brought them to the area, to why planting a seed that you got from an apples, isn't necessarily going to produce an apples tree that produces apples that taste like the apple it came from (mind blown!). My son really fed off of John's excitement which was awesome to see. What if you don't run into John? You've still ended up at the best orchard within a 100 miles. I've been apple picking in the Hudson Valley for over 20 years. You see the same 4-5 variations of apples. However, once you see all of the variations that Wightman has, you'll feel cheated by the limited options at other orchards.

Choose a size bag (small or large) to apple pick, and have a day! This property is so beautiful and peaceful to walk through. They also sell freshly picked grapes, house made apple cider donuts (mini!), bottled apple cider, and apple chips. You are lucky if you get a chance to talk with John or Zachary Wightman-- they are pomologists filled with apple picking knowledge! There really is so much science behind it all, which was fascinating to learn. Thank you to the Wightman family for opening this farm to the public for picking, we had a blast! CC

Upon arrival each person pays a $10 cover charge that you receive a ticket for use in the country store in the amount of $10, so technically you get your money back as long as you buy something. Honestly the visiting experience was only okay, I am not sure I'd go back or recommend it BUT this is tempered by the fact that I did buy the biggest, prettiest mum and I may go back again for another one next year. I definitely have the nicest mum in all of Jersey City. Gold rush & pink lady were my favorite. Atmosphere: Loved for fall! I noticed towards the back, I see a wall of homemade jams. And they're all packaged in these cute mason jars! Strawberry Jelly is a must but then we went a little nutzo with a few more jam flavors as well as homemade apple sauces, fresh cheeses and pickles! Sunday, its check out time and we're heading back to Long Island after breakfast. My wife said we need to go shopping for dinner today. I said, Let's go back to Wright's Farm and pick up dinner? And this was the highlight of our trip. In the cold cases, I see homemade ravioli, one of the stuffings was corn? I had plans to stop in The Bronx and get a few boxes of Raviolis. I gambled and said lets try their corn ravioli. O.M.G. This ravioli was fantastic! My wife made it with fresh sage from our herb garden. It was a little pricey but it was better than anything I had this year. For the week, we bought a large ham steak and a ham hock for pea soup. I saw something interesting, a black futsu squash? I told my wife, lets buy one and take a chance. Amazing! My wife cooked this squash and it came out deelish. Dessert? My sons inhaled the apple cider doughnuts we bought home for them. We went here on a random Wednesday afternoon so we basically had the orchard to ourselves. The first parking lot you see is for their store, you have to keep driving up for the u-pick orchard. There you check in to pay your admission fee, get your wristband, and get your apple picking bag(s). They give you a map where the ripe apples are highlighted for you. My favorite apples were the honeycrisp and snap dragons. They grow vegetables too but honestly we didn't explore the orchard that much (it was huge) so the only other thing I picked besides apples was a tomato, which I felt like was pretty difficult to find a good one. I handed out the apples to other friends and colleagues and they all liked them! There's something different about picking the apple straight off the tree than the apples you would normally just buy at a grocery store. It's a lot crispier when you pick them yourself! The store has apple cider doughnuts! Now being that I am a Californian where we don't have this apple picking culture, I was wondering what all the hype around apple cider doughnuts was about. NOW I GET IT they're so good! Unfortunately since we went on a weekday the doughnuts weren't fresh (they make them fresh on the weekends) so some of them were stale, but most were still good. It's honestly more of a cake than a doughnut, but so good! The doughnuts are self serve towards the back. The store also had a cat on the prowl haha We ended up not even having time to visit the petting zoo, but overall I think my colleagues had a good time here and I would recommend this orchard for anyone trying to have a no frills apple picking experience. I believe there was like a building restroom closer to the store and port o potties closer to the u-pick orchard.
