The pita and gyro bread were both soft, hot, and very fresh. All the veggies were fresh and nicely done. They are still not open for dine-in, so we ordered at the window and got it to eat in the car. The gyros were absolutely delicious I really thought the year I was so large that I did not need any of the french fries so I ended up leaving them. It came with a large soda. we decided that our next trip we would get a euro and Scherret with a side of fries we ordered children's meals for both the kids. They were 899 each which we thought were pretty high for a child's meal when it came to the table. It was the biggest cheeseburger you can imagine, and a full order of fries with a large drink Had I known it was so enormous I would've had them share. As it ended up, they did not even eat half of it each, and it ended up a waste of money for us. All of our food was delicious and hot. Unfortunately, Today I found out since February they've been closing their restaurant on Saturdays at the prime dinner hour of 5pm. What a shame. Last Friday I found myself in Sylvis, Il. for work. On a previous visit I had seen Uncle Benny's Gyros. Friday I decided to give it a try. The place looked a little sketchy when I walked in but the young lady working was very nice, the food came out quickly and I can't tell you how good it was! There was a lot of meat in the gyro, the pita was firm enough to hold the meat but still soft and chewy. The tzatziki sauce was creamy and tasted great. I had a great gyro with freshly cut tomatoes and onions; the fries were good, and the fountain drink was huge. The person who took my order was impressive: very polite, and she brought my meal and drink to my table. I usually get the Gyro, which is always good. They have excellent fries and onion rings. I also like the hamburgers. I was a little confused by another poster who said they were premade-I've always had fresh whenever I am there. The hamburgers are really huge too, a single is plenty! The port tenderloin is massive, I have yet to finish a whole one. Service is decent, decor is a little bland, but I usually do take out, which is the way to go. I've never had a bad meal here. The produce used was spot on for the grilled chicken sandwich and the super gyro was extra fat with the lamb and beef or whatever gyro meat they use. I enjoyed the two sandwiches and the steak fries. Decent place and I would goto again. read more

I've been going here since it first opened and in all honesty, the food is wonderful! The service is fast and friendly,prices are higher then most but you get more food for the money. My family and I haven't tried all the food on the menu but we enjoyed the gyros, double bacon cheese burger, bbq rib w/grilled chicken breast and Italian beef combos.The food isn't greasy and the chocolate cream pie is on point!
