We recently purchased a car with our 20 year old daughter, Michaud Mitsubishi was recommended highly by a co-worker. We initially wanted to look at the Mirage sedan model but ended up getting a Outlander Sport, Ralliart. Our salesman Jacob Lopez was very accommodating and enthusiastic, his energy was contagious. He showed us many models and completed 3 test drives. He was very thorough explaining the different models and their features, not pushy at all toward a certain one. We really appreciated his approach to auto sales, very bright guy. The deal we got was facilitated by the Manager Brian who was tremendously professional and warm. They negotiated with us and worked with us at the same time, very satisfied with the process. Bill the finance guy is a gentle giant of a man, really personable, not pushy or aggressive. He fought to get the car registered that day, it made my daughter so happy. We went in on Saturday morning and by that afternoon my daughter was in her new car, full tank of gas and fully detailed!! The folks here seem genuinely interested in providing a good experience. We have not owned a Mitsubishi previously, the 10-year 100,000 mile warranty is what drew us but the experience at Michaud was a memorable one. Highly recommend! read more

Bought a used car. They said they put it through a safety inspection. It had problems. They attempted to fix it six times. Agreed that it met the definition of a Lemon Law buy back, but refused to buy it back and said to go ahead and file a lemon claim as they have "lots of experience" with lemon law claims. Seven months later, when I brought it in for service, another dealership advised me to get out of the car as soon as possible. Issues include (again, they said they put it through a safety inspection): oil pan leak, separating struts, corroded brakes, seized calipers, corroded subframe, compromised serpentine belt, water pump pulley, side marker lenses not working, engine ground strap frayed and separating, suspension coils corroded, bumper held on by zip ties, corroded clutch slave cylinder. I informed Michaud of these findings. They asked to see the report. I sent it to them. They did not respond. I pinged them days later for their thoughts. Still no response. Today, I received a handwritten letter from the dealership saying that they have a customer who really, really wants to buy my car. Yeah, that car is in a junk yard at a $9,000 loss to me. Nice sales people. If you ever have an after-sale customer service need, be aware that the sales manager appears to have learned his customer service skills while in an apprenticeship to the mob. read more

I wish I could give this place ZERO stars. from the day I bought the vehicle it had problems and they pushed them aside, turns out I had a serious oil issue. they then had me drive to and from the dealership every single time my oil light came on so they could track it so I could get a replacement engine through my warrantee. WELL these people decided to have me drive back and forth until my car went over the miles on the warrantee and basically said GOOD LUCK. my car shakes, smokes, and DIES all the time and they have done nothing for me. Do NOT make a mistake of going here specially after 3:30pm. I was just there and got pretty much yelled at by the manager. He was literally scolding us like a little kid. We are just driving back from this dealership and I've been crying all way. I am mad because I didn't speak up then. I'm sad because I let him talk to us like that. WORST DEALERSHIP EVER DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!!! I bought my first car from here back in august of 2022 and I am going through HELL!!! they do not care about their customers at all once they get their money!! the salesman who I had (George) gave me a great deal on the car worked with me to get it into my price range and brought the car down almost $5,000 so I could afford it (now starting to think it's because they knew the issues and wanted to get whatever they could for it should have know before I even got the car that it was a bad idea). The two days they needed to get my car ready turned into almost 3 weeks, they claimed that the parts they needed (spark plugs) were delayed and they were having trouble putting them on. I finally pick up my car after weeks and a couple days later my engine light comes on I bring it back to the dealership and they claim the spark plugs again so I pay and get them fixed, same issue happens again a week after I get my car back. so I bring it back and they fix it again. there is 4 spark plugs so they said that I will just have to keep doing this until they get them all done. i get everything fixed and we are all set but I slowly start to notice more and more issues going on with my car. in the meantime I get two recall letters in the mail, and because their recalls u can get the parts fixed for free so I went along and got all the recalls situated and more things start going wrong with my car, at this point I'm starting to think that every thing the dealership is telling me is a bunch of bull and their just trying to get any money they can. so I go to a family friend who works with cars and he tells me a whole list of issues that's wrong with the car, at the same time I was updating the dealership and making sure it was safe to drive as they keep telling me it is. then one day I'm driving to work on the highway and my car start smoking the whole highway was filled with smoke and I get my car towed back home hoping it's just one of the parts that I was getting fixed the next day, we notice that my fluid levels are all empty, so we go and buy all the fluids fill them and they were just draining right out slowly from the bottom then all of a sudden it busts and all the fluids start coming out through the bottom COMPLETELY BLACK I then get it towed to the dealership and my engine was blown. I go through a huge hassle with the dealership trying to get them to work with us on engine pricing. finally we agree on a engine and price $5000 later and two months I finally get my car back and a month after having it oil change is already needed and now my car is sitting in my driveway undrivable because the turbo needs to now be replaced which is over $1000 That they won't replace because it's "not part of the engine" when it's a part fitted to the engine. long story short they sold me a lemon and didn't care nor do they still care, and I'm now stuck paying $12,000 for a car I can't drive because they are GREEDY GREEDY GREEDY PEOPLE AND COYLD CARE LESS ABOUT THE SAFTEY OF THEIR CUSTOMER!!! read more

