I really enjoy shopping at Costco Business Center in San Marcos. What makes this location stand out…read moreis what it doesn't have. There's no food court, no clothing section, and no gas station, which means the store is much easier to navigate and far less crowded than a traditional Costco. It's ideal forbulk purchasing, with early hours and a focus on restaurant, office, and commercial supplies. My favorite part? No sample stations. That means no groups of people blocking aisles while waiting for a tiny morsel of food. I can get in, find what I need, and check out without fighting crowds or maneuvering around carts parked in the middle of the aisle. So annoying! The store has a great selection of bulk food, beverages, and business supplies, and the quieter atmosphere makes shopping much more enjoyable. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the selection is more limited than a regular Costco warehouse. Still, if you're looking for a faster, less stressful Costco experience, this is an option. The service has been consistent. The value, well; shop around to check pricing. Almost impossible to get a handicap spot, and some of the most irritable shoppers. Endless circling for a spot must really make them nuts, because I've been yelled at more than once. Indoor food court, which makes it more difficult to just get food. Not as much seating as Carmel Mountain, so you may be standing to eat. And a lot of people eat after they shop, so watch out for carts parked everywhere. The rest of the warehouse is similar to the smaller locations, but each has its own layout inside. They don't seem to get the specialized items that some locations do, but they have all the standard items.

Our gathering place has always been the John Boos maple tabletops. As the kids got older their friends also gathered around in our kitchen. These tabletops are extraordinarily hard and perfect forever. This is the best place to purchase them as they have a direct relationship with John Boos and can answer all questions about sizing and available options. We originally purchased one 30" by 48" in 1992, when we moved we took it with us. We then needed a 36"by 72" which worked great in a bigger kitchen. Now we are redoing the kitchen and are using the John Boos classic country work table as our counters as well as for a large island. The minimalist approach to kitchens and the open airy feeling with these versatile worktables will be perfect in our adobe home. Of course we drove right out to Economy to get their help with this approach and in choosing the right and best products and got a great price too. " all other members that are waiting for the 930 timeslot are waiting in line on the side of the building" -there was no line -I walked up to the same gentlemen, and I let him know. "I don't know which line you're talking about. There is no line" - "There's a line on the side of the building!" There was no line on the side of the building. I was walking back-and-forth, searching for this so-called line. So when I asked him to walk me over to the end of line, he pointed at the pillars where random people were sitting. I communicated and let him know that is not a line. He essentially changed his explanation by saying "you can't block the entrance mam! Executive membership get first priority" Sir I understand and respect that you currently are serving executive members, but please do not say that there is a line on the side of the building. It's very misleading. You can simply just say " we are currently serving executive members from 9 AM to 930. We respectfully need to have this entrance section cleared so that we can service these members. You are welcome to wait anywhere on the side of the building other than by the entrance section. We apologize for any inconvenience, thank you for your understanding" Communication goes a long way.

George showed up on time, very friendly and honest. In the end we were down to 2 companies, Turf Worx and another place. The other place had more Yelp reviews but we really wanted to give Turf Worx a chance since they offered more at a cheaper price. Due to the rain it slowed the turf work down but they got it done! We are so happy with their work. My husband is definitely excited that he doesn't need to mow the lawn again. They also re-did our firepit, which I am super stoked to use. Our old one was so old and beaten up, I never used it. They have a wide variety of turf. We choose one that had a green and yellow tint so it looked like fresh new grass. I wouldn't consider this place a thrift store definitely more like a consignment store... you will…read morefind brands such as Zara, Anthropologie, Reformation etc.... it can get a bit pricey but you can find some cool things there and they do some blue/green stamps on some tags for extra discounts. I bought a shirt there. I had some tops I was hoping to get rid of it so I thought I would tried selling there. I should have known better, I've tried selling clothes at Plato's Closet, Flashback, Buffalo Exchange etc...and they never take my stuff. I don't know why and I promise I always made sure they were clean and in good condition. They were brands they listed they accepted on the site: Anthropologie and American Eagle...they didn't take any. The girls were super nice and I appreciated it. But it just always seemed wild to me that they take on brands such as Wild & Fable and A New Day...and my stuff isn't that super outdated again I don't know their process for selecting clothes because they do have curated pieces. In summary, for shopping it could be fun and you can find some stuff but not on a thrift price. However as for selling, unfortunately at this point now I've just never had a good experience selling clothes at these kind of places. If you want to sell clothes you will have better luck on Poshmark where I've sold clothes more easily. So this place can be fun for buying but for selling you might leave feeling frustrated and confused which is why I rated this place at 3 stars.
