I recently bought a first car there ( a 2004 jetta gls manual, love it) and i must say that I, as…read morewell as my parents who helped me with the purchase, were thouroghly impressed. Everyone, from the first dealer i talked to, untill the manager were extremely helpful, understanding and generaly nice. The one thing i can say that really stood out is that even when the sale was done, everyone in the shop still cared and gave thier full atention and help. From a dealer bringing me out back to teach me a few 5 speed tricks (it was my first time driving a stick shift) to them taking care of everything and backing thier word, Needless to say, when i finally ready to upgrade, i will be coming back

I leased a 2004 Jetta here in 2004 and had a pretty good experience. My salesman was…read morestraightforward and put me into the car of my dreams. At the time, the business manager was on the rude side, but I've come to expect that from the money guys. When I decided to lease a Jetta again in 2009, I went here first. I looked around for my salesman, but didn't see him and a younger guy approached me. After introducing himself and asking me what I wanted, his reply was, "Well, I haven't been here long and don't know much about Volkswagens, but we'll see what we can do." I was told that the car I wanted wasn't on the lot, and then my salesman and the business manager I'd worked with 5 years ago started to draw up numbers for a car they didn't have! They told me I wouldn't find one anywhere in Massachusetts or NH, which of course put me into "Oh yeah?" mode. I left. The guy called me back for several weeks and kept trying to make me feel bad for him over the phone because I was insisting on what I believed to be a reasonable price and he kept insisting that I would never find it. Well, I did find it, and I found it for a higher, more pimped out trim. So suck on that North Shore VW. If you read my review of Quirk VW, you'll know that I bought my car there, but there was a problem with the socket from day one. Since the service was warranty and Northshore VW is the closest dealership, I took it there to replace the fuse. When I picked up the car, the mechanic came right out to the crowded waiting room, spoke to me like I was 8 and informed me that I must have done something to break it, and to be careful when plugging in my charger. Excuse me? Excuse me? I managed to break a car that I had owned for less than a week by plugging in my GPS to charge? Get off your high horse. The car had a blown fuse from day one. Don't try to pawn that off on me. The 2 stars given here are purely for my salesman back in 2004. Nothing else.

I made the appointment online and requested a rental for the day. I arrived at 8:30 and Kristin was more than helpful even though I was early. Because it was my first visit my oil change and tire rotation were free. And I sat in the waiting area for about 5 minutes and enterprise was there to pick me up and bring me to my rental. Simple I know, but I had a Hyundai previously and they gave me a hard time about a rental even if I paid out of pocket?? So they had me wait like 3 hours and 3 hours on your only day off is a lot of time lost. Really hate Hyundai village I brought it in for a coil misfire a part that cost $16 I had the diagnostic from a local gas station but they wanted to charge me $150 for their diagnostic and he said he would waive it and just charge me labor. They wanted to charge $500 for labor so I told them to pack up my car and he tried to charge my the $150 he said to waive. Hate them. Thanks Chevy for making my day easy!

Asked the manager if he has seen this before and his response was "I see all sorts of stuff". I don't know how to break it to him that that means these cars suck. Don't buy a Chevy and Don't buy it from this place unless you want endless headaches.

We initially wanted to look at the Mirage sedan model but ended up getting a Outlander Sport, Ralliart. Our salesman Jacob Lopez was very accommodating and enthusiastic, his energy was contagious. He showed us many models and completed 3 test drives. He was very thorough explaining the different models and their features, not pushy at all toward a certain one. We really appreciated his approach to auto sales, very bright guy. The deal we got was facilitated by the Manager Brian who was tremendously professional and warm. They negotiated with us and worked with us at the same time, very satisfied with the process. Bill the finance guy is a gentle giant of a man, really personable, not pushy or aggressive. He fought to get the car registered that day, it made my daughter so happy. We went in on Saturday morning and by that afternoon my daughter was in her new car, full tank of gas and fully detailed!! The folks here seem genuinely interested in providing a good experience. We have not owned a Mitsubishi previously, the 10-year 100,000 mile warranty is what drew us but the experience at Michaud was a memorable one. Highly recommend!

Agreed that it met the definition of a Lemon Law buy back, but refused to buy it back and said to go ahead and file a lemon claim as they have "lots of experience" with lemon law claims. Seven months later, when I brought it in for service, another dealership advised me to get out of the car as soon as possible. Issues include (again, they said they put it through a safety inspection): oil pan leak, separating struts, corroded brakes, seized calipers, corroded subframe, compromised serpentine belt, water pump pulley, side marker lenses not working, engine ground strap frayed and separating, suspension coils corroded, bumper held on by zip ties, corroded clutch slave cylinder. I informed Michaud of these findings. They asked to see the report. I sent it to them. They did not respond. I pinged them days later for their thoughts. Still no response. Today, I received a handwritten letter from the dealership saying that they have a customer who really, really wants to buy my car. Yeah, that car is in a junk yard at a $9,000 loss to me. Nice sales people. If you ever have an after-sale customer service need, be aware that the sales manager appears to have learned his customer service skills while in an apprenticeship to the mob.