I just had my third oil change and second tire rotation on my 2019 Mitsubishi Mirage G4. My vehicle, which I purchased here in October 2018, has just under 10,000 miles on it. They recommend oil changes every 5,000 miles, but I like to get them a little sooner; hence, my third one. I just want to say that I LOVE this car! It is tiny, YET so ROOMY inside! I get about 34 mpg city driving. It is so much fun to drive and to find a parking spot; and I receive so many compliments on the color. For a little car, it is fierce! I have taken it up to the White Mountains without any lack of power noted. My dog, an eighty pound black lab, is quite comfortable in the back seat. The trunk is spacious! I can actually fit more in this trunk than I could in my prior car's trunk, because this trunk is the same square size all the way through. It doesn't suddenly narrow toward the back of it. I would definitely recommend this car to anyone looking for an economical, fun, reliable vehicle! This is the second vehicle that I have purchased from Michaud Mitsubishi. My previous vehicle was a year old 2010 Mazda, which never gave me any issues. I like going back here for oil changes, because I always feel welcome; and the service is professional and fast. They try to sell PHEV vehicles without explaining the whole installation (additional work/time), procedure/cost, nor whether it would be practical for a person's lifestyle/living locatIon. Great, friendly family business, not so low pressure as I received numerous voicemails which I actually don't check unless it's my family or work related. This is because dealerships end up harassing any potential buyer via phone, email, etc., and automatically signing you up for their emails lists (do not recall agreeing to this), but obviously I know how to unsubscribe/block. As far as leaving a 72 hour $500.00 deposit, it goes directly as a payment on your credit card and not "pending". It is time-consuming to get a refund and not 100% professional. They are all friendly esp. Zach and his Dad. Besides that, I don't like going to car dealerships, so please take my 4* rating into consideration due to that fact. Went in for a used car. Salesman confirmed they didn't have anything in my price range. We walked toward the back of the dealership. He introduced me to Mario & his brother, who run their garage/service center. Took two cars out for test drives (one of which already he accepted a deposit for but said it had been days since buyer had contact). Mario was waiting on the title. Initially, said he needed the weekend to pick it up. We exchanged contact information, I handed a check over for full price of the car. After the weekend, I followed up and was told 'it's being mailed.' Two weeks have gone by with minimal contact. Non-responsive via text/call. This review is based on the poor service of Mario, an employee of Michaud doing business on the property of the dealership. Will update later today. ***UPDATE*** Returned to dealership to see if title had arrived. Mario was unavailable. His brother reached out for him to call me. Mario offered to let me drive off with temporary Texas plates. Gave more lipservice about the title being 'just released' in the system. Was in the market for a relatively 'new' used vehicle and was pleasantly surprised by the variety of both new and used vehicles on their lot. If you don't want high pressure sales, then don't put your sales rep in that position, it helps to know what you're looking for, your budget and do your research on the car. I'm writing this so that all can understand about the outstanding service I recv'd from Michaud during a recent visit and from a used vehicle I purchased there. I had been searching for a pickup truck for a few months over the pandemic and found one at Michaud that I liked. I had called there and Zach had indicated that this truck was in high demand and he had one person committed and would let me know if that falls through. True to his word that did fall through and Zach called me back that same day. I then purchased the truck and wanted to have an after market apple play radio system and Tonnau cover installed. Zach was able to make the arrangements for both and once all was installed he would let me know. The buying and selling process was seamless and stress free and I even had an issue with the battery after the sale and their service team of Keith and Paul were awesome and took care of my needs the same day again with no stress!! I must say its quite the opposite when it comes to the service department they are nice and always helped in trying to fix all problems this car threw their way, but they can only do so much. Thank you service department for always doing your best in fixing the problem. Thank you Craig from service you always try to do your best, you guys are amazing in what you do. Do NOT buy a car from these people unless you want a car you just paid off to need an engine and then have them weasel out of their warranty!!! Been in this service department 7 times for leaking or burning oil and they kept either not finding the problem or fixing some small thing to push us off. They successfully pushed us 3K miles over out warranty when they told us that our engine would either have to be rebuilt or replaced at our cost, exactly what they promised would not happen. Things you will also encounter at this "feel good dealership". Their hold message is laughable! We have never been offered a ride to work or loaner car, even when we have begged, you get the answer "I don't know what to tell you". They once had my car for a Saturday morning appointment, dropped off Friday morning with the promise of being done on Saturday and they closed their service department and kept it up on a lift until Monday morning, leaving us without a car. Their service manager, John, also has an attitude problem. He is curt and rude every time I encounter him and I had complained to his boss and the owner several times. Poor you if you encounter him on the day after a holiday when he didn't want to be there. Completely unprofessional and I don't need to know your personal problems. After all, I was using my day to sit around your dealership waiting for you to find your latest excuse to get me out of your waiting room again! Point blank $20K spent on a car that was given the kiss of death at 4 years old that according to their salesmen "looks as good as the day you drove it off their lot". Kevin is the biggest conman you will ever encounter. I got to sit in his waiting room over and over again and hear whoppers like "I'm on the board of Mitsubishi. I'll make sure you're covered even out of warranty if you service your car here" and "we please 99% of people, the others are just the type of people who would complain no matter what you did for them. You could serve them caviar". I fought all summer long to get my engine covered and Mitsubishi corporate finally kicked in to cover the engine. Michaud still refused to cover the labor. Maybe in the future they should find the problem within the first dozen times the car is brought in. I will NEVER stop fighting these guys! read more

