    Large grassy area

Since beginning to play Pickleball last year my friends and I probably play here the most. It is somewhat a hidden park located behind one of our large police substations and near a private school. There are four Pickleball courts and they are nicely separated. We can always get a court here which makes us return again and again. The park is its dedicated to all police officers but mainly those that have fallen. It features a tree grove, memorial wall and sculpture.

Horrible transition. Pretty much a slope with a coping.

Destroy this skatepark and start from scratch. This park is clearly designed by someone who never stepped foot on a skateboard. Transitions are just slopes. Cracks in the cement cause pebbles everywhere. The only redeeming quality of this park is its location.

Ahhh...fresh air...peace of mind...calm...time with GOD.embracing Gods abundant love and creations from the trees to those beautiful mountains in the distance. If you never been, this would be the time to go and check out this breath taking scenery and the smell of the natural air freshener that the bushes and tress let off...ahhh...this is a must go for all. Clear your mind in these times focus be safe God Bless all and enjoy!!!

The Police Memorial Park is a City of Las Vegas park to honor, remember, and show support to law enforcement officers - past and present. It is a beautiful and peaceful park that is to be respected. "The Southern Nevada Law Enforcement Memorial Foundation's primary focus is to ensure that the Peace Officers of Southern Nevada who gave their lives in the service to our communities will be recognized and honored in a solemn and respectful manner." The SNLEMF has accomplished exactly that. I highly recommend visiting the Police Memorial Park... Plan to spend time wandering and pay attention to all of the details - you'll understand what I mean by that after visiting.

My prayers are with the family of our fallen hero Officer Charlie xoxoo may he rest in peace #gonetoosoon I thank him for his service xo

I've come here to run many times. It's a huge place with lots of room to run, walk, walk your pet, relax, sit in the grass, read about our fallen heroes and let the kids play. It's a great, clean, safe park and I am so grateful we have a peaceful place to go, to honor those that have lost their lives while protecting our city. God Bless you Metro xoxoxox Thank you Officer Charlie :( i'm so sorry

    Large dog section

I bring my 6 month old husky here almost every day. She's got so much energy that even her daily runs don't kill the energy. They have 3 separated spots. First is for smaller dogs, under 25lbs. Middle is for small to medium and the last is for the larger dogs. Obviously the last section for the bigger dogs is a way larger space than the gated area for smaller dogs. Sometimes you'll get people who go in the wrong section but no problem with that since most dogs are friendly. My pup has no cares to chase the balls or toys or people. She just wants to chase the other dogs. We've encountered lots of dogs here from pit bulls to blue heelers. Never had a problem with owners or dogs until recently. Dog parks should be for dogs who are trained and friendly with other dogs. DO NOT BRING YOUR DOGS YOU CANT CONTROL & ARE AGGRESSIVE. That doesn't make it comfortable for anyone. There was one man with two dogs who were not friendly and he had a hard time controlling them. Definitely shouldn't be at a dog park. Other than that one time, I love this dog park. It's VERY dark at night and lights shut off at 11.

This park is right behind my Church and we use it for all of our activities outdoors. We've practiced for our basketball tournament, we held picnics here, walk our dogs here, and played flag football here. It's a really nice setting, but we've had a run-in with some basketball players that weren't your neighborhood friendlies. They have a skate park, basketball area, large field for football or volleyball, tennis courts, park benches, and gazebos for big parties, and 3 dog park areas! It's not the best park, but it's a really nice park! I hope they hold some local events here sooner or later! :)

This is a beautiful park. It's not too big, and not too small. It's just the right size. Lots of lush, green grass, and mature trees. X

Small park with nice grass. I have only been here once but it seems like many people did not pick up after their dogs.

So that leaves me with my only option of grouping my dog with much larger dogs that are 25lbs or more which is dangerous for my tiny 10 pound mini dachshund. In my experience being here a handful of times, I have a found that about half of the owners are careless and do not take responsibility for their pets behavior. My word of caution if you have a small pup anywhere from 6 months to a year old and you want your pup safe just avoid this park. But if you do decide to take your pup to this specific park then I'd suggest you leash them at all times, which kind of defeats the purpose of going to a dog park. This was my experience and sadly at this moment until many things improve, I cannot recommend Kellogg Dog Park.

Great open space with real grass. Pups enjoyed chasing the birds. There's public park bathrooms nearby which is very convenient if you need to use the bathroom or just if you'd like to wash your hands - there's both soap and water as well as sanitizer. The dog park has several concrete benches throughout the park both in the shade and in the sun. We started in the shade but then it was too chilly so we moved to a nice bench and got some sunshine. It wasn't a busy day. We went on Thanksgiving Day. Several dogs came and left. The few people we met were very friendly and talkative in a neighborly way. Dogs are required to be spayed or neutered and over 4 months of age. A good policy to have for any dog park! There's a spacious large dog side and small dog side. Each has its own poop bag stations and water fountains for pups. Trash cans are abundant throughout the park as well. Overall, it's one of the best dog parks in terms of cleanliness, convenience, spaciousness, and design.

Visited Centennial Hills Park (dog park area) and honestly had such a great experience from start…read moreto finish. First off...parking was a breeze. There's plenty of it, and it's super close to the dog park, which is always a plus when you've got excited pups ready to go. The park itself is split into a small dog area and a large dog area, and both sides were well maintained. The grass was green and mostly clean, and there were multiple shaded seating areas to relax while keeping an eye on your dog. I really appreciated the water fountains placed around specifically for the dogs, they looked clean and well kept, which isn't always the case at dog parks. There are also lots of trees, so even on warmer days, you can find shade easily. There were easily 15+ dogs there during our visit, and the overall vibe was great. Most of the dogs came over to say hello, and they all appeared healthy, well groomed, and social. No aggressive behavior at all... just the occasional male dog trying to assert dominance, but nothing escalated and owners stayed attentive and in control. That alone says a lot about the type of crowd this park attracts. Speaking of people...everyone we encountered was friendly, respectful, and responsible. It was really nice to see that every dog owner we noticed picked up after their pets. That level of consideration makes a huge difference. Beyond the dog park, the rest of the park was just as lively. The volleyball courts were packed with groups having a good time, and the fields were full of soccer teams ranging from little kids to teens. Even the restroom was well maintained, soap to wash your hands, full rolls of toilet paper, no trash or debris on the floor no floaters in the toilets. The playground was surprisingly not crowded, and it looks like it's been updated....there were no traditional slides, but instead more interactive and physical play structures like climbing ropes, stairs, and obstacle style features that make it fun in a different way. Even the parking lot experience stood out... people were patient, respectful, and courteous. One driver even pulled back into their spot after starting to back out just to let me pass, even though I had paused for them. It's little things like that that really add to the overall experience. All in all, it was an amazing day at the park. The weather was perfect, which definitely helped set the tone, but the cleanliness, friendly atmosphere, and thoughtful layout of the park really made it stand out. This is one of those places you'll want to keep coming back to.
