Starting with last summer, 2020, I had a frustrating issue a couple of times with my first set of glasses so as I went to this location I first worked with Daryl who knew exactly why I was having the issue and quickly took care of the problem. I went back several months later for another particular issue and I thought I would have some issue in resolving it. I saw Daryl and specifically waited for him. He remembered me with a smile. He again knew exactly why I was having the problem and again took care of it immediately. Recently I had broken the frames which are quite expensive.. they are the ones that bend a little so they don't break quite as easily. I had stepped on them so although they didn't snap and break, they had become twisted and mangled in such as peculiar way I couldn't do anything with them myself and I was certain that they were damaged for good. I went back to this location a third time and as soon as Daryl saw me, he again remembered me and asked me how I've been doing. When he saw what I had done to the frames, he said "let me see what I can do" and sure enough he managed to fix them so they looked as good as new. A week ago, I sat on the glasses and they finally snapped in half. I thought they were completely broken and since they were expensive, no glasses should take the beating that I give them. I went back to this location in hopes that Daryl could perform his magic. Daryl wasn't there, but fortunately I met HANNA who immediately became my second Geauga Vision hero. We looked at my account and insurance benefits, and I was due for a new pair but it would only cover the low end ones which wouldn't last a week with me. I didn't have any coverage or anything for the current ones that I broke and in no way could afford to buy these frames again. She said, let me see what I could do. She kept the glasses for just a couple of days and then I got a call from her saying that I can come pick up my new glasses. Maybe Geauga Vision has a special policy that I didn't know about. I just figured since I am so incredibly grateful I didn't want to even ask how she did this. So again, if you go are buying your glasses at Geauga Vision, DARYL and HANNA are the two people to see!

So yes, I probably annoyed poor Dr. Farmer with a million paranoid questions, but he was patient, calm, and didn't even flinch when I asked if my eyes were haunted. I went for every test they offered because it's cheaper to catch something early than to walk into walls later. Exams here are priced about the same as anywhere else, but the frame selection? It's like a fashion show for your face. Paula was super helpful, and the tech, whose name I forgot, was so kind and careful you could tell he treats every lens like a baby bird. You'll pay a bit more for glasses here, but these are your eyes, not a gas station souvenir. I learned that the hard way at a discount place where my glasses looked great but reading a stop sign became a group project. If you want to actually see what you're doing in life again and not just squint hopefully, go see Dr. Farmer. Worth every penny and every awkward "one or two?" moment.

Easy parking lot, spacious well-lit front room, and greetings with smiles using the name listed for the appointment. Such a great atmosphere. We were called back right on appointment time- no waiting around watching your time tick away. Jackie was amazing with my son's pre-appointment exam, letting him know what she was doing before she did it. Dr. Wiersma was professional and to-the-point; I had full confidence immediately and appreciated his time presenting options and answering questions. He took us to the front room and Natalie helped us from there. She was friendly and professional. We never once felt forgotten or unattended to, which happens as you wait and wait somewhere.
