Took my car in to have the AC repaired they told me it was the seals. They replaced the the seals and charge me $650. They also told me they tested the compressor and AC it worked great. When I drive it it home the AC was still not working and then I took it back to them. They said the compressor was bad now and wanted $2200 to replace. I reminded them you told me the AC blew cold when you tested it and now it broke from the time you tested until I picked it up. They said "that's weird but yes". I then took my Honda to Honda of superstition and they charged me $1450 to fix the compressor... There are some shady mechanics who work here. I don't recommend taking you vehicle here. read more

We went to Kelly's Automotive for an inspection of our recently purchased used car to make sure there weren't any issues. We were able to get it done that same day! Jeff, Service Manager, made a recommendation on the skid plate, which was missing. We purchased the plate and Kelly's put it on for a more than reasonable price! The car dealer wanted almost $250 for fasteners but Jeff was able to use fasteners that cost $9.00--total! Jeff was amazing...friendly, courteous and he didn't try to pull one over on us! Their service writers do an excellent job of working with you on quotes and helping you prioritize. I bought a 1985 Corvette that needed work. My granddaughter recommended these folks just 1 mile from my Mesa office, so I went there. They did $2000 worth of repairs and then delivered the car to my office. They explained every item in detail for me, told me the cost of it all and then I ordered the work done. A brake booster they installed turned out to be defective and when I brought it back about 10 days later, they ordered a new one immediately and installed it NOW. Delivered my car to me in 3 hours. Of course, no charge for that! WOW--Way more than I expected and I endorse their work whole heartedly. Besides that, they are really nice guys! Made an appointment with these morons to get my A.C. serviced, woke up at 8:30 to take it in, even called to re-confirm when I woke up. Only to find they just decided to cancel my appointment out of the blue. In all my years of dealing with auto repair shops I have NEVER had worse service. Then told me to bring it over and they "may" be able to get to it later today?!? I did not make an appointment to sit around and wait for you to "maybe" get around to my vehicle. Sorry but no thanks. Then when I told them that that's not how you do business and that I intend to write reviews of his business letting everyone know the way they treat people he actually hung up on me? I came here after another shop damaged my car. They told me they thought it was going to be $650 to fix it. Well, they ended up repairing it for $60. The mechanic that fixed it has to be the superman of mechanics. I will be using their services as long as I own a vehicle that requires maintenance. I am so glad we found Kelly's!!!! Do you know how hard it is to find honest mechanics and an honest shop? We found it here! Have had our cars worked on several times here, and when a fix was minor, they didn't even charge us! That's how you run a business and get people to return!!! When our son was looking to buy his first car, we took it there to have them go over it. The car was a mess (looked good on the outside) internally. They didn't charge us and told us to run from this car. Honesty gets you everywhere!!! Honesty and reliability!!! That's what you get with Kelly's automotive. I went with a recommendation of a co worker to check this place out. He has had nothing but good things to say. I am always reluctant and cautious when it comes to shops. I ask about book time and labor rates along with mark up on parts. The transaction was very smooth. Steve kept me informed every step of the way. There labor rates are the best I have found and there very knowledge about actually fixing the problem. And as for the cost of parts, they are on point. No high pressure sales or add ons of things you don't need. And if you have to Waite. They have an awesome waiting area w/ bottle water. So if you looking for an honest shop? I trust this place whole heartedly with my car. They always recommend what my car needs, not what costs the most. I had a Mini Cooper and they are the most unreliable cars, after fixing it several times and mentioning I was going to sell it, they recommended to not do any more work on the car and sell it. They were honest and instead of trying to get me to pay for another $1,000 worth of work, they recommended what would be in my best interest. I'm now in a much more reliable Toyota Corolla that they've already changed the oil on and did a whole look-over and said the car looks great and was a good purchase. Didn't try to sell me on a bunch of add-ons, "flushes" and fluid changes like other repair shops. Just straightforward and honest. They also purchase their parts where they can get them the cheapest for you and bring your total bill down, not straight from the dealer so they can overcharge. For the past several years my family and I brought our cars to this shop without question. The last several times we have had inconsistent and unreliable service on many of our cars. Our 2005 Nissan had an engine mount replacement that we had to bring back in twice and my 2008 dodge ram now sports a new dent in the door where I had to bring it in for a power window repair. The dent was consistent with shop damage and pretty clearly evident on their surveillance footage,which ironically they purported as proof of their innocence. Eventually, I didn't have the energy or time to argue with them anymore. Needless to say, myself and my family no longer take our vehicles there. Their efforts to reconcile consisted of giving my sister a birthday cake?? I'm very sad to see their customer service decay to this level of negligence and unprofessionalism as in the past I was confident I could take my vehicles there for life. read more