This review is specifically for the SERVICE department. I have owned a Mitsubishi for over 10 years now and have never received such horrible customer service. This will be the last Mitsubishi I own or even buy another car from and THIS dealership and service center is the main reason why. They are not there to help you diagnose your issue, they are there to charge you for them to state the obvious. Example #1: I brought my car in for a blown speaker. THEY CHARGED ME $114 TO DIAGNOSE THAT THERE WAS IN FACT NO SOUND COMING OUT OF THE SPEAKER! Thank you for the over-priced hearing test. And frankly, they're not very smart. I still blow my factory speakers constantly (and my $700 factory AMP twice) when it rains but they will fight till the end of the earth that there is NO water leak. According to the head of the service department, "When we looked inside there was no water". I mean, I'm no genius, but after a week of 90 degrees and humidity in August, I think the water would dry up, its called 'evaporation'. Example #2: I came in for a routine oil change. I asked them to rotate my tires. I marked my tires :-) (idiots) THEY DID NOT ROTATE MY TIRES...and then, they were stupid enough to try to lie to my face!! It comes down to the fact that they're out to get your money, do not trust them. If they could they would charge you a service fee to walk through the front door. Some day they won't be in business anymore because money doesn't matter, its the customer service. I noticed they have multiple complaints on the better business bureau and they can add one from me to the list. read more

Sales team ran our credit without authorization. If you don't respond to calls or emails they take that as a sign to continue the process. If we don't respond that means we're looking elsewhere. Lesson learned to not allow dealerships to run our credit. If you want to buy a car through them do outside financing to avoid this problem. read more

