I've never seen such a big chicken tender, it didn't even lend itself to eating in the car because there was no way to pick it up without support. I got the level 2 spice (sweet & spicy, I think it was). Not a lot of heat, but I was being cautious since I wasn't sure the heat levels. I'm sure the next levels are spicier. The chicken was super crispy and delicious. The fries were crispy and hot. Nicely seasoned. All served hot and quick. Good take out containers, sturdy and ventilated to keep things crisp for a short drive. Could have used a napkin or two, but I didn't ask for one either. Something to remember for next time. And there will be a next time, probably sooner than later. They were super busy but things moved quickly. They're newly opened so I think they are likely overwhelmed by business, but they're making it work quite well. If the tenders stay that size for the price, the place will be a huge hit because it's a great value.

I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't this. This exceeded expectations by a mile. I…read moreopted for the "tender bites" thinking it would be 10 little nuggets. Nope. It was 10 huge, tender, packed with flavor chunks of chicken. Each one was 2-3 bites of pure amazingness. The crinkle fries were crispy, pickles had a great crunch and bite to them. The coleslaw was fresh and not overly sauced. Everything was perfect. Even the staff was great. But the sauce...the Enzo's sauce. I'm not a sauce fan. They always taste to mayo-forward. But not this one. It's smoky, peppery, creamy, delicious. This time I went through the drive-thru which took a bit because it was so busy, but that's to be expected. The inside was also full of people. Someone who I assume was the owner was walking around checking on things. Everyone seemed happy and enjoying themselves. Prices were incredibly reasonable. I will definitely be back.

There's no sign, just a few windows, and with parking in back, most people use the rear entrance. It wouldn't be difficult to mistake the place for something much shadier than what it is. That's not to say, however, that the Wunder Y is without a hint of shady charm. It's rather steeped in it, actually, a dive to the core. Its patrons have made it into somewhat of an underground Moline institution. I'd never heard anyone even mention the Wunder Y, but once my friends and I finally started making the trip, we couldn't go there without running into someone we knew. For this reason, I like to think of it as my own little speakeasy. It's a great place to run into classmates, your old minor league baseball coach, and people that you thought were dead. They're all down at the Wunder Y. The shuffleboard table is a big draw, and I've seen a few people get hustled with it, insofar as you can get hustled at shuffleboard. But if a couple old guys walk up and ask if you and your buddy are up for a game, it's a pretty safe bet that you're going to get your ass whooped. If you're just a spectator, ask if you can operate the ancient scoreboard. That thing's going to be on Antiques Roadshow some day. I should mention that I once hated the Wunder Y. It grows on you a little bit with each visit, though, like a nicotine addiction or a rash. Best dive in the Quad Cities, which is saying something.

Steak nights are Monday's and Friday's. Great meal for $11.99. Cash only though.read more
