I've been going to Kelly's Bleachers for about 17 years now. Usually there is always some cute server to take care of me. Today when I came in I was approached by this thing. I was a little concerned at first but he turned out to be a lovely man. He was well aware of the specials for the day. I chose the swedish meatballs. They were delicious. Reminded of times well spent at Ikea while my girlfriend was shopping and I had to get away from the 12 aisles of assorted tea light candles. Anthony was quick to refill my beverage. He checked on our table a couple times during our stay. It turns out it was Anthonys first day back to work after a lovely vacation to Italy with his wife. He seemed more than ecstatic to hear all of the great things that happened at his bar while he was gone. I know when I come back from vacation, I usually like to take a couple days before reality sets in. Not Anthony. He needed to get right back to his craft of running his business. Being from Chicago, I have a serious love for WI sports bars where I can binge on cheese curds and $1 beers to begin with....however, Kelly's Bleachers blew me away with their incredible service. The bar was super crowded with packer fans for the playoff game and was crazy fun! The food was pretty great for your run of the mill bar food menu, BUT our server is the reason I gave this place 4 stars! CASEY- you were seriously AMAZING! For as crowded as the bar was, we anticipated having to wait for drinks and food and were totally prepared to do so but I honestly don't think I ever went longer than 3 minutes without a drink in hand, more napkins on the table or her coming around to see if she could offer us anything else!! She was running around serving a bunch of tables and always greeted us with a smile and a positive attitude-in record time! Extra kudos to the bartender and Casey for being accommodating in making a particular drink i wanted. I was craving a mai tai, which the staff was unfamilar with. However, rather than coming to the table and saying "sorry, we wont make that for you", she returned and said "unfortunately, we don't know how to make that drink but if you can tell me how, we can definitely try!" I gave her the ingredient list and it tasted great! Awesome customer service ladies and sincerely appreciated!!! Will definitely go back to Kelly's to catch a game or beers before a game. I celebrated my 61st birthday here and it was great. All the people here are great. One dollar drinks for my birthday. How can you beat that? The bartenders are all friendly and fast. I had not been in the place since it was the Main Gate. We went there several times lately and this review is only related to the beer and the atmosphere. It is a friendly place and they have great specials on beer and food throughout the week, so far we've only had the beer. The bartenders are friendly and attentive. A cool bar that is close to the street and in a walkable area with other bars where one can drink and crawl on a weekend. \This place is big and worth a visit and surprisingly the food was pretty above average. I am super impressed by this place. We came here before a came and were happy we did. They are super efficient so they can get you in and fed and on the bus in time for the game. I believe it was the owner, but he seemed to be running around helping and was very personable. They were really fast! The burgers and pulled pork were great. I held an event there the weekend of the Brewers vs Cubs series, an extra busy there and still, their staff went out of their way to help me out. The owner gave me heads up about what time to get there to save some tables, our server was prompt and polite. Very large double bar layout. Bartender was kind enough to allow us to watch the Masters over a few whiskey and waters. My favorite pub in Milwaukee. I used to come here every Friday and Saturday before the driving distance became an issue (since I live in Waukesha, it's a hike for a drink) but I still try to get down routinely for lunch since the food is excellent for pub food. One of the better bars on bluemound. The bartenders are all super cool. The wait staff is always prompt and friendly. There's plenty of room for parties. It gets a little rowdy after brewers games but it kind of makes it fun. Saturday night the back bar turns into a dance party, which adds to the people watching. The food isn't anything special, but it's still really good. If they invite you to play left right center then be prepared to take a cab home. That rail gin gets ya. This is the best pre brewers game stop. The shuttle is very nice and you never wait long. You pay for parking but they give ya vouchers for food or drink, so it's pretty much free. They have some pretty good food and drink specials. Plus they have a birthday party for each month. Dollar drinks if your birthday is in that month. If you stop there and Anthony is working, have him shoot a beer for ya. It's pretty amazing how fast he does it. read more

My friends & I love going to Kelly's bleachers whether its for a brewers, packer game or just to hang out after work. Their drinks are reasonably priced, really good specials on the weekends. Food is great (delicious wings), they have different deals on food almost every night. Atmosphere is cool, huge bar, lots of pool tables. The owners are super cool, gives us free shots for our birthdays & even sometimes just to show they appreciate our business. We really appreciate that & things like that keep us coming back with more business. I would have given them 5 stars easily however some of the bartenders there need to learn some customer service skills. There's a girl by the name of Kelly, she needs to be checked! She's always rolling her eyes & looks like she hates her job. When she's waitressing instead of coming by and asking us if everything's ok or if we need anything she just walks past us, gives us dirty looks & glares. She's done that a couple times to the point where I want to ask her if she has a problem but to avoid confrontation we just end up going somewhere else. She also sometimes works at the bar. I was there just the other day my friend & I are trying to order our first drinks, she sees me sitting there but she just stands there looking dumb like she didn't see me, when we made eye contact. She then proceeded to go help others first when she clearly did see that I was there first. I was a little frustrated so I said to my friend loud enough so she could hear, "does she not see us here?" Then she comes on over. I'd like to think I'm a great tipper it's always 20% because I work in the tipping industry & I understand that it's how you make a living but she is an exception they way she treats me definitely reflects her tip. When I order drinks I try to avoid her at all costs, I'm sure they split their tips but I would rather give my money to someone who cares. Without your customers your job would not exist, treat them well, they pay your bills. read more

The co-owner, Pat, is an asshole. He harassed me during opening day, while dancing in a music tent to a DJ. The DJ was grossly overweight and no one was dancing. I saw him whisper to Pat, the owner, later Pat approached me asking me not to dance alone or by myself. I was shocked and thought that was an odd request, since it was a dance tent. He told me to dance with a man (white men present ONLY). I continued dancing and he then approached me once again and said that was my second warning. There were plenty of white women dancing alone and a few dancing with me. I am assuming this is why he was upset. I finally left on my own after he kept following me inside and outside watching me like a creeper. I will never go back again. I've known him for almost 30 years and there is drug usage inside. I'm assuming he is not happy with the fact that I am an attractive, lesbian and African American. He told me that people will assume I am on drugs because I was dancing. That sounds like s comment that a drug user will make. Sorry don't do drugs or middle aged white men. I see they have harassed other women in the past, maybe they are all closeted. I saw the news got involved when they tossed a woman out nude on her face. It seems they have problem with women in that place. Racist at best. read more

Its always a good time at Kellys. It's like Cheers in the winter and it's packed before and after every Brewers game. Good drink specials, friendly environment, big bar that isn't ever too packed to find a spot to sit or at least stand. The food is some of the best in the area. I have been to kelly's bleachers before and have enjoyed myself. I've lived and grew up by the area for a long time, so I am familiar with the clientele and atmosphere. However, I can't stress how disrespected and humiliated I was the last time I went there (11/21/15). They displayed what I deem racist and inappropriate behavior (and i am a black man).I went there to attend a birthday party, and was immediately refused at the door because they felt I was "too drunk" of patronize their establishment. First off, I wasn't too drunk. I drove to the bar and parked across the street. Secondly, for the bouncers to glance at me for 2 seconds (and I was in compliance with the dress code ) and come to the conclusion that I am too drunk to come in is absurd. third, my friend who had the party calls me to tell me that they were leaving because her other black friends were denied entry into the bar. Completely racist and unacceptable. They're are plenty of better bars on bluemound (Steve's is fantastic ). I recommend any other bar but kelly's, especially if you are a person of color. read more