Originally bought my car from this company in 2021, after having it for two years I refinanced and my bank recommended getting a refund on my service warranty I bought through them, as I never used it once. After being told by the finance manager that banks don't usually recommend that, I fought for six months, struggled even getting a response half the time, ended up getting my email blocked by the sales manager, and then finally received my refund the day my car ends up totaled. Which, yes is sad, but gods way of telling me Mitsubishi wasn't for me. Yet, I decided to give them another shot and went to see what they had available. When I got to the lot we had a sales person running out the door to get our attention in hopes to make a sale, and ended up finding a supposed one owner used outlander, as the sticker on the car stated and the website post of the car. When handed the car fax (which you can also access from the web post) it clearly states two pervious owners. I didn't think anything of it, ended up putting a cash hold on the car, while guaranteed a call the next day around 12 after I got out of work. Words of the employee "if you decide to not go with this car you will get your money back, we don't keep it we aren't like that" after he bragged about this being a family owned business and how he was a part of the family. Hours pass the next day, so around 3:30 I decided to venture out and check out some other dealerships around, where I found a way nicer car for a way nicer deal. Upon being immediately approved for a loan before even walking out the door of the dealership, I had my spouse give Mitsubishi a call and let them know I was backing out and wanted my hold refunded where they basically fought him about me getting it back immediately as they wanted to mail it. This was never mentioned when putting down the cash hold. Later on, my mother, who was a co signer on my loan, received an email talking about how my check would be available the following day at noon, they couldn't get a loan approved for me (which is bs because all the bank needed was a paper stating my current loan was being paid off by a settlement from being totaled) and they hoped to do business with me in the future. I was copied on the email but never received it which is how I know I was blocked by the sales manager from our previous interaction where I wanted my refund on the service warranty. I would not return to this dealership if it was the last place on earth to buy a car. You shouldn't have to chase your sales person they should be chasing you to make your purchase. But not one call, email, text, nothing regarding the car I put money down on. Horrible customer service and sales service. read more

PLEASE READ AND HELP SUPPORT ----Tired of waiting and fighting so I'm going public, Mitsubishi Danvers - Kevin Michaud owner, Paul service manger, tech Sean, brought my car in with a shift fork malfunction 2-4 back in late November. I am aware that it is a common issue with the EvoX Mr. The magnet breaks and you can't drive. I brought the car in and they diagnosis it (after I've already scanned it) saying that it's the mechatronic unit and not the shift fork, without testing anything or trying other options. They instantly went for the most expensive repair when all I asked of them was to check the shift fork to be sure. They try to assure me it's not the shift fork so I go ahead and get my estimate of $4500. Another Mitsubishi location (specifically Sean from Mitsubishi Curtesy) was able to give me discount so total was $3500. They (Mitsubishi of Danvers) do the "repair". They gave me the car back with NO REVERSE and no supersport mode and told me the car was all set , I couldn't even pull out of the dealer, had to leave it there and return 10 days later. Then they claim to do "something" to fix it and give me the car again. It drives in reverse but still no supersport mode but they said the car was all set... I get home NO reverse! Tech later says he needs to call someone higher up in California because he doesn't know what's wrong. Proceeds to tell me the car is safe to drive minus reverse. I drove on the highway New Years night (next day) and lost ALL GEARS on the highway nearly ending in fatal accident while trying to switch into the breakdown lane. I left an email and received ZERO response. I later call and all they say is we will take a look. They then do a TCU reset (which should have been done with the mechatronic unit replacement, multiple dealers told me it should be included) and the car now finally works after 3-4 times of them giving it back. Car runs but feels funny after I go on test drive with tech Sean (Danvers). One month and a week later I lose all ODD gears but it came back after a couple tries of resetting the car, another month goes by I try to drive to Georgia and Florida for a charity event for Shaquille O' Neal, and VIP shows in Florida. 14 hours of driving and the car doesn't make it because of the same CODE I started with. I had to TOW back from Georgia to MA for them to tell me it's the shift fork. "We can't fix it go somewhere else." I had to start a GOFUND me for a repair they didn't fix properly and I WANT MY MONEY BACK! I have been contacting yu guys back since I dropped the car off on April 10th. It's been over a month of you playing telephone tag and not owning up to your lack of professionalism and negligence. Your repair didn't fix my problem and was never the issue and I now have to spend $7-10,000 for a rebuild! I will do everything in my power for justice. I'm not a POS or some thug. I bought a car at Danvers Mitsubishi in the Winter of 2003, and my experience was great! After a few months the Kelly Motor Group took over and all my experiences since have been horrible. Their Management and Service staff is rude and they do not stand behind their warranty. I was completely turned off when they told me inorder to fix a part that was covered under my warranty they would have to break a part that wasn't covered by my warranty and they I had to pay for that part and the labor involved. I recently experienced outstanding customer service at Michaud Mitsubishi. They have a lot of great cars on their lot and they really work with you to get you in the right one. I was looking to buy one of their awesome Mazda3s. I worked with Ambrose from start to finish. He was very responsive to my calls and emails and he didn't pressure me into taking a deal I didn't like. Most importantly, he was kind to my wife and I. Some dealerships see a young married couple and they see an opportunity to profit hand over fist. Not here: they saw an opportunity to help a young couple get into a great car. The owner, Kevin Michaud, was directly involved in reducing the purchase price of the car to fit our budget. He personally made calls to their lenders to get me competitive interest rate, which is pretty miraculous given my credit. I was really impressed with what Ambrose and Kevin were able to do for us. I too received a flyer that indicated I had won the Smart TV, of course I was very skeptical and with good reason. I'm in a lease and didn't need a vehicle, but when and if the time comes it will never ever from this sleazy joint. If I'm going to buy a car I would buy from someone honest that doesn't need to use gimmicks to lure people in. read more

