I encountered discrepancies in reports, what I would call fraudulent misrepresentation, not to mention all the lies. Louise was pretty good about staying in touch, but said whatever it took to get you to sign the documents and close this transaction. She did not represent us in a full capacity and at times seemed to be more interested in what the Sellers could or could not do, not always submitting our requests to them or following up on inspections or making sure they were complete. As a new first time homebuyer, my son was talked into signing the closing documents without even a final walkthrough. So needless to say, many costly things have come up since then, including Section 1 Termite issues and repairs (over $20,000) that were passed over and since the purchase has closed they are no where to be found to help with this. Even though Louise said she would cover the Section 1 items no matter what cooperation she received from the Sellers and their Agent. I was in the industry for over 20 years, have owned several single family homes, and have dealt with a variety of people in the real estate industry and have never seen a transaction handled worse than this one. In the end, this was no way to treat a proud veteran and single dad trying to secure a home for his family in a pressured deadline situation.