This is a two part review. Part one for sales. ***** A had a very good experience leasing my 2013 EVO MR. My sales rep Mike, the finance manger, and owner Kevin were all fantastic in helping me get the vehicle I wanted at a price that works. A very good initial experience. Part two is for Service/Reliability. * Not the best experience although a big part of the problem lies with Mitsubishi, not with Michaud specifically. My transmission went at 18k miles. Not what I'd expect from a $40k+ vehicle. Fortunately the repair was covered under warranty. However it takes forever to get parts. This is the second time I needed parts and had to wait 3 days for them to arrive, which seems excessive, and in a case where the car is not drivable there is no type of loaner car program or rental reimbursement either at the dealer or corporate levels. There are other mechanical issues at this point which I am hesitant to address because of the length of time to get repairs. In the most recent case I was left without a vehicle for almost a full week. Part of the reason for going new and taking on the additional costs instead of buying used is to be able to have something reliable to drive and knowing that if the under warranty vehicle has an issue alternate transportation is provided. Most other dealers/manufacturers off a loaner for a vehicle under warranty if the car will be in the shop more than a day. This needs to be rectified at some level read more

I showed up to make an appointment to get my car serviced. The service manager was shooting the breeze with a customer he obviously knew. He saw me waiting there patiently. I waited for 10-12 minutes while they chatted away. I was never aknowledged by the guy or any other people at the dealership that were running around like chickens with their heads cut off. A few other service people went back in the service desk, saw me, then ran away as well. I won't be back ever. read more

Amazing dealership -- everyone is very responsive, helpful, attentive, and professional. We purchased our first car here last week, and it was a great experience, from the moment we contacted them to the time we drove out of the lot with the car. These people are experts and really know what they're doing. Brian helped us figure out the specifics of our purchase, answered our many questions, coordinated with our 3rd party mechanic to arrange a pre-purchase inspection on the car, and had the car prepared/inspected for us in no time. Best car experience ever! I met with Wayne Hathaway at the dealership and he immediately went over prices and different types of cars in my range. He patiently took me around the lot as I teeter-tottered back and forth between multiple cars. I test drove a couple different cars and eventually found one that I loved. He was able to give me all the specs and really gave me honest answers to the questions that I had. I never felt that I was being pushed into choosing a car or that they were trying to scam me in any way. Everyone there was so accommodating! When it came to dealing with the payment Brian Philo took great care of me. He was able to get me a better warranty and helped me choose a payment and interest rate that was right for me. I had to struggle today to get them to look at something that is under warranty. The dealership where I bought it told me the warranty is not expired, but their service department told me that it expired. They started telling me how where I bought the car, Carmaxx, lies about warranties and asking me why I bought from them instead of their dealership. I wasn't pleased at all with the service and already changed service place on my warranty profile. read more
